12Am I the seaהֲֽיָם־hayam-H3220,orאִם־'im-H518the seaתַּנִּ֑יןta.NinH8577monsterH8577,That You setתָשִׂ֖יםta.SimH7760a guardמִשְׁמָֽר׃mish.MarH4929overעָלַ֣י'a.LaiH5921me?

13Ifכִּֽי־ki-H3588I sayאָ֭מַרְתִּי'A.mar.tiH559, ‘My couchעַרְשִׂ֑י'ar.SiH6210will comfortתְּנַחֲמֵ֣נִיte.na.cha.Me.niH5162me,My bedמִשְׁכָּבִֽי׃mish.ka.ViH4904willeaseיִשָּׂ֥אyi.Sa'H5375my complaintבְ֝שִׂיחִ֗יve.si.ChiH7879,’

14Then You frightenוְחִתַּתַּ֥נִיve.chit.ta.Ta.niH2865me with dreamsבַחֲלֹמ֑וֹתva.cha.lo.MotH2472,And terrifyתְּבַעֲתַֽנִּי׃te.va.'a.Ta.niH1204me by visionsוּֽמֵחֶזְיֹנ֥וֹתu.me.chez.yo.NotH2384,

15So that my soulנַפְשִׁ֑יnaf.ShiH5315would chooseוַתִּבְחַ֣רva.tiv.CharH977suffocationמַחֲנָ֣קma.cha.NakH4267,Deathמָ֝֗וֶתMa.vetH4194ratherH4480thanH4480mypainsמֵֽעַצְמוֹתָֽי׃Me.'atz.mo.TaiH6106.

16IwasteH3988awayH3988;I will not liveאֶֽחְיֶ֑ה'ech.YehH2421foreverלְעֹלָ֣םle.'o.LamH5769.Leaveחֲדַ֥לcha.DalH2308me aloneמִ֝מֶּ֗נִּיmi.Me.niH4480,for my daysיָמָֽי׃ya.MaiH3117are onlya breathהֶ֥בֶלHe.velH1892.

17Whatמָֽה־mah-H4100is manאֱ֭נוֹשׁ'E.no.oshH582that You exaltתְגַדְּלֶ֑נּוּte.gad.de.Le.nuH1431him, And that YouareH7896concernedלִבֶּֽךָ׃li.Be.khaH7896 H3820aboutאֵלָ֣יו'e.LavH413him,

18ThatYou examineוַתִּפְקְדֶ֥נּוּva.tif.ke.De.nuH6485him every morningלִבְקָרִ֑יםliv.ka.RimH1242And putH974him toH974theH974testתִּבְחָנֶֽנּוּ׃tiv.cha.Ne.nuH974every momentלִ֝רְגָעִ֗יםlir.ga.'ImH7281?
