29“At the appointedלַמּוֹעֵ֥דla.mo.'EdH4150timeH4150he will returnיָשׁ֖וּבya.ShuvH7725and comeוּבָ֣אu.Va'H935into the Southבַנֶּ֑גֶבva.Ne.gevH5045, butthis lastH314timeוְכָאַחֲרֹנָֽה׃ve.kha.'a.cha.ro.NahH314it will not turnH1961outH1961the way it did beforeכָרִאשֹׁנָ֖הkha.ri.sho.NahH7223.

30For shipsצִיִּ֤יםtzi.YimH6716ofKittimכִּתִּים֙ki.TimH3794will comeוּבָ֨אוּu.Va.'uH935against him; therefore he will withdrawH3512inH3512fearH3512and will returnH7725and curseוְזָעַ֥םve.za.'AmH2194the holyק֖וֹדֶשׁKo.deshH6944covenantבְּרִֽית־be.rit-H1285and takeH6213actionH6213;so he will comeH7725backH7725and payוְיָבֵ֔ןve.ya.VenH995attentionH995to those who abandonעֹזְבֵ֖י'o.ze.VeiH5800the holyקֹֽדֶשׁ׃Ko.deshH6944covenantבְּרִ֥יתbe.RitH1285.

31Forcesוּזְרֹעִ֖יםu.ze.ro.'ImH2220from him will ariseיַעֲמֹ֑דוּya.'a.Mo.duH5975,desecrateוְחִלְּל֞וּve.chi.le.LuH2490the sanctuaryהַמִּקְדָּ֤שׁha.mik.DashH4720fortressהַמָּעוֹז֙ha.ma.'OzH4581,and doH5493awayH5493withH5493the regularH8548sacrificeH8548.And they will setוְנָתְנ֖וּve.na.te.NuH5414upH5414theabominationהַשִּׁקּ֥וּץha.shi.KutzH8251of desolationמְשׁוֹמֵֽם׃me.sho.MemH8074.

32And bysmoothבַּחֲלַקּ֑וֹתba.cha.la.KotH2514words he willturnH2610toH2610godlessnessH2610those who actוּמַרְשִׁיעֵ֣יu.mar.shi.'EiH7561wickedlyH7561toward the covenantבְרִ֔יתve.RitH1285,but the peopleוְעַ֛םve.'AmH5971who knowיֹדְעֵ֥יyo.de.'EiH3045their Godאֱלֹהָ֖יו'e.lo.HavH430will bestrongיַחֲזִ֥קוּya.cha.Zi.kuH2388and takeH6213actionH6213.

33Andthose who haveH7919insightוּמַשְׂכִּ֣ילֵיu.mas.Ki.leiH7919among the peopleעָ֔ם'AmH5971will giveיָבִ֖ינוּya.Vi.nuH995understandingH995to the manyלָֽרַבִּ֑יםla.ra.BimH7227; yet they willfallוְנִכְשְׁל֞וּve.nikh.she.LuH3782by swordבְּחֶ֧רֶבbe.Che.revH2719and by flameוּבְלֶהָבָ֛הuv.le.ha.VaH3852,by captivityבִּשְׁבִ֥יbish.ViH7628and by plunderוּבְבִזָּ֖הuv.vi.ZahH961for manydaysיָמִֽים׃ya.MimH3117.

34Now when they fallוּבְהִכָּ֣שְׁלָ֔םuv.hi.Ka.she.LamH3782they will be grantedיֵעָזְר֖וּye.'a.ze.RuH5826a littleמְעָ֑טme.'AtH4592helpעֵ֣זֶר'E.zerH5828,and manyרַבִּ֖יםra.BimH7227willjoinוְנִלְו֧וּve.nil.VuH3867with them inhypocrisyבַּחֲלַקְלַקּֽוֹת׃ba.cha.lak.la.KotH2519.

35And someוּמִן־u.min-H4480ofthose who haveH7919insightהַמַּשְׂכִּילִ֣יםha.mas.ki.LimH7919will fallיִכָּֽשְׁל֗וּyi.ka.she.LuH3782, torefineלִצְר֥וֹףlitz.RofH6884,purgeוּלְבָרֵ֥רu.le.va.RerH1305, andcleanseוְלַלְבֵּ֖ןve.lal.BenH3835them untilעַד־'ad-H5704theendקֵ֑ץKetzH7093timeעֵ֣ת'etH6256;becauseכִּי־ki-H3588it isstillע֖וֹדodH5750to comeat the appointedלַמּוֹעֵֽד׃la.mo.'EdH4150timeH4150.

36“Then the kingהַמֶּ֗לֶךְha.Me.lekhH4428willdoוְעָשָׂ֨הve.'a.SahH6213as he pleasesכִרְצוֹנ֜וֹkhir.tzo.NoH7522,and he will exaltוְיִתְרוֹמֵ֤םve.yit.ro.MemH7311himself andboastוְיִתְגַּדֵּל֙ve.yit.ga.DelH1431againstעַל־'al-H5921everyכָּל־kol-H3605godאֵ֔ל'ElH410and willspeakיְדַבֵּ֖רye.da.BerH1696dreadfulH6381thingsנִפְלָא֑וֹתnif.la.'otH6381againstוְעַל֙ve.'AlH5921theGodאֵ֣ל'elH410of godsאֵלִ֔ים'e.LimH410;and he will beH6743successfulH6743untilעַד־'ad-H5704theindignationזַ֔עַםZa.'amH2195is finishedכָּ֣לָהKa.lahH3615,becauseכִּ֥יkiH3588that which isdeterminedנֶחֱרָצָ֖הne.che.ra.TzahH2782will be doneנֶעֱשָֽׂתָה׃ne.'e.Sa.tahH6213.

37And he will showH995noלֹ֣אlo'H3808regardH995for thegodsאֱלֹהֵ֤י'e.lo.HeiH430of his fathersאֲבֹתָיו֙'a.vo.TavH1or for thedesireחֶמְדַּ֥תchem.DatH2532of womenנָשִׁ֛יםna.ShimH802,norלֹ֣אlo'H3808will he showH995regardH995for anyכָּל־kol-H3605othergodאֱל֖וֹהַּ'e.Lo.ahH433;for he will boastיִתְגַּדָּֽל׃yit.ga.DalH1431againstH5921themallכֹּ֖לkolH3605.

38Butinsteadעַל־ כַּנּ֖וֹ'al- ka.NoH5921 H3653he will honorיְכַבֵּ֑דye.kha.BedH3513a godוְלֶאֱלֹ֙הַּ֙ve.le.'e.Lo.ahH433of fortressesמָֽעֻזִּ֔יםma.'u.ZimH4581,a godוְלֶאֱל֜וֹהַּve.le.'e.Lo.ahH433whomאֲשֶׁ֧ר'a.SherH834his fathersאֲבֹתָ֗יו'a.vo.TavH1did not knowיְדָעֻ֣הוּye.da.'U.huH3045;he will honorיְכַבֵּ֛דye.kha.BedH3513himwith goldבְּזָהָ֥בbe.za.HavH2091,silverוּבְכֶ֛סֶףuv.Khe.sefH3701,preciousיְקָרָ֖הye.ka.RahH3368stonesוּבְאֶ֥בֶןuv.'E.venH68,and treasuresH2536.

39And he will takeH6213actionH6213against the strongestמָֽעֻזִּים֙ma.'u.ZimH4581of fortressesלְמִבְצְרֵ֤יle.miv.tze.ReiH4013with the help ofa foreignנֵכָ֔רne.KharH5236godאֱל֣וֹהַּ'e.Lo.ahH433;he will giveH7235greatH7235honorכָב֑וֹדkha.VodH3519tothose whoאֲשֶׁ֥ר'a.SherH834acknowledgeיַכִּ֖ירhi.kirH5234himand will make them rulersוְהִמְשִׁילָם֙ve.him.shi.LamH4910over the manyבָּֽרַבִּ֔יםba.ra.BimH7227,and will parcelH2505outH2505landוַאֲדָמָ֖הva.'a.da.MahH127for a priceבִּמְחִֽיר׃bim.ChirH4242.

40“And at theendקֵ֗ץKetzH7093timeוּבְעֵ֣תu.ve.'EtH6256thekingמֶ֣לֶךְMe.lekhH4428of the Southהַנֶּ֔גֶבha.Ne.gevH5045will wageH5055warH5055with him, and thekingמֶ֣לֶךְMe.lekhH4428of the Northהַצָּפ֗וֹןha.tza.FonH6828willstormוְיִשְׂתָּעֵ֨רve.yis.ta.'ErH8175againstעָלָ֜יו'a.LavH5921him with chariotsבְּרֶ֙כֶב֙be.Re.khevH7393,horsemenוּבְפָ֣רָשִׁ֔יםu.ve.Fa.ra.ShimH6571,and with manyרַבּ֑וֹתra.BotH7227shipsוּבָאֳנִיּ֖וֹתu.vo.'o.ni.YotH591;and he will enterוּבָ֥אu.Va'H935countriesבַאֲרָצ֖וֹתva.'a.ra.TzotH776,overflowוְשָׁטַ֥ףve.sha.TafH7857them,and passוְעָבָֽר׃ve.'a.VarH5674throughH5674.

41He will also enterוּבָא֙u.Va'H935theBeautifulהַצְּבִ֔יha.tze.ViH6643Landבְּאֶ֣רֶץbe.'E.retzH776,and manyוְרַבּ֖וֹתve.ra.BotH7227countrieswill fallיִכָּשֵׁ֑לוּyi.ka.She.luH3782;but theseוְאֵ֙לֶּה֙ve.'E.lehH428will be rescuedיִמָּלְט֣וּyi.mal.TuH4422out of his handמִיָּד֔וֹmi.ya.DoH3027:EdomH112,Moabוּמוֹאָ֔בu.mo.'AvH4124,and the foremostוְרֵאשִׁ֖יתve.re.ShitH7225of the sonsבְּנֵ֥יbe.NeiH1121ofAmmonעַמּֽוֹן׃a.MonH5983.

42Then he will reachH7971outH7971with his handיָד֖וֹya.DoH3027against othercountriesבַּאֲרָצ֑וֹתba.'a.ra.TzotH776,and the landוְאֶ֣רֶץve.'E.retzH776of Egyptמִצְרַ֔יִםmitz.Ra.yimH4714will not escapeתִהְיֶ֖ה לִפְלֵיטָֽה׃tih.Yeh lif.lei.TahH1961 H6413.

43But he willgainH4910controlH4910over the hiddenH4362treasuresH4362of goldהַזָּהָ֣בha.za.HavH2091and silverוְהַכֶּ֔סֶףve.ha.Ke.sefH3701,and over allוּבְכֹ֖לu.ve.KholH3605the preciousH2536thingsH2536of Egyptמִצְרָ֑יִםmitz.Ra.yimH4714; andLibyansוְלֻבִ֥יםve.lu.VimH3864andEthiopiansוְכֻשִׁ֖יםve.khu.ShimH3569will follow at hisheelsבְּמִצְעָדָֽיו׃be.mitz.'a.DavH4703.

44But rumorsוּשְׁמֻע֣וֹתu.she.mu.'otH8052from the Eastמִמִּזְרָ֖חmi.miz.RachH4217and from the Northוּמִצָּפ֑וֹןu.mi.tza.FonH6828will terrifyיְבַהֲלֻ֔הוּye.va.ha.Lu.huH926him, and he will goוְיָצָא֙ve.ya.Tza'H3318outH3318with greatגְדֹלָ֔הge.do.LahH1419wrathבְּחֵמָ֣אbe.che.Ma'H2534to eliminateלְהַשְׁמִ֥ידle.hash.MidH8045andannihilateוּֽלְהַחֲרִ֖יםu.le.ha.cha.RimH2763manyרַבִּֽים׃ra.BimH7227.

45And he will pitchוְיִטַּע֙ve.yi.Ta'H5193the tentsאָהֳלֶ֣י'o.ho.LeiH168of his royalH643pavilionH643betweenבֵּ֥יןbeinH996the seasיַמִּ֖יםya.MimH3220and the beautifulצְבִי־tze.vi-H6643Holyקֹ֑דֶשׁKo.deshH6944Mountainלְהַר־le.har-H2022;yet he will comeוּבָא֙u.Va'H935to his endקִצּ֔וֹki.TzoH7093,and noH369oneH369will helpעוֹזֵ֖רo.ZerH5826him.
