29At the time appointedלַמּוֹעֵ֥דla.mo.'EdH4150he shall returnיָשׁ֖וּבya.ShuvH7725,and comeוּבָ֣אu.Va'H935toward the southבַנֶּ֑גֶבva.Ne.gevH5045;but it shall not be as the formerכָרִאשֹׁנָ֖הkha.ri.sho.NahH7223,or as the latterוְכָאַחֲרֹנָֽה׃ve.kha.'a.cha.ro.NahH314.

30For the shipsצִיִּ֤יםtzi.YimH6716of Chittimכִּתִּים֙ki.TimH3794shall comeוּבָ֨אוּu.Va.'uH935against him: therefore he shall be grievedוְנִכְאָ֔הve.nikh.'AhH3512,and returnוְשָׁ֛בve.ShavH7725,and have indignationוְזָעַ֥םve.za.'AmH2194against the holyק֖וֹדֶשׁKo.deshH6944covenantבְּרִֽית־be.rit-H1285:so shall he doוְעָשָׂ֑הve.'a.SahH6213;he shall even returnוְשָׁ֣בve.ShavH7725,and have intelligenceוְיָבֵ֔ןve.ya.VenH995with them that forsakeעֹזְבֵ֖י'o.ze.VeiH5800the holyקֹֽדֶשׁ׃Ko.deshH6944covenantבְּרִ֥יתbe.RitH1285.

31And armsוּזְרֹעִ֖יםu.ze.ro.'ImH2220shall standיַעֲמֹ֑דוּya.'a.Mo.duH5975on his part, and they shall polluteוְחִלְּל֞וּve.chi.le.LuH2490the sanctuaryהַמִּקְדָּ֤שׁha.mik.DashH4720of strengthהַמָּעוֹז֙ha.ma.'OzH4581,and shall take awayוְהֵסִ֣ירוּve.he.Si.ruH5493the dailyהַתָּמִ֔ידha.ta.MidH8548sacrifice,and they shall placeוְנָתְנ֖וּve.na.te.NuH5414the abominationהַשִּׁקּ֥וּץha.shi.KutzH8251that maketh desolateמְשׁוֹמֵֽם׃me.sho.MemH8074.

32And such as do wickedlyוּמַרְשִׁיעֵ֣יu.mar.shi.'EiH7561against the covenantבְרִ֔יתve.RitH1285shall he corruptיַחֲנִ֖יףya.cha.NifH2610by flatteriesבַּחֲלַקּ֑וֹתba.cha.la.KotH2514:but the peopleוְעַ֛םve.'AmH5971that do knowיֹדְעֵ֥יyo.de.'EiH3045their Godאֱלֹהָ֖יו'e.lo.HavH430shall be strongיַחֲזִ֥קוּya.cha.Zi.kuH2388,and doוְעָשֽׂוּ׃ve.'a.SuH6213exploits.

33And they that understandוּמַשְׂכִּ֣ילֵיu.mas.Ki.leiH7919among the peopleעָ֔ם'AmH5971shall instructיָבִ֖ינוּya.Vi.nuH995manyלָֽרַבִּ֑יםla.ra.BimH7227:yet they shall fallוְנִכְשְׁל֞וּve.nikh.she.LuH3782by the swordבְּחֶ֧רֶבbe.Che.revH2719,and by flameוּבְלֶהָבָ֛הuv.le.ha.VaH3852,by captivityבִּשְׁבִ֥יbish.ViH7628,and by spoilוּבְבִזָּ֖הuv.vi.ZahH961, manydaysיָמִֽים׃ya.MimH3117.

34Now when they shall fallוּבְהִכָּ֣שְׁלָ֔םuv.hi.Ka.she.LamH3782,they shall be holpenיֵעָזְר֖וּye.'a.ze.RuH5826with a littleמְעָ֑טme.'AtH4592helpעֵ֣זֶר'E.zerH5828:but manyרַבִּ֖יםra.BimH7227shall cleaveוְנִלְו֧וּve.nil.VuH3867to them with flatteriesבַּחֲלַקְלַקּֽוֹת׃ba.cha.lak.la.KotH2519.

35And someof them of understandingהַמַּשְׂכִּילִ֣יםha.mas.ki.LimH7919shall fallיִכָּֽשְׁל֗וּyi.ka.she.LuH3782,to tryלִצְר֥וֹףlitz.RofH6884them, and to purgeוּלְבָרֵ֥רu.le.va.RerH1305, and to make themwhiteוְלַלְבֵּ֖ןve.lal.BenH3835, evento the timeעֵ֣ת'etH6256of the endקֵ֑ץKetzH7093: because it isyet for a time appointedלַמּוֹעֵֽד׃la.mo.'EdH4150.

36And the kingהַמֶּ֗לֶךְha.Me.lekhH4428shall doוְעָשָׂ֨הve.'a.SahH6213according to his willכִרְצוֹנ֜וֹkhir.tzo.NoH7522;and he shall exaltוְיִתְרוֹמֵ֤םve.yit.ro.MemH7311himself, and magnifyוְיִתְגַּדֵּל֙ve.yit.ga.DelH1431himself above every godאֵ֔ל'ElH410,and shall speakיְדַבֵּ֖רye.da.BerH1696marvellous thingsנִפְלָא֑וֹתnif.la.'otH6381against the Godאֵ֣ל'elH410of godsאֵלִ֔ים'e.LimH410,and shall prosperוְהִצְלִ֙יחַ֙ve.hitz.Li.achH6743till the indignationזַ֔עַםZa.'amH2195be accomplishedכָּ֣לָהKa.lahH3615:for that that is determinedנֶחֱרָצָ֖הne.che.ra.TzahH2782shall be doneנֶעֱשָֽׂתָה׃ne.'e.Sa.tahH6213.

37Neither shall he regardיָבִ֔יןya.VinH995the Godאֱלֹהֵ֤י'e.lo.HeiH430of his fathersאֲבֹתָיו֙'a.vo.TavH1,nor the desireחֶמְדַּ֥תchem.DatH2532of womenנָשִׁ֛יםna.ShimH802,nor regardיָבִ֑יןya.VinH995any godאֱל֖וֹהַּ'e.Lo.ahH433:for he shall magnifyיִתְגַּדָּֽל׃yit.ga.DalH1431himself above all.

38But in his estateכַּנּ֖וֹka.NoH3653shall he honourיְכַבֵּ֑דye.kha.BedH3513the Godוְלֶאֱלֹ֙הַּ֙ve.le.'e.Lo.ahH433of forcesמָֽעֻזִּ֔יםma.'u.ZimH4581:and a godוְלֶאֱל֜וֹהַּve.le.'e.Lo.ahH433whom his fathersאֲבֹתָ֗יו'a.vo.TavH1knewיְדָעֻ֣הוּye.da.'U.huH3045not shall he honourיְכַבֵּ֛דye.kha.BedH3513with goldבְּזָהָ֥בbe.za.HavH2091,and silverוּבְכֶ֛סֶףuv.Khe.sefH3701,and with preciousיְקָרָ֖הye.ka.RahH3368stonesוּבְאֶ֥בֶןuv.'E.venH68,and pleasant thingsH2532.

39Thus shall he doוְעָשָׂ֞הve.'a.SahH6213in the most strongמָֽעֻזִּים֙ma.'u.ZimH4581holdsלְמִבְצְרֵ֤יle.miv.tze.ReiH4013with a strangeנֵכָ֔רne.KharH5236godאֱל֣וֹהַּ'e.Lo.ahH433,whom he shall acknowledgeיַכִּ֖ירhi.kirH5234andincreaseיַרְבֶּ֣הyar.BehH7235with gloryכָב֑וֹדkha.VodH3519:and he shall cause them to ruleוְהִמְשִׁילָם֙ve.him.shi.LamH4910over manyבָּֽרַבִּ֔יםba.ra.BimH7227,and shall divideיְחַלֵּ֥קye.cha.LekH2505the landוַאֲדָמָ֖הva.'a.da.MahH127for gainבִּמְחִֽיר׃bim.ChirH4242.

40And at the timeוּבְעֵ֣תu.ve.'EtH6256of the endקֵ֗ץKetzH7093shall the kingמֶ֣לֶךְMe.lekhH4428of the southהַנֶּ֔גֶבha.Ne.gevH5045pushיִתְנַגַּ֤חyit.na.GachH5055at him: and the kingמֶ֣לֶךְMe.lekhH4428of the northהַצָּפ֗וֹןha.tza.FonH6828shall come against him like a whirlwindוְיִשְׂתָּעֵ֨רve.yis.ta.'ErH8175,with chariotsבְּרֶ֙כֶב֙be.Re.khevH7393,and with horsemenוּבְפָ֣רָשִׁ֔יםu.ve.Fa.ra.ShimH6571,and with manyרַבּ֑וֹתra.BotH7227shipsוּבָאֳנִיּ֖וֹתu.vo.'o.ni.YotH591;and he shall enterוּבָ֥אu.Va'H935into the countriesבַאֲרָצ֖וֹתva.'a.ra.TzotH776,and shall overflowוְשָׁטַ֥ףve.sha.TafH7857and pass overוְעָבָֽר׃ve.'a.VarH5674.

41He shall enterוּבָא֙u.Va'H935also into the gloriousהַצְּבִ֔יha.tze.ViH6643landבְּאֶ֣רֶץbe.'E.retzH776,and manyוְרַבּ֖וֹתve.ra.BotH7227countriesshall be overthrownיִכָּשֵׁ֑לוּyi.ka.She.luH3782:but these shall escapeיִמָּלְט֣וּyi.mal.TuH4422out of his handמִיָּד֔וֹmi.ya.DoH3027, evenEdomאֱד֣וֹם'e.DomH123,and Moabוּמוֹאָ֔בu.mo.'AvH4124,and the chiefוְרֵאשִׁ֖יתve.re.ShitH7225of the childrenבְּנֵ֥יbe.NeiH1121of Ammonעַמּֽוֹן׃a.MonH5983.

42He shall stretch forthוְיִשְׁלַ֥חve.yish.LachH7971his handיָד֖וֹya.DoH3027also upon the countriesבַּאֲרָצ֑וֹתba.'a.ra.TzotH776:and the landוְאֶ֣רֶץve.'E.retzH776of Egyptמִצְרַ֔יִםmitz.Ra.yimH4714shall not escapeלִפְלֵיטָֽה׃lif.lei.TahH6413.

43But he shall have powerוּמָשַׁ֗לu.ma.ShalH4910over the treasuresבְּמִכְמַנֵּי֙be.mikh.ma.NeiH4362of goldהַזָּהָ֣בha.za.HavH2091and of silverוְהַכֶּ֔סֶףve.ha.Ke.sefH3701,and over all the preciousH2532things of Egyptמִצְרָ֑יִםmitz.Ra.yimH4714:and the Libyansוְלֻבִ֥יםve.lu.VimH3864and the Ethiopiansוְכֻשִׁ֖יםve.khu.ShimH3569shall beat his stepsבְּמִצְעָדָֽיו׃be.mitz.'a.DavH4703.

44But tidingsוּשְׁמֻע֣וֹתu.she.mu.'otH8052out of the eastמִמִּזְרָ֖חmi.miz.RachH4217and out of the northוּמִצָּפ֑וֹןu.mi.tza.FonH6828shall troubleיְבַהֲלֻ֔הוּye.va.ha.Lu.huH926him: therefore he shall go forthוְיָצָא֙ve.ya.Tza'H3318with greatגְדֹלָ֔הge.do.LahH1419furyבְּחֵמָ֣אbe.che.Ma'H2534to destroyלְהַשְׁמִ֥ידle.hash.MidH8045,and utterly to make awayוּֽלְהַחֲרִ֖יםu.le.ha.cha.RimH2763manyרַבִּֽים׃ra.BimH7227.

45And he shall plantוְיִטַּע֙ve.yi.Ta'H5193the tabernaclesאָהֳלֶ֣י'o.ho.LeiH168of his palaceאַפַּדְנ֔וֹ'a.pad.NoH643between the seasיַמִּ֖יםya.MimH3220in the gloriousצְבִי־tze.vi-H6643holyקֹ֑דֶשׁKo.deshH6944mountainלְהַר־le.har-H2022;yet he shall comeוּבָא֙u.Va'H935to his endקִצּ֔וֹki.TzoH7093,and none shall helpעוֹזֵ֖רo.ZerH5826him.
