21But Davidדָּוִד֮da.VidH1732saidוַיֹּ֣אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559to Michalמִיכַל֒mi.KhalH4324, “I wasbeforeלִפְנֵ֣יlif.NeiH6440the Lordיְהוָ֗הYah.wehH3068,whoאֲשֶׁ֨ר'a.SherH834preferredבָּֽחַר־ba.char-H977me to your fatherמֵֽאָבִיךְ֙me.'a.viKhH1and to allוּמִכָּל־u.mi.kol-H3605his houseבֵּית֔וֹbei.ToH1004,to appointלְצַוֹּ֨תle.tza.VotH6680me as rulerנָגִ֛ידna.GidH5057overעַל־'al-H5921the peopleעַ֥ם'amH5971of the Lordיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068,overעַל־'al-H5921Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֑לYis.ra.'ElH3478. So I willcelebrateוְשִׂחַקְתִּ֖יve.si.chak.TiH7832beforeלִפְנֵ֥יlif.NeiH6440the Lordיְהוָֽה׃Yah.wehH3068!

22And I might demeanוּנְקַלֹּ֤תִיu.ne.ka.Lo.tiH7043myself evenmoreעוֹד֙'OdH5750thanH4480thisH2088and be lowlyשָׁפָ֖לsha.FalH8217in my own sightבְּעֵינָ֑יbe.'ei.NaiH5869,but with the femaleH519slavesH519of whomאֲשֶׁ֣ר'a.SherH834you have spokenאָמַ֔רְתְּ'a.MartH559,with them I am to be heldH3513inH3513honorאִכָּבֵֽדָה׃'i.ka.Ve.dahH3513!”

23And Michalוּלְמִיכַל֙u.le.mi.KhalH4324the daughterבַּת־bat-H1323of Saulשָׁא֔וּלsha.'UlH7586hadהָ֥יָהHa.yahH1961noלֹֽא־lo'-H3808childיָ֑לֶדYa.ledH3206to the dayי֥וֹםYomH3117of her deathמוֹתָֽהּ׃ פmo.TahH4194.
