18So the Lordיְהוָ֤הYah.wehH3068was veryמְאֹד֙me.'OdH3966angryוַיִּתְאַנַּ֨ףvai.yit.'a.NafH599with Israelבְּיִשְׂרָאֵ֔לbe.Yis.ra.'ElH3478, and Heremovedוַיְסִרֵ֖םvay.si.RemH5493them from Hissightפָּנָ֑יוpa.NavH6440;noלֹ֣אlo'H3808one was leftנִשְׁאַ֔רnish.'ArH7604exceptלְבַדּֽוֹ׃le.va.DoH7534 H905the tribeשֵׁ֥בֶטShe.vetH7626of Judahיְהוּדָ֖הye.hu.DahH3063.

19Judahיְהוּדָ֕הye.hu.DahH3063did not keepשָׁמַ֔רsha.MarH8104the commandmentsמִצְוֹ֖תmitz.VotH4687of the Lordיְהוָ֣הYah.wehH3068their Godאֱלֹהֵיהֶ֑ם'e.lo.hei.HemH430eitherגַּם־gam-H1571, but theyfollowedוַיֵּ֣לְכ֔וּvai.Ye.le.KhuH1980thecustomsבְּחֻקּ֥וֹתbe.chu.KotH2708whichאֲשֶׁ֥ר'a.SherH834Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֖לYis.ra.'ElH3478hadintroducedעָשֽׂוּ׃'a.SuH6213.

25And at the beginningבִּתְחִלַּת֙bit.chi.LatH8462of their livingשִׁבְתָּ֣םshiv.TamH3427thereשָׁ֔םShamH8033, theydid not fearיָרְא֖וּya.re.'UH3372the Lordיְהוָ֑הYah.wehH3068;therefore the Lordיְהוָ֤הYah.wehH3068sentוַיְשַׁלַּ֨חvay.sha.LachH7971lionsהָ֣אֲרָי֔וֹתha.'a.ra.YotH738among them that were killingהֹרְגִ֖יםho.re.GimH2026some of them.

27Then the kingמֶֽלֶךְ־Me.lekh-H4428of Assyriaאַשּׁ֜וּר'a.ShurH804issuedH6680commandsוַיְצַ֨וvay.TzavH6680,sayingלֵאמֹ֗רle.MorH559, “Takeהֹלִ֤יכוּho.Li.khuH1980oneאֶחָ֤ד'e.ChadH259of the priestsמֵהַכֹּֽהֲנִים֙me.ha.ko.ha.NimH3548thereH8033whomאֲשֶׁ֣ר'a.SherH834you ledH1540intoH1540exileהִגְלִיתֶ֣םhig.li.TemH1540, and havehim goוְיֵלְכ֖וּve.ye.le.KhuH1980and liveוְיֵ֣שְׁבוּve.Ye.she.vuH3427thereH8033;and have him teachוְיֹרֵ֕םve.yo.RemH3384them the customמִשְׁפַּ֖טmish.PatH4941of the Godאֱלֹהֵ֥י'e.lo.HeiH430of the landהָאָֽרֶץ׃ha.'A.retzH776.”
