1Now Elishaוֶאֱלִישָׁע֙ve.'e.li.Sha'H477the prophetהַנָּבִ֔יאha.na.Vi'H5030summonedקָרָ֕אka.Ra'H7121oneלְאַחַ֖דle.'a.ChadH259ofthe sonsמִבְּנֵ֣יmi.be.NeiH1121of the prophetsהַנְּבִיאִ֑יםha.ne.vi.'ImH5030and saidוַיֹּ֨אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559to him, “GetH2296H4975readyH2296H4975andtakeוְ֠קַחVe.kachH3947thisהַזֶּה֙ha.ZehH2088flaskפַּ֣ךְpakhH6378of oilהַשֶּׁ֤מֶןha.She.menH8081in your handבְּיָדֶ֔ךָbe.ya.De.khaH3027,and goוְלֵ֖ךְve.LekhH1980toRamoth-gileadH7433.
2When you arriveH935thereשָׁ֑מָּהSha.mahH8033,then lookוּרְאֵֽה־u.re.'e.ho.Sha-H7200thereשָׁ֠םShamH8033forJehuיֵה֨וּאye.Hu'H3058the sonבֶן־ven-H1121of Jehoshaphatיְהוֹשָׁפָ֜טye.ho.sha.FatH3092the sonבֶּן־ben-H1121of Nimshiנִמְשִׁ֗יnim.ShiH5250,and goH935inH935andhave him getH6965upH6965from amongמִתּ֣וֹךmi.TokhH8432his brothersאֶחָ֔יו'e.ChavH251,and bringH935him to an innerחֶ֥דֶרChe.derH2315roomבְּחָֽדֶר׃be.Cha.derH2315.
3Then takeוְלָקַחְתָּ֤ve.la.kach.TaH3947the flaskפַךְ־fakh-H6378of oilהַשֶּׁ֙מֶן֙ha.She.menH8081and pourוְיָצַקְתָּ֣ve.ya.tzak.TaH3332it on his headרֹאשׁ֔וֹro.ShoH7218,and sayוְאָֽמַרְתָּ֙ve.'a.mar.TaH559, ‘ThisH3541isH3541whatH3541the Lordיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068saysאָמַ֣ר'a.MarH559: “I have anointedמְשַׁחְתִּ֥יךָֽme.shach.Ti.khaH4886you kingלְמֶ֖לֶךְle.Me.lekhH4428overעַל־'al-H5921Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֑לYis.ra.'ElH3478.”’Then openוּפָתַחְתָּ֥u.fa.tach.TaH6605the doorהַדֶּ֛לֶתha.De.letH1817and fleeוְנַ֖סְתָּהve.Nas.tahH5127,and do not waitתְחַכֶּֽה׃te.cha.KehH2442.”
5When he arrivedוַיָּבֹ֗אvai.ya.Vo'H935,beholdוְהִנֵּ֨הve.hi.NehH2009,the commandersשָׂרֵ֤יsa.ReiH8269of the armyהַחַ֙יִל֙ha.Cha.yilH2428were sittingיֹֽשְׁבִ֔יםyo.she.VimH3427,and he saidוַיֹּ֕אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559, “I have a wordדָּבָ֥רda.VarH1697for you, commanderהַשָּׂ֑רha.SarH8269.”And Jehuיֵהוּא֙ye.Hu'H3058saidוַיֹּ֤אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559, “For whichמִ֣יmiH4310oneof us?” And he saidוַיֹּ֖אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559, “For you, commanderהַשָּֽׂר׃ha.SarH8269.”
6He then gotH6965upH6965and wentוַיָּבֹ֣אvai.ya.Vo'H935into the houseהַבַּ֔יְתָהha.Bay.tahH1004, and the prophet’s servantpouredוַיִּצֹ֥קvai.yi.TzokH3332the oilהַשֶּׁ֖מֶןha.She.menH8081on his headרֹאשׁ֑וֹro.ShoH7218and saidוַיֹּ֣אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559to him, “ThisH3541isH3541whatH3541the Lordיְהוָה֙Yah.wehH3068,the Godאֱלֹהֵ֣י'e.lo.HeiH430of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֔לYis.ra.'ElH3478saysאָמַ֤ר'a.MarH559: ‘I have anointedמְשַׁחְתִּ֧יךָֽme.shach.Ti.khaH4886you kingלְמֶ֛לֶךְle.Me.lekhH4428overH413the peopleעַ֥ם'amH5971of the Lordיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068,overH413Israelיִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃Yis.ra.'ElH3478.
7And you shall strikeוְהִ֨כִּיתָ֔הve.Hi.ki.TahH5221the houseבֵּ֥יתbeitH1004of Ahabאַחְאָ֖ב'ach.'AvH256your masterאֲדֹנֶ֑יךָ'a.do.Nei.khaH113,so that I may avengeוְנִקַּמְתִּ֞יve.ni.kam.TiH5358the bloodדְּמֵ֣י׀de.MeiH1818of My servantsעֲבָדַ֣י'a.va.DaiH5650the prophetsהַנְּבִיאִ֗יםha.ne.vi.'ImH5030,and the bloodוּדְמֵ֛יu.de.MeiH1818of allכָּל־kol-H3605the servantsעַבְדֵ֥י'av.DeiH5650of the Lordיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068,at the handמִיַּ֥דmi.YadH3027of Jezebelאִיזָֽבֶל׃'i.Za.velH348.
8For the entireכָּל־kol-H3605houseבֵּ֣יתbeitH1004of Ahabאַחְאָ֑ב'ach.'AvH256shall perishוְאָבַ֖דve.'a.VadH6, andI will eliminateוְהִכְרַתִּ֤יve.hikh.ra.TiH3772from Ahabלְאַחְאָב֙le.'ach.'AvH256everyH8366maleבְּקִ֔ירbe.KirH8366H7023person bothslaveוְעָצ֥וּרve.'a.TzurH6113and freeוְעָז֖וּבve.'a.ZuvH5800in Israelבְּיִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃be.Yis.ra.'ElH3478.
9I will makeוְנָֽתַתִּי֙ve.na.ta.TiH5414the houseבֵּ֣יתbeitH1004of Ahabאַחְאָ֔ב'ach.'AvH256like the houseכְּבֵ֖יתke.VeitH1004of Jeroboamיָרָבְעָ֣םya.ra.ve.'AmH3379the sonבֶּן־ben-H1121of Nebatנְבָ֑טne.VatH5028, andlike the houseוּכְבֵ֖יתu.khe.VeitH1004of Baashaבַּעְשָׁ֥אba'.Sha'H1201the sonבֶן־ven-H1121of Ahijahאֲחִיָּֽה׃'a.chi.YahH281.
10The dogsהַכְּלָבִ֛יםha.ke.la.VimH3611will eatיֹאכְל֧וּyo.khe.LuH398Jezebelאִיזֶ֜בֶל'i.Ze.velH348in the territoryבְּחֵ֥לֶקbe.Che.lekH2506of Jezreelיִזְרְעֶ֖אלyiz.re.'ElH3157,and noH369oneH369will buryקֹבֵ֑רko.VerH6912her.’”Then he openedוַיִּפְתַּ֥חvai.yif.TachH6605the doorהַדֶּ֖לֶתha.De.letH1817and fledוַיָּנֹֽס׃vai.ya.NosH5127.
11Now Jehuוְיֵה֗וּאve.ye.Hu'H3058wentH3318outH3318to the servantsעַבְדֵ֣י'av.DeiH5650of his masterאֲדֹנָ֔יו'a.do.NavH113,and one saidוַיֹּ֤אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559to him, “Is everythingH7965wellH7965?Whyמַדּ֛וּעַma.Du.a'H4069did thisהַזֶּ֖הha.ZehH2088crazyH7696fellowH7696comeבָּֽא־ba'-H935to you?” And he saidוַיֹּ֣אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559to them, “You knowיְדַעְתֶּ֥םye.da'.TemH3045very wellthe manהָאִ֖ישׁha.'IshH376and his talkשִׂיחֽוֹ׃si.ChoH7879.”
12And they saidוַיֹּאמְר֣וּvai.yo.me.RuH559, “It is a lieשֶׁ֔קֶרShe.kerH8267;tellהַגֶּד־ha.ged-H5046us nowנָ֖אna'H4994.”And he saidוַיֹּ֗אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559, “SuchH2088and suchH2088he saidאָמַ֤ר'a.MarH559to me, sayingלֵאמֹ֔רle.MorH559, ‘ThisH3541isH3541whatH3541the Lordיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068saysאָמַ֣ר'a.MarH559: “I have anointedמְשַׁחְתִּ֥יךָֽme.shach.Ti.khaH4886you kingלְמֶ֖לֶךְle.Me.lekhH4428overH413Israelיִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃Yis.ra.'ElH3478.”’”
13Thenthey hurriedוַֽיְמַהֲר֗וּvay.ma.ha.RuH4116,and eachH376manH376tookוַיִּקְחוּ֙vai.yik.ChuH3947his garmentבִּגְד֔וֹbig.DoH899and putוַיָּשִׂ֥ימוּvai.ya.Si.muH7760it underתַחְתָּ֖יוtach.TavH8478him on the bareגֶּ֣רֶםGe.remH1634stepsהַֽמַּעֲל֑וֹתha.ma.'a.LotH4609, andblewוַֽיִּתְקְעוּ֙vai.yit.ke.'UH8628the trumpetבַּשּׁוֹפָ֔רba.sho.FarH7782,sayingוַיֹּאמְר֖וּvai.yo.me.RuH559, “Jehuיֵהֽוּא׃ye.Hu'H3058isH4427kingמָלַ֥ךְma.LakhH4427!”

14So Jehuיֵה֛וּאye.Hu'H3058the sonבֶּן־ben-H1121of Jehoshaphatיְהוֹשָׁפָ֥טye.ho.sha.FatH3092the sonבֶּן־ben-H1121of Nimshiנִמְשִׁ֖יnim.ShiH5250conspiredוַיִּתְקַשֵּׁ֗רvai.yit.ka.SherH7194againstאֶל־'el-H413Joramיוֹרָ֑םyo.RamH3141.Now Joramוְיוֹרָם֩ve.yo.RamH3141with allוְכָל־ve.kholH3605Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֔לYis.ra.'ElH3478wasdefendingשֹׁמֵ֜רsho.MerH8104Ramoth-gileadH7433againstמִפְּנֵ֥יmi.pe.NeiH4480H6440Hazaelחֲזָאֵ֖לcha.za.'ElH2371kingמֶֽלֶךְ־Me.lekh-H4428of Aramאֲרָֽם׃'a.RamH758,
15butKingהַמֶּ֜לֶךְha.Me.lekhH4428Joramיְהוֹרָ֨םye.ho.RamH3088had returnedוַיָּשָׁב֩vai.ya.ShavH7725to Jezreelבִיְזְרְעֶ֗אלviy.ze.re.'ElH3157to have himself healedלְהִתְרַפֵּ֣אle.hit.ra.Pe'H7495of the woundsהַמַּכִּים֙ha.ma.KimH4347whichאֲשֶׁ֣ר'a.SherH834the Arameansאֲרַמִּ֔ים'a.ra.MimH761hadinflictedיַכֻּ֣הוּya.Ku.huH5221on him when he foughtבְּהִלָּ֣חֲמ֔וֹbe.hi.La.cha.MoH3898Hazaelחֲזָאֵ֖לcha.za.'ElH2371kingמֶ֣לֶךְMe.lekhH4428of Aramאֲרָ֑ם'a.RamH758.So Jehuיֵהוּא֙ye.Hu'H3058saidוַיֹּ֤אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559to the other men, “Ifאִם־'im-H518this is yourintentנַפְשְׁכֶ֔םnaf.she.KhemH5315, thenlet noאַל־'al-H408oneH6412escapeיֵצֵ֤אye.Tze'H6412H3318from the cityהָעִ֔ירha.'IrH5892to goלָלֶ֖כֶתla.Le.khetH1980tellלְהַגִּ֥ידle.gidH5046about itin Jezreelבְּיִזְרְעֶֽאל׃be.yiz.re.'ElH3157.”
16Then Jehuיֵהוּא֙ye.Hu'H3058rodeוַיִּרְכַּ֤בvai.yir.KavH7392inH7392aH7392chariotH7392and wentוַיֵּ֣לֶךְvai.Ye.lekhH1980to Jezreelיִזְרְעֶ֔אלָהyiz.re.'E.lahH3157,sinceכִּ֥יkiH3588Joramיוֹרָ֖םyo.RamH3141was lyingשֹׁכֵ֣בsho.KhevH7901thereשָׁ֑מָּהSha.mahH8033recovering.And Ahaziahוַֽאֲחַזְיָה֙va.'a.chaz.YahH274the kingמֶ֣לֶךְMe.lekhH4428of Judahיְהוּדָ֔הye.hu.DahH3063had comeיָרַ֖דya.RadH3381downH3381to seeלִרְא֥וֹתlir.'otH7200Joramיוֹרָֽם׃yo.RamH3141.
17Now the watchmanוְהַצֹּפֶה֩ve.ha.tzo.PehH6822was standingעֹמֵ֨ד'o.MedH5975on the towerהַמִּגְדָּ֜לha.mig.DalH4026in Jezreelבְּיִזְרְעֶ֗אלbe.yiz.re.'ElH3157and he sawוַיַּ֞רְאvai.Yar'H7200thecompanyשִׁפְעַ֤תshif.'AtH8229of Jehuיֵהוּא֙ye.Hu'H3058as he cameבְּבֹא֔וֹbe.vo.'OH935,and he saidוַיֹּ֕אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559, “I seeרֹאֶ֑הro.'EhH7200acompanyשִׁפְעַ֖תshif.'AtH8229.” AndJoramיְהוֹרָ֗םye.ho.RamH3088saidוַיֹּ֣אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559, “Takeקַ֥חkachH3947a horsemanרַכָּ֛בra.KavH7395and sendוּֽשְׁלַ֥חu.she.LachH7971him to meetלִקְרָאתָ֖םlik.ra.TamH7122them and have himaskוְיֹאמַ֥רve.yo.MarH559, ‘Is your intentionpeaceהֲשָׁלֽוֹם׃ha.sha.LomH7965?’”
18So a horsemanרֹכֵ֨ב הַסּ֜וּסro.Khev ha.SusH7392H5483wentוַיֵּלֶךְ֩vai.ye.leKhH1980to meetלִקְרָאת֗וֹlik.ra.ToH7122him and saidH559, “ThisH3541isH3541whatH3541the kingהַמֶּ֙לֶךְ֙ha.Me.lekhH4428saysH559: ‘Is your intentionpeaceהֲשָׁל֔וֹםha.sha.LomH7965?’”But Jehuיֵה֛וּאye.Hu'H3058saidH559, “Howמַה־mah-H4100is peaceוּלְשָׁל֖וֹםu.le.sha.LomH7965any business of yours? Turnסֹ֣בsoH5437andfollowאַחֲרָ֑י'a.cha.RaiH310me.” And the watchmanהַצֹּפֶה֙ha.tzo.PehH6822reportedוַיַּגֵּ֤דvai.ya.GedH5046, “The messengerהַמַּלְאָ֥ךְha.mal.'AkhH4397cameבָּֽא־ba'-H935to them, but he did not returnשָֽׁב׃ShavH7725.”
19Then he sentוַיִּשְׁלַ֗חvai.yish.LachH7971a secondשֵׁנִי֒she.NiH8145horsemanרֹכֵ֣ב סוּס֮ro.Khev susH7392H5483,and he cameוַיָּבֹ֣אvai.ya.Vo'H935to them and saidוַיֹּ֛אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559, “ThisH3541isH3541whatH3541the kingהַמֶּ֖לֶךְha.Me.lekhH4428saysאָמַ֥ר'a.MarH559: ‘Is your intentionpeaceשָׁל֑וֹםsha.LomH7965?’”And Jehuיֵה֛וּאye.Hu'H3058answeredוַיֹּ֧אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559, “Howמַה־mah-H4100is peaceוּלְשָׁל֖וֹםu.le.sha.LomH7965any business of yours? Turnסֹ֥בsoH5437andfollowאַחֲרָֽי׃'a.cha.RaiH310me.”
20And the watchmanהַצֹּפֶה֙ha.tzo.PehH6822reportedוַיַּגֵּ֤דvai.ya.GedH5046, “He cameבָּ֥אba'H935up to them, but he did not returnשָׁ֑בShavH7725; and thedrivingוְהַמִּנְהָ֗גve.ha.min.HagH4491is like the drivingכְּמִנְהַג֙ke.min.HagH4491ofJehuיֵה֣וּאye.Hu'H3058the sonבֶן־ven-H1121of Nimshiנִמְשִׁ֔יnim.ShiH5250,for he drivesיִנְהָֽג׃yin.HagH5090furiouslyבְשִׁגָּע֖וֹןve.shi.ga.'onH7697.”
21ThenJoramיְהוֹרָם֙ye.ho.RamH3088saidוַיֹּ֤אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559, “GetH631readyH631.” And theymadeH631his chariotרִכְבּ֑וֹrikh.BoH7393readyH631. ThenJoramיְהוֹרָ֣םye.ho.RamH3088kingמֶֽלֶךְ־Me.lekh-H4428of Israelיִ֠שְׂרָאֵלYis.ra.'elH3478and Ahaziahוַאֲחַזְיָ֨הוּva.'a.chaz.Ya.huH274kingמֶֽלֶךְ־Me.lekh-H4428of Judahיְהוּדָ֜הye.hu.DahH3063wentH3318outH3318,eachאִ֣ישׁ'ishH376in his chariotבְּרִכְבּ֗וֹbe.rikh.BoH7393,and they wentH3318outH3318to meetלִקְרַ֣אתlik.RatH7122Jehuיֵה֔וּאye.Hu'H3058and foundוַיִּמְצָאֻ֔הוּvai.yim.tza.'U.huH4672him on thepropertyבְּחֶלְקַ֖תbe.chel.KatH2513of Nabothנָב֥וֹתna.VotH5022the Jezreeliteהַיִּזְרְעֵאלִֽי׃hai.yiz.re.'e.LiH3158.
22WhenJoramיְהוֹרָם֙ye.ho.RamH3088sawכִּרְא֤וֹתkir.'otH7200Jehuיֵה֔וּאye.Hu'H3058,he saidוַיֹּ֖אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559, “Is your intentionpeaceהֲשָׁל֣וֹםha.sha.LomH7965,Jehuיֵה֑וּאye.Hu'H3058?” And heansweredוַיֹּ֙אמֶר֙vai.Yo.merH559, “Whatמָ֣הmahH4100‘peaceהַשָּׁל֔וֹםha.sha.LomH7965,’soH5704longH5704as your motherאִמְּךָ֛'i.me.KhaH517Jezebel’sאִיזֶ֧בֶל'i.Ze.velH348acts of prostitutionזְנוּנֵ֞יze.nu.NeiH2183and witchcraftוּכְשָׁפֶ֖יהָu.khe.sha.Fei.haH3785are so manyהָרַבִּֽים׃ha.ra.BimH7227?”
24ThenJehuוְיֵה֞וּאve.ye.Hu'H3058drewH4390his bowבַקֶּ֗שֶׁתva.Ke.shetH7198with his fullH4390strengthיָד֣וֹya.DoH3027andshotוַיַּ֤ךְvai.YakhH5221Joramיְהוֹרָם֙ye.ho.RamH3088betweenבֵּ֣יןbeinH996his armsזְרֹעָ֔יוze.ro.'AvH2220;and the arrowהַחֵ֖צִיha.Che.tziH2678wentH3318throughH3318his heartמִלִּבּ֑וֹmi.li.BoH3820,and he sankוַיִּכְרַ֖עvai.yikh.Ra'H3766in his chariotבְּרִכְבּֽוֹ׃be.rikh.BoH7393.
25And Jehusaidוַיֹּ֗אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559to Bidkarבִּדְקַר֙bid.KarH920his officerשָֽׁלִשׁ֔וֹshe.lo.shoH7991, “PickH5375himupH5375andthrowהַשְׁלִכֵ֔הוּhash.li.Khe.huH7993him on thepropertyבְּחֶלְקַ֕תbe.chel.KatH2513of the fieldשְׂדֵ֖הse.DehH7704of Nabothנָב֣וֹתna.VotH5022the Jezreeliteהַיִּזְרְעֵאלִ֑יhai.yiz.re.'e.LiH3158;for rememberזְכֹ֞רze.KhorH2142, whenyou and I were ridingרֹכְבִ֤יםro.khe.VimH7392togetherצְמָדִים֙tze.ma.DimH6776afterאַֽחֲרֵי֙'a.cha.ReiH310his fatherאָבִ֔יו'a.VivH1Ahabאַחְאָ֣ב'ach.'AvH256, that theLordוַֽיהוָה֙va.Yah.wehH3068broughtH5375thisהַזֶּֽה׃ha.ZehH2088pronouncementהַמַּשָּׂ֖אha.ma.Sa'H4853againstעָלָ֔יו'a.LavH5921him:
26‘I have certainlyאִם־ לֹ֡א'im- lo'H518H3808seenרָאִ֤יתִיra.'I.tiH7200yesterdayאֶ֙מֶשׁ֙'e.meshH570the bloodדְּמֵ֣יde.MeiH1818of Nabothנָבוֹת֩na.VotH5022and the bloodדְּמֵ֨יde.MeiH1818of his sonsבָנָ֜יוva.NavH1121,’declaresנְאֻם־ne.'um-H5002the Lordיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068, ‘andI will repayוְשִׁלַּמְתִּ֥יve.shi.lam.TiH7999you on thisH2088propertyבַּחֶלְקָ֥הba.chel.KahH2513,’declaresנְאֻם־ne.'um-H5002the Lordיְהוָ֑הYah.wehH3068.Nowוְעַתָּ֗הve.'a.TahH6258then, pickH5375him upH5375and throwהַשְׁלִכֵ֛הוּhash.li.Khe.huH7993him on thepropertyבַּחֶלְקָ֖הba.chel.KahH2513,in accordance with the wordכִּדְבַ֥רkid.VarH1697of the Lordיְהוָֽה׃Yah.wehH3068.”

27When Ahaziahוַאֲחַזְיָ֤הva.'a.chaz.YahH274the kingמֶֽלֶךְ־Me.lekh-H4428of Judahיְהוּדָה֙ye.hu.DahH3063sawרָאָ֔הra.'AhH7200this,he fledוַיָּ֕נָסvai.Ya.nosH5127by wayדֶּ֖רֶךְDe.rekhH1870of the gardenהַגָּ֑ןha.GanH1588houseבֵּ֣יתbeitH1004.But Jehuיֵה֗וּאye.Hu'H3058pursuedוַיִּרְדֹּ֨ףvai.yir.DofH7291him and saidוַ֠יֹּאמֶרVai.yo.merH559, “Shootהַכֻּ֣הוּha.Ku.huH5221him tooגַּם־gam-H1571,in the chariotהַמֶּרְכָּבָ֗הha.mer.ka.VahH4818.” So they shot himat the ascentבְּמַֽעֲלֵה־be.ma.'a.leh-H4608of Gurגוּר֙gurH1483,whichאֲשֶׁ֣ר'a.SherH834is atIbleamיִבְלְעָ֔םyiv.le.'AmH2991.But he fledוַיָּ֥נָסvai.Ya.nosH5127to Megiddoמְגִדּ֖וֹme.gi.DoH4023and diedוַיָּ֥מָתvai.Ya.motH4191thereשָֽׁם׃ShamH8033.

30When Jehuיֵה֖וּאye.Hu'H3058cameוַיָּב֥וֹאvai.ya.Vo'H935to Jezreelיִזְרְעֶ֑אלָהyiz.re.'E.lahH3157,Jezebelוְאִיזֶ֣בֶלve.'i.Ze.velH348heardשָׁמְעָ֗הsha.me.'AhH8085about it, andshe putוַתָּ֨שֶׂםva.Ta.semH7760makeupבַּפּ֤וּךְba.PukhH6320on her eyesעֵינֶ֙יהָ֙'ei.Nei.haH5869and adornedוַתֵּ֣יטֶבva.Tei.tevH3190her headרֹאשָׁ֔הּro.ShahH7218,and lookedH8259downוַתַּשְׁקֵ֖ףva.tash.KefH8259throughבְּעַ֥דbe.'AdH1157the windowהַחַלּֽוֹן׃ha.cha.LonH2474.

Jezebel Is Killed

35So they wentוַיֵּלְכ֖וּvai.ye.le.KhuH1980to buryלְקָבְרָ֑הּle.ka.ve.RahH6912her, but they foundמָ֣צְאוּMa.tze.'uH4672nothingוְלֹא־ve.lo'-H3808of her exceptכִּ֧י אִם־ki 'im-H3588H518the skullהַגֻּלְגֹּ֛לֶתha.gul.Go.letH1538,the feetוְהָרַגְלַ֖יִםve.ha.rag.La.yimH7272,and the palmsוְכַפּ֥וֹתve.kha.PotH3709of her handsהַיָּדָֽיִם׃hai.ya.Da.yimH3027.
36Therefore they returnedוַיָּשֻׁבוּ֮vai.ya.shu.VuH7725and informedוַיַּגִּ֣ידוּvai.ya.Gi.duH5046him.
