Numbers 21:4-20

4Then they setH5265 out from MountH2022 HorH2023 by the wayH1870 of the 1RedH5488H3220 SeaH3220, to 2goH5437 aroundH5437 the landH776 of EdomH112; and the 3peopleH5315H5971 becameH7114 impatientH7114 because of the journeyH1870. 5The peopleH5971 spokeH1696 against GodH430 and MosesH4872, “4WhyH4100 have you broughtH5927 us up out of EgyptH4714 to dieH4191 in the wildernessH4057? For thereH369 is noH369 5foodH3899 and noH369 waterH4325, and 67we loatheH6973 this miserableH7052 foodH3899.” 68The LordH3068 sentH7971 fieryH8314 serpentsH8314 among the peopleH5971 and 9they bitH5391 the peopleH5971, so that 10manyH7227 peopleH5971 of IsraelH3478 diedH4191. 711So the peopleH5971 cameH935 to MosesH4872 and saidH559, “We have sinnedH2398, becauseH3588 we have spokenH1696 against the LordH3068 and you; 12intercedeH6419 with the LordH3068, that He may removeH5493 the serpentsH5175 from us.” And MosesH4872 intercededH6419 for the peopleH5971. 8Then the LordH3068 saidH559 to MosesH4872, “13MakeH6213 a 14fieryH8314 serpent, and setH7760 it on a standardH5251; and it shall comeH1961 about, that everyoneH3605 who is bittenH5391, when he looksH7200 at it, he will liveH2421.” 9And MosesH4872 madeH6213 a 15bronzeH5178 serpentH5175 and setH7760 it on the standardH5251; and it cameH1961 about, that ifH518 a serpentH5175 bitH5391 anyH376 manH376, when he lookedH5027 to the bronzeH5178 serpentH5175, he livedH2421.

1016Now the sonsH1121 of IsraelH3478 movedH5265 out and campedH2583 in ObothH88. 11They journeyedH5265 from ObothH88 and campedH2583 at Iye-abarimH5863, in the wildernessH4057 whichH834 is oppositeH5921H6440 MoabH4124, to the 17eastH4217H8121. 1218From thereH8033 they setH5265 out and campedH2583 in 19WadiH5158 ZeredH2218. 13From thereH8033 they journeyedH5265 and campedH2583 on the otherH5676 sideH5676 of the ArnonH769, whichH834 is in the wildernessH4057 that comesH3318 out of the borderH1366 of the AmoritesH567, 20for the ArnonH769 is the borderH1366 of MoabH4124, betweenH996 MoabH4124 and the AmoritesH567. 14ThereforeH5921H3651 it is saidH559 in the BookH5612 of the WarsH4421 of the LordH3068, “WahebH2052 in SuphahH5492, And the wadisH5158 of the ArnonH769,15And the slopeH793 of the wadisH5158 That extendsH5186 to the siteH7675 of 21ArH6144, And leansH8172 to the borderH1366 of MoabH4124.”

1622From thereH8033 they continued to 23BeerH876, that is the wellH875 whereH834 the LordH3068 saidH559 to MosesH4872, “AssembleH622 the peopleH5971, that I may giveH5414 them waterH4325.”

1724ThenH227 IsraelH3478 sangH7891 thisH2088 songH7892: “SpringH5927 up, O wellH875! SingH6031 to it!18The wellH875, which the leadersH8269 sankH2658, Which the noblesH5081 of the peopleH5971 dugH3738, With the scepterH2710 and with their staffsH4938.” And from the wildernessH4057 they continued to MattanahH4980, 19and from MattanahH4980 to NahalielH5160, and from NahalielH5160 to BamothH1120, 20and from BamothH1120 to the valleyH1516 that is in the landH7704 of MoabH4124, at the topH7218 of PisgahH6449 which overlooksH5921H6440H8259 the 25wastelandH3452.
