Leviticus 26:27-45
27‘Yet ifH518 in spite of thisH2088 you do not obeyH8085 Me, but actH1980 with hostilityH7147 againstH5973 Me, 28then 1I will actH1980 with wrathfulH2534 hostilityH7147 againstH5973 you, and I, evenH637 I, will punishH3256 you sevenH7651 timesH7651 for your sinsH2403. 29Further, 2you will eatH398 the fleshH1320 of your sonsH1121 and the fleshH1320 of your daughtersH1323 you will eatH398. 30I then 3will destroyH8045 your highH1116 placesH1116, and cutH3772 downH3772 your 4incenseH2553 altarsH2553, and heapH5414 your 5remainsH6297 on the 6remainsH6297 of your idolsH1544, for My soulH5315 shall abhorH1602 you. 31I will 7layH5414 8wasteH2723 your citiesH5892 as well and will makeH8074 your 9sanctuariesH4720 desolateH8074, and I will not 10smellH7381 your soothingH5207 aromasH7381. 32I will makeH8074 11the landH776 desolateH8074 12so that your enemiesH340 who settleH3427 in it will be appalledH8074 overH5921 it. 33You, however, I 13will scatterH2219 among the nationsH1471 and will drawH7385 out a swordH2719 afterH310 you, as your landH776 becomesH1961 desolateH8077 and your citiesH5892 becomeH1961 wasteH2723.
34‘14ThenH227 the landH776 will 15enjoyH7521 its sabbathsH7676 allH3605 the daysH3117 of the desolationH8074, while you are in your enemies’H340 landH776; thenH227 the landH776 will restH7673 and 16enjoyH7521 its sabbathsH7676. 35AllH3605 the daysH3117 of its desolationH8074 it will observeH7673 the restH7673 whichH834 it did not observeH7673 on your sabbathsH7676, while you were livingH3427 on it. 36As for those of you who may be leftH7604, I will also bringH935 17weaknessH4816 into their heartsH3824 in the landsH776 of their enemiesH340. And the soundH6963 of a drivenH5086 leafH5929 will chaseH7291 them, and even when noH369 one is pursuingH7291 they will fleeH5127 18as thoughH4499 from the swordH2719, and they will fallH5307. 3719They will therefore stumbleH3782 over eachH376 otherH251 as if running from the swordH2719, although noH369 oneH369 is pursuingH7291; and you will haveH1961 no strength 20to standH8617 up beforeH6440 your enemiesH340. 38But 21you will perishH6 among the nationsH1471, and your enemies’H340 landH776 will consumeH398 you. 3922So those of you who may be leftH7604 will rotH4743 awayH4743 because of their iniquityH5771 in the landsH776 of your enemiesH340; and alsoH637 because of the iniquitiesH5771 of their forefathersH1 they will rotH4743 awayH4743 with them.
40‘23If they confessH3034 their iniquityH5771 and the iniquityH5771 of their forefathersH1, in their unfaithfulnessH4603 whichH834 they committedH4603 against Me, and alsoH637 in their actingH1980 with hostilityH7147 againstH5973 Me-- 41I alsoH637 was actingH1980 with hostilityH7147 againstH5973 them, to bringH935 them into the landH776 of their enemiesH340--24orH176 ifH227 their uncircumcisedH6189 heartH3824 becomesH3665 humbledH3665 so that 25they thenH227 makeH7521 amendsH7521 for their iniquityH5771, 42then I will rememberH2142 26My covenantH1285 with JacobH3290, and I will rememberH2142 alsoH637 27My covenantH1285 with IsaacH3327, and 28My covenantH1285 with AbrahamH85 as wellH637, and I will rememberH2142 the landH776. 4329For the landH776 will be abandonedH5800 by them, and will makeH7521 up for its sabbathsH7676 while it is madeH8074 desolateH8074 withoutH4480 them. They, meanwhile, will be makingH7521 amendsH7521 for their iniquityH5771, 30becauseH3282 they rejectedH3988 My ordinancesH4941 and their 31soulH5315 abhorredH1602 My statutesH2708. 44Yet in spiteH637H1571 of thisH2088, when they are in the landH776 of their enemiesH340, I will not rejectH3988 them, norH3808 will I so 32abhorH1602 them as 33to destroyH3615 them, 34breakingH6565 My covenantH1285 with them; for I am the LordH3068 their GodH430. 45But I will rememberH2142 for them the 35covenantH1285 with their ancestorsH7223, whomH834 I broughtH3318 out of the landH776 of EgyptH4714 in the sightH5869 of the nationsH1471, that 36I might be their GodH430. I am the LordH3068.’”
