Leviticus 16:29-34
“This shall be a permanentH5769 statuteH2708 for you: 1in the seventhH7637 monthH2320, on the tenthH6218 day of the monthH2320, you shall humbleH6031 your soulsH5315 and not 2doH6213 anyH3605 workH4399, whether the nativeH249, or the alienH1616 who sojournsH1481 amongH8432 you;
for it is on thisH2088 dayH3117 that 3atonementH3722 shall be madeH3722 for you to 4cleanseH2891 you; you will be cleanH2891 from allH3605 your sinsH2403 beforeH6440 the LordH3068.
It is to be a sabbathH7676 of solemnH7677 restH7677 for you, that you may 5humbleH6031 your soulsH5315; it is a permanentH5769 statuteH2708.
So the priestH3548 whoH834 is anointedH4886 and 6ordainedH4390H3027 to serveH3547 as priestH3547 in his father’sH1 placeH8478 shall makeH3722 atonementH3722: he shall thus putH3847 on 7the linenH906 garmentsH899, the holyH6944 garmentsH899,
and makeH3722 atonementH3722 for the holyH6944 sanctuaryH4720, and he shall makeH3722 atonementH3722 for the tentH168 of meetingH4150 and for the altarH4196. He shall also makeH3722 atonementH3722 for 8the priestsH3548 and for allH3605 the peopleH5971 of the assemblyH6951.
Now you shall haveH1961 thisH2088 as a 9permanentH5769 statuteH2708, to 10makeH3722 atonementH3722 for the sonsH1121 of IsraelH3478 for allH3605 their sinsH2403 onceH259 every yearH8141.” And justH3512 as the LordH3068 had commandedH6680 MosesH4872, so he didH6213.
