1Then the LordH3068 saidH6030H559 to JobH347,2“Will the faultfinderH3250 1contendH7378 with the AlmightyH7706? Let him who 2reprovesH3198 GodH433 answerH6030 it.”
3Then JobH347 answeredH6030 the LordH3068 and saidH559,4“BeholdH2005, I am insignificantH7043; whatH4100 can I replyH7725 to You? I 3layH7760 my handH3027 on my mouthH6310.5OnceH259 I have spokenH1696, and 4I will not answerH6030; Even twiceH8147, and I will addH3254 nothingH3808 more.”
God Questions Job
6Then the 5LordH3068 answeredH6030 JobH347 out of the stormH5591 and saidH559,7“NowH4994 6girdH247 up your loinsH2504 like a manH1397; I will 7askH7592 you, and you instructH3045 Me.8Will you reallyH637 8annulH6565 My judgmentH4941? Will you 9condemnH7561 Me 10that you may be justifiedH6663?9OrH518 do you have an armH2220 like GodH410, And can you 11thunderH7481 with a voiceH6963 likeH3644 His?
10“12AdornH5710 yourselfH5710 with eminenceH1347 and dignityH1363, And clotheH3847 yourselfH3847 with honorH1935 and majestyH1926.11PourH6327 out 13the overflowingsH5678 of your angerH639, And lookH7200 on everyoneH3605 whoH1343 is 14proudH1343, and makeH8213 him lowH8213.12LookH7200 on everyoneH3605 whoH1343 is proudH1343, and 15humbleH3665 him, And 16treadH1915 downH1915 the wickedH7563 17whereH8478 they standH8478.1318HideH2934 them in the dustH6083 togetherH3162; BindH2280 19them in the hiddenH2934 place.14Then I will alsoH1571 20confessH3034 to you, That your own rightH3225 handH3225 can saveH3467 you.
God’s Power Shown in Creatures
15“BeholdH2009 nowH4994, 21BehemothH930, whichH834 22I madeH6213 23as wellH5973 as you; He eatsH398 grassH2682 like an oxH1241.16BeholdH2009 nowH4994, his strengthH3581 in his loinsH4975 And his powerH202 in the musclesH8306 of his bellyH990.17He bendsH2654 his tailH2180 likeH3644 a cedarH730; The sinewsH1517 of his thighsH6344 are knitH8276 togetherH8276.18His bonesH6106 are tubesH650 of bronzeH5154; His 24limbsH1634 are like barsH4300 of ironH1270.
19“He is the 25firstH7225 of the waysH1870 of GodH410; Let his 26makerH6213 bringH5066 nearH5066 his swordH2719.20SurelyH5608 the mountainsH2022 27bringH5375 him foodH944, And allH3605 the beastsH2421 of the fieldH7704 28playH7832 thereH8033.21UnderH8478 the lotusH6628 plantsH6628 he liesH7901 downH7901, In the covertH5643 of the reedsH7070 and the marshH1207.22The lotusH6628 plantsH6628 coverH5526 him with 29shadeH6738; The willowsH6155 of the brookH5158 surroundH5437 him.23IfH2005 a riverH5104 30ragesH6231, he is not alarmedH2648; He is confidentH982, thoughH3588 the 31JordanH3383 rushesH1518 to his mouthH6310.24Can anyone captureH3947 him 32when he is on watchH5869, With 33barbsH4170 can anyone pierceH5344 his noseH639?
