Job 2:9-13
9Then his wifeH802 saidH559 to him, “Do you stillH5750 holdH2388 fastH2388 your integrityH8538? CurseH1288 GodH430 and dieH4191!” 10But he saidH559 to her, “You speakH1696 as oneH259 of the foolishH5036 womenH5036 speaksH1696. 1Shall we indeedH1571 acceptH6901 goodH2896 from GodH430 and not acceptH6901 adversityH7451?” 2In allH3605 thisH2088 JobH347 did not sinH2398 with his lipsH8193.
11Now when Job’sH347 threeH7969 friendsH7453 heardH8085 of allH3605 thisH2088 adversityH7463 that had comeH935 upon him, they cameH935 eachH376 oneH376 from his own placeH4725, EliphazH464 the 3TemaniteH8489, BildadH1085 the 4ShuhiteH7747 and ZopharH6691 the NaamathiteH5284; and they madeH3259 an appointmentH3259 togetherH3164 to comeH935 to 5sympathizeH5110 with him and comfortH5162 him. 12When they liftedH5375 up their eyesH5869 at a distanceH7350 and did not recognizeH5234 him, they raisedH5375 their voicesH6963 and weptH1058. And eachH376 of them 6toreH7167 his robeH4598 and they 7threwH2236 dustH6083 overH5921 their headsH7218 toward the skyH8064. 138Then they satH3427 downH3427 on the groundH776 with him for sevenH7651 daysH3117 and sevenH7651 nightsH3915 with noH369 oneH369 speakingH1696 a wordH1697 to him, for they sawH7200 that his painH3511 was veryH3966 greatH1431.
