Then the wordH1697 of the LordH3068 cameH1961 to JeremiahH3414 the secondH8145 timeH8145, while he was stillH5750 12confinedH6113 in the courtH2691 of the guardH4307, sayingH559,
“ThusH3541 saysH559 3the LordH3068 who madeH6213 4the earth, the LordH3068 who formedH3335 it to establishH3559 it, the 5LordH3068 is His nameH8034,
‘6CallH7121 to Me and I will answerH6030 you, and I will tellH5046 you 7greatH1419 and mightyH1219 thingsH1219, 8which you do not knowH3045.’
For thusH3541 saysH559 the LordH3068 GodH430 of IsraelH3478 concerningH5921 the 9housesH1004 of thisH2088 cityH5892, and concerningH5921 the housesH1004 of the kingsH4428 of JudahH3063 which are brokenH5422 downH5422 to make a defense againstH413 the 10siegeH5550 rampsH5550 and againstH413 the swordH2719,
‘While they are comingH935 to 11fightH3898 with the ChaldeansH3778 and to fillH4390 them with the corpsesH6297 of menH120 whomH834 I have slainH5221 in My angerH639 and in My wrathH2534, and I have 12hiddenH5641 My faceH6440 from thisH2088 cityH5892 becauseH5921 of allH3605 their wickednessH7463:
BeholdH2009, I will bringH5927 to it 13healthH724 and healingH4832, and I will healH7495 them; and I will revealH1540 to them an 14abundanceH6283 of peaceH7965 and truthH571.
