Jeremiah 15:1-9

1Then the LordH3068 saidH559 to me, “Even 1thoughH518 2MosesH4872 and 3SamuelH8050 were to 4standH5975 beforeH6440 Me, My 5heartH5315 would not be 6with thisH2088 peopleH5971; 7sendH7971 them awayH7971 from My presenceH6440 and let them goH3318! 2And it shall be that whenH3588 they sayH559 to you, ‘WhereH575 should we goH3318?’ then you are to tellH559 them, ‘ThusH3541 saysH559 the LordH3068: “Those destined 8for deathH4194, to deathH4194; And those destined for the swordH2719, to the swordH2719; And those destined for famineH7458, to famineH7458; And those destined for captivityH7628, to captivityH7628.”’ 3I will 9appointH6485 overH5921 them fourH702 kindsH4940 of doom,” declaresH5002 the LordH3068: “the swordH2719 to slayH2026, the 10dogsH3611 to dragH5498 off, and the 11birdsH5775 of the skyH8064 and the beastsH929 of the earthH776 to devourH398 and destroyH7843. 4I will 12makeH5414 them an objectH2113 of horrorH2113 among allH3605 the kingdomsH4467 of the earthH776 becauseH1558 of 13ManassehH4519, the sonH1121 of HezekiahH2396, the kingH4428 of JudahH3063, for whatH834 he didH6213 in JerusalemH3389.

5“IndeedH3588, whoH4310 will haveH2550 14pityH2550 on you, O JerusalemH3389, Or whoH4310 will 15mournH5110 for you, Or whoH4310 will turnH5493 asideH5493 to askH7592 about your welfareH7965?6You who have 16forsakenH5203 Me,” declaresH5002 the LordH3068, “You keep 17goingH1980 backwardH268. So I will 18stretchH5186 out My handH3027 againstH5921 you and destroyH7843 you; I am 19tiredH3811 of relentingH5162!7I will 20winnowH2219 them with a winnowingH2219 forkH4214 At the gatesH8179 of the landH776; I will 21bereaveH7921 them of childrenH7921, I will destroyH6 My peopleH5971; 22They did not 23repentH7725 of their waysH1870.8Their 24widowsH490 will be moreH4480 numerousH6105 before Me ThanH4480 the sandH2344 of the seasH3220; I will bringH935 against them, againstH5921 the motherH517 of a youngH970 manH970, A 25destroyerH7703 at noondayH6672; I will suddenlyH6597 bringH5307 downH5307 on her AnguishH5892 and dismayH928.9She who 26boreH3205 sevenH7651 sons pinesH535 awayH535; 27Her breathingH5301 is laboredH5301. Her 28sunH8121 has setH935 while it was yetH5750 dayH3119; She has beenH954 29shamedH954 and humiliatedH2659. So I will 30giveH5414 over their survivorsH7611 to the swordH2719 BeforeH6440 their enemiesH340,” declaresH5002 the LordH3068.
