1 Timothy 4:6-11
6In pointingG5294 out theseG3778 thingsG3778 to 1the brethrenG80, you will be a goodG2570 2servantG1249 of ChristG5547 JesusG2424, constantly nourishedG1789 on the wordsG3056 of the faithG4102 and of the 34soundG2570 doctrineG1319 whichG3739 you 5have been followingG3877. 7But 6haveG3868 nothingG3868 to doG3868 with 7worldlyG952 8fablesG3454 fitG1126 onlyG1126 for oldG1126 womenG1126. On the otherG1161 handG1161, disciplineG1128 yourselfG4572 for the purpose of 9godlinessG2150; 8for 10bodilyG4984 disciplineG1129 is only of littleG3641 profitG5624, but 11godlinessG2150 is profitableG5624 for allG3956 thingsG3956, since it 12holdsG2192 promiseG1860 for the 13presentG3568 lifeG2222 and also for the life to comeG3195. 914It is a trustworthyG4103 statementG3056 deservingG514 fullG3956 acceptanceG594. 10For it is for thisG3778 we laborG2872 and striveG75, becauseG3754 we have fixedG1679 15our hopeG1679 on 16the livingG2198 GodG2316, whoG3739 is 17the SaviorG4990 of allG3956 menG444, especiallyG3122 of believersG4103.
