7and shoutingκράξαςkraxasG2896with a loudμεγάλῃmegalēG3173voiceφωνῇphōnēaG5456,he saidλέγει·legeiG3004, “WhatτίtiG5101business do we have with each other, JesusἸησοῦ,IēsouG2424,SonυἱὲhuieG5207ofthe Mostὑψίστου;hupsistouG5310HighG5310GodθεοῦtheouG2316?I imploreὁρκίζωhorkizōG3726You by Godθεόν,theonG2316,do not tormentβασανίσῃς.basanisēsG928me!”

8For He had been sayingἔλεγενelegenG3004to him,“ComeἔξελθεexeltheG1831out of the manἀνθρώπου.¶anthrōpouG444,you uncleanἀκάθαρτονakathartonG169spiritπνεῦμαpneumaG4151!”

9And He was askingἐπηρώταepērōtaG1905him,“WhatτίtiG5101is your nameὄνομάonomaG3686?”And he saidλέγειlegeiG3004to Him, “My nameὄνομάonomaG3686isLegionλεγιὼνlegiōnG3003;for we are manyπολλοίpolloiG4183.”

10And he beganto imploreπαρεκάλειparekaleiG3870Him earnestlyπολλὰpollaG4183not to sendἀποστείλῃaposteilēG649them out of the countryχώρας.chōrasG5561.

11NowδὲdeG1161there was a largeμεγάληmegalēG3173herdἀγέληagelēG34of swineχοίρωνchoirōnG5519feedingβοσκομένη·boskomenēG1006nearbyἐκεῖekeiG1563on the mountainὄρειoreiG3735.

12The demonsimploredπαρεκάλεσανparekalesanG3870Him, sayingλέγοντες·legontesG3004, “SendπέμψονpempsonG3992us into the swineχοίρουςchoirousG5519soἵναinaG2443that we may enterεἰσέλθωμεν.eiselthōmenG1525them.”

13Jesus gaveG2010them permissionG2010.And comingἐξελθόνταexelthontaG1831out, the uncleanἀκάθαρταakathartaG169spiritsπνεύματαpneumataG4151enteredεἰσῆλθονeisēlthonG1525the swineχοίρους,choirousG5519;and the herdἀγέληagelēG34rushedὥρμησενhōrmēsenG3729downκατὰkataG2596the steepκρημνοῦkrēmnouG2911bankG2911into the seaθάλασσανthalassanG2281,aboutὡςhōsG5613twoG1367thousandG1367of them;and they were drownedἐπνίγοντοepnigontoG4155in the seaθαλάσσῃ.thalassēG2281.
