67and seeingG3708PeterΠέτρονPetronG4074warmingθερμαινόμενον,thermainomenonG2328himself, she lookedἐμβλέψασαemblepsasaG1689at him and saidλέγει·legeiG3004, “You alsoG2532were with JesusἸησοῦ.IēsouG2424theNazareneΝαζαρηνοῦNazarēnouG3479.”

68But he deniedἠρνήσατοērnēsatoG720it,sayingλέγων·legōnG3004, “I neitherοὔτεouteG3777knowG3609norοὔτεouteG3777understandἐπίσταμαιepistamaiG1987whatτίtiG5101you are talkingλέγεις.legeisG3004about.” And hewentἐξῆλθενexēlthenG1831out ontoεἰςeisG1519theporchπροαύλιον,proaulionG4259.

69The servant-girlπαιδίσκηpaidiskēG3814sawG3708him, and beganἤρξατοērxatoG757onceG3825moreG3825to sayλέγεινlegeinG3004to the bystandersπαρεστῶσινparestōsinG3936, “ThisοὗτοςhoutosG3778is one of them!”

70But againπάλινpalinG3825he deniedἠρνεῖτο.ērneitoG720it. And afterμετὰmetaG3326a littleμικρὸνmikronG3398whileG3398the bystandersπαρεστῶτεςparestōtesG3936were againπάλινpalinG3825sayingἔλεγονelegonG3004to PeterΠέτρῳ·PetrōG4074, “SurelyἀληθῶςalēthōsG230you are one of them,for you are a GalileanΓαλιλαῖοςGalilaiosG1057tooG2532.”

71But he beganἤρξατοērxatoG757tocurseἀναθεματίζεινanathematizeinG332and swearὀμνύναιomnunaiG3660, “I do not knowG3609thisτοῦτονtoutonG3778manἄνθρωπονanthrōponG444you are talkingλέγετε.legeteG3004about!”

72ImmediatelyG2117a roosterἀλέκτωρalektōrG220crowedἐφώνησεν,ephōnēsenG5455a secondδευτέρουdeuterouG1208timeG1208.And PeterΠέτροςPetrosG4074rememberedἀνεμνήσθηanemnēsthēG363howὡςhōsG5613JesusἸησοῦςIēsousG2424had madeG3004the remarkῥῆμαrhēmaG4487to him,“BeforeπρὶνprinG4250a roosterἀλέκτοραalektoraG220crowsφωνῆσαιphōnēsaiG5455twiceδίς,disG1364,you will denyἀπαρνήσῃ.aparnēsēG533Me threeG5151timesG5151.”And he began to weepἔκλαιεν.¶eklaienG2799.
