12He hadH2492a dreamוַֽיַּחֲלֹ֗םvai.ya.cha.LomH2492,and beholdוְהִנֵּ֤הve.hi.NehH2009,a ladderסֻלָּם֙su.LamH5551was setמֻצָּ֣בmu.TzavH5324on the earthאַ֔רְצָה'Ar.tzahH776with its topוְרֹאשׁ֖וֹve.ro.ShoH7218reachingמַגִּ֣יעַma.Gi.a'H5060to heavenהַשָּׁמָ֑יְמָהha.sha.Ma.ye.mahH8064;and beholdוְהִנֵּה֙ve.hi.NehH2009,the angelsמַלְאֲכֵ֣יmal.'a.KheiH4397of Godאֱלֹהִ֔ים'E.lo.HimH430were ascendingעֹלִ֥ים'o.LimH5927and descendingוְיֹרְדִ֖יםve.yo.re.DimH3381on it.
13And beholdוְהִנֵּ֨הve.hi.NehH2009,the Lordיְהוָ֜הYah.wehH3068stoodנִצָּ֣בni.TzavH5324aboveH5921it and saidוַיֹּאמַר֒vai.yo.MarH559, “I am the Lordיְהוָ֗הYah.wehH3068,the Godאֱלֹהֵי֙'e.lo.HeiH430of your fatherאָבִ֔יךָ'a.Vi.khaH1Abrahamאַבְרָהָ֣ם'av.ra.HamH85and the Godוֵאלֹהֵ֖יve.lo.HeiH430of Isaacיִצְחָ֑קyitz.ChakH3327;the landהָאָ֗רֶץha.'A.retzH776on whichאֲשֶׁ֤ר'a.SherH834you lieשֹׁכֵ֣בsho.KhevH7901,I will giveאֶתְּנֶ֖נָּה'et.te.Ne.nahH5414it to you and to yourdescendantsוּלְזַרְעֶֽךָ׃u.le.zar.'E.khaH2233.
14Yourdescendantsזַרְעֲךָ֙zar.'a.KhaH2233will also be likethe dustכַּעֲפַ֣רka.'a.FarH6083of the earthהָאָ֔רֶץha.'A.retzH776, and you willspreadוּפָרַצְתָּ֛u.fa.ratz.TaH6555outto the westיָ֥מָּהYa.mahH3220and to the eastוָקֵ֖דְמָהva.Ke.de.mahH6924and to the northוְצָפֹ֣נָהve.tza.Fo.nahH6828and to the southוָנֶ֑גְבָּהva.Neg.bahH5045; and in you and in yourdescendantsוּבְזַרְעֶֽךָ׃u.ve.zar.'E.khaH2233shall allכָּל־kol-H3605the familiesמִשְׁפְּחֹ֥תmish.pe.ChotH4940of the earthהָאֲדָמָ֖הha.'a.da.MahH127be blessedוְנִבְרֲכ֥וּve.niv.ra.KhuH1288.
15Beholdוְהִנֵּ֨הve.hi.NehH2009, I am with you andwill keepוּשְׁמַרְתִּ֙יךָ֙u.she.mar.Ti.khaH8104you whereverבְּכֹ֣ל אֲשֶׁר־be.Khol 'a.Sher-H3605H834you goתֵּלֵ֔ךְte.LekhH1980, andwill bringוַהֲשִׁ֣בֹתִ֔יךָva.ha.Shi.vo.Ti.khaH7725you backH7725to thisH2088landהָאֲדָמָ֖הha.'a.da.MahH127; forI will not leaveאֶֽעֱזָבְךָ֔'e.'e.za.ve.KhaH5800you untilעַ֚ד אֲשֶׁ֣ר'ad 'a.SherH5704H834I have doneעָשִׂ֔יתִי'a.Si.tiH6213whatאֲשֶׁר־'a.Sher-H834I havepromisedדִּבַּ֖רְתִּיdi.Bar.tiH1696you.”
