36Moreover, the Lordיְהוָה֙Yah.wehH3068saidוַיֹּ֤אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559to me, “Sonבֶּן־ben-H1121of manאָדָ֕ם'a.DamH120, will youjudgeהֲתִשְׁפּ֥וֹטha.tish.PotH8199Oholahאָהֳלָ֖ה'o.ho.LahH170and Oholibahאָהֳלִיבָ֑ה'o.ho.li.VahH172? Thendeclareוְהַגֵּ֣דve.ha.GedH5046to them their abominationsתוֹעֲבוֹתֵיהֶֽן׃to.'a.vo.tei.HenH8441.

37For they have committedH5003adulteryנִאֵ֗פוּni.'E.fuH5003,and bloodוְדָם֙ve.DamH1818is on their handsבִּֽידֵיהֶ֔ןbi.dei.HenH3027.Thus they have committedH5003adulteryנִאֵ֑פוּni.'E.fuH5003with their idolsגִּלּֽוּלֵיהֶ֖ןgi.lu.lei.HenH1544and evenוְגַ֤םve.GamH1571caused their sonsבְּנֵיהֶן֙be.nei.HenH1121,whomאֲשֶׁ֣ר'a.SherH834they boreיָֽלְדוּ־yal.du-H3205to Me, to passהֶעֱבִ֥ירוּhe.'e.Vi.ruH5674throughH5674the fire tothem as foodלְאָכְלָֽה׃le.'okh.LahH402.

38Againע֥וֹדodH5750,they have doneעָ֣שׂוּ'A.suH6213thisH2088to Me: they havedefiledטִמְּא֤וּti.me.'UH2930My sanctuaryמִקְדָּשִׁי֙mik.da.ShiH4720on the sameהַה֔וּאha.Hu'H1931dayבַּיּ֣וֹםbai.YomH3117and haveprofanedחִלֵּֽלוּ׃chi.Le.luH2490My sabbathsשַׁבְּתוֹתַ֖יsha.be.to.TaiH7676.

39For when they had slaughteredוּֽבְשַׁחֲטָ֤םu.ve.sha.cha.TamH7819their childrenבְּנֵיהֶם֙be.nei.HemH1121for their idolsלְגִלּ֣וּלֵיהֶ֔םle.gi.Lu.lei.HemH1544,they enteredוַיָּבֹ֧אוּvai.ya.Vo.'uH935Mysanctuaryמִקְדָּשִׁ֛יmik.da.ShiH4720on the sameהַה֖וּאha.Hu'H1931dayבַּיּ֥וֹםbai.YomH3117to profaneלְחַלְּל֑וֹle.cha.le.LoH2490it; and loוְהִנֵּה־ve.hi.neh-H2009,thusכֹ֥הkhohH3541they didעָשׂ֖וּ'a.SuH6213withinבְּת֥וֹךְbe.TokhH8432My houseבֵּיתִֽי׃bei.TiH1004.

40“Furthermoreוְאַ֗ףve.'AfH637,they have evenכִּ֤יkiH3588sentתִשְׁלַ֙חְנָה֙tish.Lach.nahH7971for menH376who comeבָּאִ֖יםba.'ImH935from afarמִמֶּרְחָ֑קmi.mer.ChakH4801,to whomאֲשֶׁ֨ר'a.SherH834a messengerמַלְאָ֜ךְmal.'AkhH4397was sentשָׁל֤וּחַsha.Lu.achH7971;and loוְהִנֵּה־ve.hi.neh-H2009,they cameבָ֔אוּVa.'uH935--for whomלַאֲשֶׁ֥רla.'a.SherH834you bathedרָחַ֛צְתְּra.ChatztH7364,paintedכָּחַ֥לְתְּka.ChaltH3583your eyesעֵינַ֖יִךְ'ei.Na.yikhH5869anddecoratedH5710yourselvesH5710with ornamentsעֶֽדִי׃'E.diH5716;

41and you satוְיָשַׁבְתְּ֙ve.ya.shavTH3427on a splendidH3519couchמִטָּ֣הmi.TahH4296with atableוְשֻׁלְחָ֥ןve.shul.ChanH7979arrangedעָר֖וּךְ'a.RukhH6186beforeלְפָנֶ֑יהָle.fa.Nei.haH6440it on which you had setשַׂ֥מְתְּsamtH7760Myincenseוּקְטָרְתִּ֥יu.ke.ta.re.TiH7004and Myoilוְשַׁמְנִ֖יve.sham.NiH8081.

42The soundוְק֣וֹלve.KolH6963of acarefreeשָׁלֵ֣וsha.LevH7961multitudeהָמוֹן֮ha.mOnH1995was with her; anddrunkardsH5433were broughtמוּבָאִ֥יםmu.va.'ImH935from the wildernessמִמִּדְבָּ֑רmi.mid.BarH4057with menH376of thecommonH7230 H120sortH7230 H120.And they putוַֽיִּתְּנ֤וּvai.yi.te.NuH5414braceletsצְמִידִים֙tze.mi.DimH6781onthe handsיְדֵיהֶ֔ןye.dei.HenH3027of the women and beautifulתִּפְאֶ֖רֶתtif.'E.retH8597crownsוַעֲטֶ֥רֶתva.'a.Te.retH5850on their headsרָאשֵׁיהֶֽן׃ra.shei.HenH7218.

43“Then I saidוָאֹמַ֕רva.'o.MarH559concerning her who waswornלַבָּלָ֖הla.ba.LahH1087out by adulteriesנִֽאוּפִ֑יםni.'u.FimH5004, ‘Will they nowעַתָּ֛הa.taH6258commitH2181adulteryH2181with her when she is thus?’

44But they wentוַיָּב֣וֹאvai.ya.Vo'H935in to her as they would goכְּב֖וֹאke.Vo'H935in to a harlotזוֹנָ֑הzo.NahH2181.Thusכֵּ֣ןkenH3651they wentבָּ֗אוּBa.'uH935in to Oholahאָֽהֳלָה֙'o.ho.LahH170and to Oholibahאָ֣הֳלִיבָ֔ה'o.ho.li.VahH172,the lewdהַזִּמָּֽה׃ha.zi.MahH2154womenH802.

45But they, righteousצַדִּיקִ֗םtza.di.KimH6662menH376, willjudgeיִשְׁפְּט֣וּyish.pe.TuH8199them with the judgmentמִשְׁפַּט֙mish.PatH4941of adulteressesנֹֽאֲפ֔וֹתno.'a.FotH5003and with the judgmentוּמִשְׁפַּ֖טu.mish.PatH4941of women who shedשֹׁפְכ֣וֹתsho.fe.KhotH8210bloodדָּ֑םDamH1818,becauseכִּ֤יkiH3588they are adulteressesנֹֽאֲפֹת֙no.'a.FotH5003and bloodוְדָ֖םve.DamH1818is on their handsבִּֽידֵיהֶֽן׃ סBi.dei.HenH3027.

46“For thusכֹּ֥הkohH3541saysאָמַ֖ר'a.MarH559the Lordאֲדֹנָ֣י'a.do.NaiH136 GodH3068, ‘Bringהַעֲלֵ֤הha.'a.LehH5927up a companyקָהָ֔לka.HalH6951againstעֲלֵיהֶם֙'a.lei.HemH5921them and giveוְנָתֹ֥ןve.na.TonH5414them over toterrorH2113and plunderוְלָבַֽז׃ve.la.VazH957.

47The companyקָהָ֔לka.HalH6951willstoneוְרָגְמ֨וּve.ra.ge.MuH7275them with stonesאֶ֙בֶן֙'e.venH68and cutוּבָרֵ֥אu.va.Re'H1254them downH1254with their swordsבְּחַרְבוֹתָ֑םbe.char.vo.TamH2719;they will slayיַהֲרֹ֔גוּya.ha.Ro.guH2026their sonsבְּנֵיהֶ֤םbe.nei.HemH1121and their daughtersוּבְנֽוֹתֵיהֶם֙u.ve.no.tei.HemH1323andburnיִשְׂרֹֽפוּ׃yis.Ro.fuH8313their housesוּבָתֵּיהֶ֖ןu.va.tei.HenH1004with fireבָּאֵ֥שׁba.'EshH784.

48Thus I will make lewdnessזִמָּ֖הzi.MahH2154ceaseוְהִשְׁבַּתִּ֥יve.hish.ba.TiH7673from the landהָאָ֑רֶץha.'A.retzH776,that allכָּל־kol-H3605womenהַנָּשִׁ֔יםha.na.ShimH802may be admonishedוְנִֽוַּסְּרוּ֙ve.ni.va.se.RuH3256and not commitתַעֲשֶׂ֖ינָהta.'a.Sei.nahH6213lewdnessכְּזִמַּתְכֶֽנָה׃ke.zi.mat.Khe.nahH2154as you have done.

49Your lewdnessזִמַּתְכֶ֙נָה֙zi.mat.Khe.nahH2154will berequitedוְנָתְנ֤וּve.na.te.NuH5414upon you, and you will bearתִּשֶּׂ֑אינָהti.Se.nahH5375the penaltyוַחֲטָאֵ֥יva.cha.ta.'EiH2399of worshipingyour idolsגִלּוּלֵיכֶ֖ןgi.lu.lei.KhenH1544;thus you will knowוִידַעְתֶּ֕םvi.da'.TemH3045that I am the Lordאֲדֹנָ֥י'a.do.NaiH136 GodH3068.’”
