1“As for you, sonבֶן־ven-H1121of manאָדָ֜ם'a.DamH120,takeקַח־kach-H3947asharpחַדָּ֗הcha.DahH2299swordחֶ֣רֶבChe.revH2719;takeתִּקָּחֶ֣נָּהti.ka.Che.nahH3947anduseוְהַעֲבַרְתָּ֥ve.ha.'a.var.TaH5674it asa barber’sהַגַּלָּבִים֙ha.ga.la.VimH1532razorתַּ֤עַרTa.'arH8593on your headרֹאשְׁךָ֖ro.she.KhaH7218and beardזְקָנֶ֑ךָze.ka.Ne.chaH2206.Then takeוְלָקַחְתָּ֥ve.la.kach.TaH3947scalesמֹאזְנֵ֥יmoz.NeiH3976for weighingמִשְׁקָ֖לmish.KalH4948and divideוְחִלַּקְתָּֽם׃ve.chi.lak.TamH2505the hair.

2OneH7992thirdשְׁלִשִׁ֗יתshe.li.ShitH7992you shall burnתַּבְעִיר֙tav.'IrH1197in the fireבָּא֤וּרba.'UrH217at the centerבְּת֣וֹךְbe.TokhH8432of the cityהָעִ֔ירha.'IrH5892, when thedaysיְמֵ֣יye.MeiH3117of the siegeהַמָּצ֑וֹרha.ma.TzorH4692are completedכִּמְלֹ֖אתkim.LotH4390.Then you shall takeוְלָֽקַחְתָּ֣ve.la.kach.TaH3947oneH7992thirdהַשְּׁלִשִׁ֗יתha.she.li.ShitH7992and strikeתַּכֶּ֤הta.KehH5221itwith the swordבַחֶ֙רֶב֙va.Che.revH2719allH5439aroundH5439the city, and oneH7992thirdוְהַשְּׁלִשִׁית֙ve.ha.she.li.ShitH7992you shall scatterתִּזְרֶ֣הtiz.RehH2219to the windלָר֔וּחַla.Ru.achH7307; and I willunsheatheH7385a swordוְחֶ֖רֶבve.Che.revH2719behindאַחֲרֵיהֶֽם׃'a.cha.rei.HemH310them.

3Takeוְלָקַחְתָּ֥ve.la.kach.TaH3947also a fewמְעַ֣טme.'AtH4592in numberבְּמִסְפָּ֑רbe.mis.ParH4557fromthem and bindוְצַרְתָּ֥ve.tzar.TaH6696them in the edgesבִּכְנָפֶֽיךָ׃bikh.na.Fei.khaH3671of your robes.

4Takeתִּקָּ֔חti.KachH3947againע֣וֹדodH5750someמִמֶּ֥נּוּmi.Me.nuH4480of them and throwוְהִשְׁלַכְתָּ֤ve.hish.lakh.TaH7993them into the fireהָאֵ֔שׁha.'EshH784and burnוְשָׂרַפְתָּ֥ve.sa.raf.TaH8313them in the fireבָּאֵ֑שׁba.'EshH784;from it a fireאֵ֖שׁ'eshH784willspreadתֵצֵא־te.tze'-H3318to allכָּל־kol-H3605the houseבֵּ֥יתbeitH1004of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ פYis.ra.'ElH3478.

5“Thusכֹּ֤הkohH3541saysאָמַר֙'a.MarH559the Lordאֲדֹנָ֣י'a.do.NaiH136GodH3068, ‘ThisH2088isJerusalemיְר֣וּשָׁלִַ֔םye.Ru.sha.LimH3389;I have setשַׂמְתִּ֑יהָsam.Ti.haH7760her at thecenterבְּת֥וֹךְbe.TokhH8432of the nationsהַגּוֹיִ֖םha.go.YimH1471,with landsאֲרָצֽוֹת׃'a.ra.TzotH776aroundוּסְבִיבוֹתֶ֖יהָu.se.vi.vo.Tei.haH5439her.

6But she has rebelledוַתֶּ֨מֶרva.Te.merH4784againstH854My ordinancesמִשְׁפָּטַ֤יmish.pa.TaiH4941moreמִן־min-H4480wickedlyלְרִשְׁעָה֙le.rish.'AhH7564thanH4480the nationsהַגּוֹיִ֔םha.go.YimH1471and againstH854My statutesחֻקּוֹתַ֔יchu.ko.TaiH2708moreמִן־min-H4480thanH4480the landsהָאֲרָצ֖וֹתha.'a.ra.TzotH776whichאֲשֶׁ֣ר'a.SherH834surroundסְבִיבוֹתֶ֑יהָse.vi.vo.Tei.haH5439her; for they haverejectedמָאָ֔סוּma.'A.suH3988My ordinancesבְמִשְׁפָּטַי֙ve.mish.pa.TaiH4941and have not walkedהָלְכ֥וּha.le.KhuH1980in My statutesוְחֻקּוֹתַ֖יve.chu.ko.TaiH2708.’

7Thereforeלָכֵ֞ןla.KhenH3651,thusכֹּֽה־koh-H3541saysאָמַ֣ר׀'a.MarH559the Lordאֲדֹנָ֣י'a.do.NaiH136 GodH3068, ‘Becauseיַ֤עַןYa.'anH3282you havemoreמִן־min-H4480turmoilH2001thanH4480the nationsהַגּוֹיִם֙ha.go.YimH1471whichאֲשֶׁ֣ר'a.SherH834surroundסְבִיבֽוֹתֵיכֶ֔םse.vi.vo.tei.KhemH5439you andhave not walkedהֲלַכְתֶּ֔םha.lakh.TemH1980in My statutesבְּחֻקּוֹתַי֙be.chu.ko.TaiH2708,norH3808observedעֲשִׂיתֶ֑ם'a.si.TemH6213My ordinancesמִשְׁפָּטַ֖יmish.pa.TaiH4941,norH3808observedעֲשִׂיתֶֽם׃ ס'a.si.TemH6213the ordinancesוּֽכְמִשְׁפְּטֵ֧יu.khe.mish.pe.TeiH4941of the nationsהַגּוֹיִ֛םha.go.YimH1471whichאֲשֶׁ֥ר'a.SherH834surroundסְבִיבוֹתֵיכֶ֖םse.vi.vo.tei.KhemH5439you,’

8thereforeלָכֵ֗ןla.KhenH3651,thusכֹּ֤הkohH3541saysאָמַר֙'a.MarH559the Lordאֲדֹנָ֣י'a.do.NaiH136 GodH3068, ‘BeholdH2009,I, evenגַּם־gam-H1571I, amagainstעָלַ֖יִךְ'a.La.yikhH5921you, and I willexecuteוְעָשִׂ֧יתִיve.'a.Si.tiH6213judgmentsמִשְׁפָּטִ֖יםmish.pa.TimH4941amongבְתוֹכֵ֛ךְve.to.KhekhH8432you in the sightלְעֵינֵ֥יle.'ei.NeiH5869of the nationsהַגּוֹיִֽם׃ha.go.YimH1471.

9And becauseיַ֖עַןYa.'anH3282of allכָּל־kol-H3605your abominationsתּוֹעֲבֹתָֽיִךְ׃ סto.'a.vo.Ta.yikhH8441,I will doוְעָשִׂ֣יתִיve.'a.Si.tiH6213among you whatאֲשֶׁ֣ר'a.SherH834I havenot doneעָשִׂ֔יתִי'a.Si.tiH6213,and the likeכָמֹ֖הוּkha.Mo.huH3644of whichאֲשֶֽׁר־'a.Sher-H834I will neverH3808doאֶעֱשֶׂ֥ה'e.'e.SehH6213againע֑וֹדodH5750.

10Thereforeלָכֵ֗ןla.KhenH3651,fathersאָב֞וֹת'a.VotH1will eatיֹאכְל֤וּyo.khe.LuH398theirsonsבָנִים֙va.NimH1121amongבְּתוֹכֵ֔ךְbe.to.KhekhH8432you, and sonsוּבָנִ֖יםu.va.NimH1121will eatיֹאכְל֣וּyo.khe.LuH398their fathersאֲבוֹתָ֑ם'a.vo.TamH1;for I will executeוְעָשִׂ֤יתִיve.'a.Si.tiH6213judgmentsשְׁפָטִ֔יםshe.fa.TimH8201on you andscatterוְזֵרִיתִ֥יve.ze.ri.TiH2219allכָּל־kol-H3605your remnantשְׁאֵרִיתֵ֖ךְshe.'e.ri.TekhH7611to everyלְכָל־le.kholH3605windרֽוּחַ׃ פRu.achH7307.

11Soלָכֵ֣ןla.KhenH3651as I liveחַי־chai-H2416,’declaresנְאֻם֮ne.'UmH5002the Lordאֲדֹנָ֣י'a.do.NaiH136 GodH3068, ‘surelyאִם־'im-H518 H3808,becauseיַ֚עַןYa.'anH3282you havedefiledטִמֵּ֔אתti.MetH2930My sanctuaryמִקְדָּשִׁ֣יmik.da.ShiH4720with allבְּכָל־be.kholH3605yourdetestableשִׁקּוּצַ֖יִךְshi.ku.Tza.yikhH8251idolsH8251and with allוּבְכָל־u.ve.Khol-H3605your abominationsתּוֹעֲבֹתָ֑יִךְto.'a.vo.Ta.yikhH8441,therefore I will alsoH1571withdrawאֶגְרַע֙'eg.Ra'H1639,and My eyeעֵינִ֔י'ei.NiH5869will haveH2347noH3808pityH2347and I will not spareאֶחְמֽוֹל׃'ech.MolH2550.

12OneH7992thirdשְׁלִשִׁתֵ֞יךְshe.li.shi.TeikhH7992of you will dieיָמ֗וּתוּya.Mu.tuH4191byplagueבַּדֶּ֣בֶרba.De.verH1698or be consumedיִכְל֣וּyikh.LuH3615by famineוּבָֽרָעָב֙u.va.ra.'AvH7458amongבְתוֹכֵ֔ךְve.to.KhekhH8432you, oneH7992thirdוְהַ֨שְּׁלִשִׁ֔יתve.Ha.she.li.ShitH7992will fallיִפְּל֣וּyi.pe.LuH5307by the swordבַּחֶ֖רֶבba.Che.revH2719aroundסְבִיבוֹתָ֑יִךְse.vi.vo.Ta.yikhH5439you, and oneH7992thirdוְהַשְּׁלִישִׁית֙ve.ha.she.li.ShitH7992I willscatterאֱזָרֶ֔ה'e.za.RehH2219to everyלְכָל־le.kholH3605windר֣וּחַRu.achH7307, and I willunsheatheH7385a swordוְחֶ֖רֶבve.Che.revH2719behindאַחֲרֵיהֶֽם׃'a.cha.rei.HemH310them.

13‘Thus My angerאַפִּ֗י'a.PiH639will be spentוְכָלָ֣הve.kha.LahH3615and I willsatisfyוַהֲנִחוֹתִ֧יva.ha.ni.cho.TiH5117My wrathחֲמָתִ֛יcha.ma.TiH2534on them, and I will beappeasedוְהִנֶּחָ֑מְתִּיve.hi.ne.Cha.me.tiH5162;then they will knowוְֽיָדְע֞וּve.ya.de.'UH3045that I, the Lordיְהוָ֗הYah.wehH3068, havespokenדִּבַּ֙רְתִּי֙di.Bar.tiH1696in My zealבְּקִנְאָתִ֔יbe.kin.'a.TiH7068when I have spentבְּכַלּוֹתִ֥יbe.kha.lo.TiH3615My wrathחֲמָתִ֖יcha.ma.TiH2534upon them.

14Moreover, I will makeוְאֶתְּנֵךְ֙ve.'e.te.neKhH5414you a desolationלְחָרְבָּ֣הle.cha.re.BahH2723and areproachוּלְחֶרְפָּ֔הu.le.cher.PahH2781among the nationsבַּגּוֹיִ֖םba.go.YimH1471whichאֲשֶׁ֣ר'a.SherH834surroundסְבִיבוֹתָ֑יִךְse.vi.vo.Ta.yikhH5439you, in the sightלְעֵינֵ֖יle.'ei.NeiH5869of allכָּל־kol-H3605who passעוֹבֵֽר׃o.VerH5674by.

15Soit will be a reproachחֶרְפָּ֤הcher.PahH2781,a revilingוּגְדוּפָה֙u.ge.du.FahH1422, awarningמוּסָ֣רmu.SarH4148and an objectH4923of horrorH4923to the nationsלַגּוֹיִ֖םla.go.YimH1471whoאֲשֶׁ֣ר'a.SherH834surroundסְבִיבוֹתָ֑יִךְse.vi.vo.Ta.yikhH5439you when Iexecuteבַּעֲשׂוֹתִי֩ba.'a.so.TiH6213judgmentsשְׁפָטִ֜יםshe.fa.TimH8201against you in angerבְּאַ֤ףbe.'AfH639,wrathוּבְחֵמָה֙u.ve.che.MahH2534and ragingחֵמָ֔הche.MahH2534rebukesוּבְתֹכְח֣וֹתu.ve.to.khe.ChotH8433.I, the Lordיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068,have spokenדִּבַּֽרְתִּי׃di.Bar.tiH1696.

16When I sendבְּֽשַׁלְּחִ֡יbe.sha.le.ChiH7971against them thedeadlyהָרָעִ֤יםha.ra.'ImH7451arrowsחִצֵּי֩chi.TzeiH2671of famineהָרָעָ֨בha.ra.'AvH7458whichאֲשֶׁ֣ר'a.SherH834were for the destructionH7843of those whomאֲשֶׁר־'a.Sher-H834I will sendאֲשַׁלַּ֥ח'a.sha.LachH7971to destroyלְשַֽׁחֶתְכֶ֑םle.sha.chet.KhemH7843you, then I will also intensifyאֹסֵ֣ף'o.SefH3254the famineוְרָעָב֙ve.ra.'AvH7458upon you and breakוְשָׁבַרְתִּ֥יve.sha.var.TiH7665the staffמַטֵּה־ma.teh-H4294of breadלָֽחֶם׃La.chemH3899.

17Moreover,I will sendוְשִׁלַּחְתִּ֣יve.shi.lach.TiH7971on you famineרָעָ֞בra.'AvH7458and wildרָעָה֙ra.'AhH7451beastsH2421,and they will bereaveH7921you of childrenH7921;plagueוְדֶ֥בֶרve.De.verH1698and bloodshedוָדָ֖םva.DamH1818also will passיַעֲבָר־ya.'a.vor-H5674through you, and I will bringאָבִ֣יא'a.Vi'H935the swordוְחֶ֙רֶב֙ve.Che.revH2719on you. I, the Lordיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068,have spokenדִּבַּֽרְתִּי׃ פdi.Bar.tiH1696.’”
