36The Lordיְהוָה֙Yah.wehH3068saidוַיֹּ֤אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559moreover unto me; Sonבֶּן־ben-H1121of manאָדָ֕ם'a.DamH120,wilt thou judgeהֲתִשְׁפּ֥וֹטha.tish.PotH8199Aholahאָהֳלָ֖ה'o.ho.LahH170and Aholibahאָהֳלִיבָ֑ה'o.ho.li.VahH172?yea, declareוְהַגֵּ֣דve.ha.GedH5046unto them their abominationsתוֹעֲבוֹתֵיהֶֽן׃to.'a.vo.tei.HenH8441;

37That they have committed adulteryנִאֵ֗פוּni.'E.fuH5003,and bloodוְדָם֙ve.DamH1818isin their handsבִּֽידֵיהֶ֔ןbi.dei.HenH3027,and with their idolsגִּלּֽוּלֵיהֶ֖ןgi.lu.lei.HenH1544have they committed adulteryנִאֵ֑פוּni.'E.fuH5003,and have also caused their sonsבְּנֵיהֶן֙be.nei.HenH1121,whom they bareיָֽלְדוּ־yal.du-H3205unto me, to pass for them throughהֶעֱבִ֥ירוּhe.'e.Vi.ruH5674the fire,to devourלְאָכְלָֽה׃le.'okh.LahH402them.

38Moreover this they have doneעָ֣שׂוּ'A.suH6213unto me: they have defiledטִמְּא֤וּti.me.'UH2930my sanctuaryמִקְדָּשִׁי֙mik.da.ShiH4720in the same dayבַּיּ֣וֹםbai.YomH3117,and have profanedחִלֵּֽלוּ׃chi.Le.luH2490my sabbathsשַׁבְּתוֹתַ֖יsha.be.to.TaiH7676.

39For when they had slainוּֽבְשַׁחֲטָ֤םu.ve.sha.cha.TamH7819their childrenבְּנֵיהֶם֙be.nei.HemH1121to their idolsלְגִלּ֣וּלֵיהֶ֔םle.gi.Lu.lei.HemH1544,then they cameוַיָּבֹ֧אוּvai.ya.Vo.'uH935the same dayבַּיּ֥וֹםbai.YomH3117into my sanctuaryמִקְדָּשִׁ֛יmik.da.ShiH4720to profaneלְחַלְּל֑וֹle.cha.le.LoH2490it; and, lo, thus have they doneעָשׂ֖וּ'a.SuH6213in the midstבְּת֥וֹךְbe.TokhH8432of mine houseבֵּיתִֽי׃bei.TiH1004.

40And furthermoreוְאַ֗ףve.'AfH637,that ye have sentתִשְׁלַ֙חְנָה֙tish.Lach.nahH7971for menלַֽאֲנָשִׁ֔יםla.'a.na.ShimH582to comeבָּאִ֖יםba.'ImH935from farמִמֶּרְחָ֑קmi.mer.ChakH4801,unto whom a messengerמַלְאָ֜ךְmal.'AkhH4397wassentשָׁל֤וּחַsha.Lu.achH7971;and, lo, they cameבָ֔אוּVa.'uH935:for whom thou didst washרָחַ֛צְתְּra.ChatztH7364thyself, paintedstכָּחַ֥לְתְּka.ChaltH3583thy eyesעֵינַ֖יִךְ'ei.Na.yikhH5869,and deckedstוְעָ֥דִיתve.'A.ditH5710thyself with ornamentsעֶֽדִי׃'E.diH5716,

41And satestוְיָשַׁבְתְּ֙ve.ya.shavTH3427upon a statelyכְבוּדָּ֔הkhe.vu.DahH3520bedמִטָּ֣הmi.TahH4296,and a tableוְשֻׁלְחָ֥ןve.shul.ChanH7979preparedעָר֖וּךְ'a.RukhH6186beforeלְפָנֶ֑יהָle.fa.Nei.haH6440it, whereupon thou hast setשַׂ֥מְתְּsamtH7760mine incenseוּקְטָרְתִּ֥יu.ke.ta.re.TiH7004and mine oilוְשַׁמְנִ֖יve.sham.NiH8081.

42And a voiceוְק֣וֹלve.KolH6963of a multitudeהָמוֹן֮ha.mOnH1995being at easeשָׁלֵ֣וsha.LevH7961waswith her: and with the menאֲנָשִׁים֙'a.na.ShimH582of the common sortמֵרֹ֣ב אָדָ֔םme.Ro 'a.DamH120 H7230werebroughtמוּבָאִ֥יםmu.va.'ImH935Sabeansסָבָאִ֖יםsoa.'imH5433 H5436from the wildernessמִמִּדְבָּ֑רmi.mid.BarH4057,which putוַֽיִּתְּנ֤וּvai.yi.te.NuH5414braceletsצְמִידִים֙tze.mi.DimH6781upon their handsיְדֵיהֶ֔ןye.dei.HenH3027,and beautifulתִּפְאֶ֖רֶתtif.'E.retH8597crownsוַעֲטֶ֥רֶתva.'a.Te.retH5850upon their headsרָאשֵׁיהֶֽן׃ra.shei.HenH7218.

43Then saidוָאֹמַ֕רva.'o.MarH559I unto her that wasoldלַבָּלָ֖הla.ba.LahH1087in adulteriesנִֽאוּפִ֑יםni.'u.FimH5004,Will they now commitיִזְנ֥וּyiz.nuhH2181whoredomsתַזְנוּתֶ֖הָtaz.nu.Te.haH8457with her, and she with them?

44Yet they went inוַיָּב֣וֹאvai.ya.Vo'H935unto her, as they go inכְּב֖וֹאke.Vo'H935unto a womanאִשָּׁ֣ה'i.ShahH802that playeth the harlotזוֹנָ֑הzo.NahH2181:so went they inבָּ֗אוּBa.'uH935unto Aholahאָֽהֳלָה֙'o.ho.LahH170and unto Aholibahאָ֣הֳלִיבָ֔ה'o.ho.li.VahH172,the lewdהַזִּמָּֽה׃ha.zi.MahH2154womenאִשֹּׁ֖ת'i.ShotH802.

45And the righteousצַדִּיקִ֗םtza.di.KimH6662menוַאֲנָשִׁ֣יםva.'a.na.ShimH582,they shall judgeיִשְׁפְּט֣וּyish.pe.TuH8199them after the mannerמִשְׁפַּט֙mish.PatH4941of adulteressesנֹֽאֲפ֔וֹתno.'a.FotH5003,and after the mannerוּמִשְׁפַּ֖טu.mish.PatH4941of women that shedשֹׁפְכ֣וֹתsho.fe.KhotH8210bloodדָּ֑םDamH1818; because they areadulteressesנֹֽאֲפֹת֙no.'a.FotH5003,and bloodוְדָ֖םve.DamH1818isin their handsבִּֽידֵיהֶֽן׃ סBi.dei.HenH3027.

46For thus saithאָמַ֖ר'a.MarH559the Lordאֲדֹנָ֣י'a.do.NaiH136Godיְהוִ֑הYah.wehH3069;I will bring upהַעֲלֵ֤הha.'a.LehH5927a companyקָהָ֔לka.HalH6951upon them, and will giveוְנָתֹ֥ןve.na.TonH5414them to be removedלְזַעֲוָ֥הle.za.'a.VahH2189and spoiledוְלָבַֽז׃ve.la.VazH957.

47And the companyקָהָ֔לka.HalH6951shall stoneוְרָגְמ֨וּve.ra.ge.MuH7275them with stonesאֶ֙בֶן֙'e.venH68,and dispatchוּבָרֵ֥אu.va.Re'H1254them with their swordsבְּחַרְבוֹתָ֑םbe.char.vo.TamH2719;they shall slayיַהֲרֹ֔גוּya.ha.Ro.guH2026their sonsבְּנֵיהֶ֤םbe.nei.HemH1121and their daughtersוּבְנֽוֹתֵיהֶם֙u.ve.no.tei.HemH1323,and burn upיִשְׂרֹֽפוּ׃yis.Ro.fuH8313their housesוּבָתֵּיהֶ֖ןu.va.tei.HenH1004with fireבָּאֵ֥שׁba.'EshH784.

48Thus will I cause lewdnessזִמָּ֖הzi.MahH2154to ceaseוְהִשְׁבַּתִּ֥יve.hish.ba.TiH7673out of the landהָאָ֑רֶץha.'A.retzH776,that all womenהַנָּשִׁ֔יםha.na.ShimH802may be taughtוְנִֽוַּסְּרוּ֙ve.ni.va.se.RuH3256not to doתַעֲשֶׂ֖ינָהta.'a.Sei.nahH6213after your lewdnessכְּזִמַּתְכֶֽנָה׃ke.zi.mat.Khe.nahH2154.

49And they shall recompenseוְנָתְנ֤וּve.na.te.NuH5414your lewdnessזִמַּתְכֶ֙נָה֙zi.mat.Khe.nahH2154upon you, and ye shall bearתִּשֶּׂ֑אינָהti.Se.nahH5375the sinsוַחֲטָאֵ֥יva.cha.ta.'EiH2399of your idolsגִלּוּלֵיכֶ֖ןgi.lu.lei.KhenH1544:and ye shall knowוִידַעְתֶּ֕םvi.da'.TemH3045that I amthe Lordאֲדֹנָ֥י'a.do.NaiH136Godיְהוִֽה׃ פYah.wehH3069.
