4The one who saysλέγωνlegōnG3004, “I have come toknowἔγνωκαegnōkaG1097Him,” and does not keepτηρῶν,tērōnG5083His commandmentsἐντολὰςentolasG1785, is aliarψεύστηςpseustēsG5583, andthe truthἀλήθειαalētheiaG225is not in him;

5but whoeverὃς ἂνhos anG3739 G302keepsτηρῇtērēaG5083His wordλόγον,logonG3056, in him theloveἀγάπηagapēG26of GodθεοῦtheouG2316has trulyἀληθῶςalēthōsG230been perfectedτετελείωται.teteleiōtaiG5048.By thisG3778we knowγινώσκομενginōskomenG1097that we are in Him:
