2And he saidוַיֹּ֡אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559,Take nowקַח־kach-H3947thy sonבִּנְךָ֨bin.KhaH1121,thine onlyיְחִֽידְךָ֤ye.chi.de.KhaH3173sonIsaacיִצְחָ֔קyitz.ChakH3327,whom thou lovestאָהַ֙בְתָּ֙'a.Hav.taH157,and get theeH3212into the landאֶ֖רֶץ'E.retzH776of Moriahהַמֹּרִיָּ֑הha.mo.ri.YahH4179;and offer himוְהַעֲלֵ֤הוּve.ha.'a.Le.huH5927there for a burnt offeringלְעֹלָ֔הle.'o.LahH5930upon oneאַחַ֣ד'a.ChadH259of the mountainsהֶֽהָרִ֔יםhe.ha.RimH2022which I will tellאֹמַ֥ר'o.MarH559thee of.

3And Abrahamאַבְרָהָ֜ם'av.ra.HamH85rose up earlyוַיַּשְׁכֵּ֨םvai.yash.KemH7925in the morningבַּבֹּ֗קֶרba.Bo.kerH1242,and saddledוַֽיַּחֲבֹשׁ֙vai.ya.cha.VoshH2280his assחֲמֹר֔וֹcha.mo.RoH2543,and tookוַיִּקַּ֞חvai.yi.KachH3947twoשְׁנֵ֤יshe.NeiH8147of his young menנְעָרָיו֙ne.'a.RavH5288with him, and Isaacיִצְחָ֣קyitz.ChakH3327his sonבְּנ֑וֹbe.NoH1121,and claveוַיְבַקַּע֙vay.va.Ka'H1234the woodעֲצֵ֣י'a.TzeiH6086for the burnt offeringעֹלָ֔ה'o.LahH5930,and rose upוַיָּ֣קָםvai.Ya.komH6965,and wentH3212unto the placeהַמָּק֖וֹםha.ma.KomH4725of which Godהָאֱלֹהִֽים׃ha.'E.lo.HimH430had toldאָֽמַר־'a.mar-H559him.

4Then on the thirdהַשְּׁלִישִׁ֗יha.she.li.ShiH7992dayבַּיּ֣וֹםbai.YomH3117Abrahamאַבְרָהָ֧ם'av.ra.HamH85lifted upוַיִּשָּׂ֨אvai.yi.Sa'H5375his eyesעֵינָ֛יו'ei.NavH5869,and sawוַיַּ֥רְאvai.Yar'H7200the placeהַמָּק֖וֹםha.ma.KomH4725afar offמֵרָחֹֽק׃me.ra.ChokH7350.

5And Abrahamאַבְרָהָ֜ם'av.ra.HamH85saidוַיֹּ֨אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559unto his young menנְעָרָ֗יוne.'a.RavH5288,Abideשְׁבוּ־she.vu-H3427ye here with the assהַחֲמ֔וֹרha.cha.MorH2543;and I and the ladוְהַנַּ֔עַרve.ha.Na.'arH5288will goH3212yonderכֹּ֑הKohH3541and worshipוְנִֽשְׁתַּחֲוֶ֖הve.nish.ta.cha.VehH7812,and come againוְנָשׁ֥וּבָהve.na.Shu.vahH7725to you.

6And Abrahamאַבְרָהָ֜ם'av.ra.HamH85tookוַיִּקַּ֨חvai.yi.KachH3947the woodעֲצֵ֣י'a.TzeiH6086of the burnt offeringהָעֹלָ֗הha.'o.LahH5930,and laidוַיָּ֙שֶׂם֙vai.Ya.semH7760itupon Isaacיִצְחָ֣קyitz.ChakH3327his sonבְּנ֔וֹbe.NoH1121;and he tookוַיִּקַּ֣חvai.yi.KachH3947the fireהָאֵ֖שׁha.'EshH784in his handבְּיָד֔וֹbe.ya.DoH3027,and a knifeהַֽמַּאֲכֶ֑לֶתha.ma.'a.Khe.letH3979;and they wentH3212bothשְׁנֵיהֶ֖םshe.nei.HemH8147of them togetherיַחְדָּֽו׃yach.DavH3162.

7And Isaacיִצְחָ֜קyitz.ChakH3327spakeוַיֹּ֨אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559unto Abrahamאַבְרָהָ֤ם'av.ra.HamH85his fatherאָבִיו֙'a.VivH1,and saidוַיֹּ֣אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559,My fatherאָבִ֔י'a.ViH1:and he saidוַיֹּ֖אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559, Here amI, my sonבְנִ֑יve.NiH1121.And he saidוַיֹּ֗אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559,Behold the fireהָאֵשׁ֙ha.'EshH784and the woodוְהָ֣עֵצִ֔יםve.Ha.'e.TzimH6086: but where isthe lambהַשֶּׂ֖הha.SehH7716for a burnt offeringלְעֹלָֽה׃le.'o.LahH5930?

8And Abrahamאַבְרָהָ֔ם'av.ra.HamH85saidוַיֹּ֙אמֶר֙vai.Yo.merH559,My sonבְּנִ֑יbe.NiH1121,Godאֱלֹהִ֞ים'E.lo.HimH430will provideיִרְאֶה־yir.'eh-H7200himself a lambהַשֶּׂ֛הha.SehH7716for a burnt offeringלְעֹלָ֖הle.'o.LahH5930:so they wentH3212both of themשְׁנֵיהֶ֖םshe.nei.HemH8147togetherיַחְדָּֽו׃yach.DavH3162.

9And they cameוַיָּבֹ֗אוּvai.ya.Vo.'uH935to the placeהַמָּקוֹם֮ha.ma.kOmH4725which Godהָאֱלֹהִים֒ha.'E.lo.HimH430had toldאָֽמַר־'a.mar-H559him of; and Abrahamאַבְרָהָם֙'av.ra.HamH85builtוַיִּ֨בֶןvai.Yi.venH1129an altarהַמִּזְבֵּ֔חַha.miz.Be.achH4196there, and laidH6186the woodהָעֵצִ֑יםha.'e.TzimH6086in orderH6186,and boundוַֽיַּעֲקֹד֙vai.ya.'a.KodH6123Isaacיִצְחָ֣קyitz.ChakH3327his sonבְּנ֔וֹbe.NoH1121,and laidוַיָּ֤שֶׂםvai.Ya.semH7760him on the altarהַמִּזְבֵּ֔חַha.miz.Be.achH4196uponמִמַּ֖עַלmi.Ma.'alH4605the woodלָעֵצִֽים׃la.'e.TzimH6086.

10And Abrahamאַבְרָהָם֙'av.ra.HamH85stretched forthוַיִּשְׁלַ֤חvai.yish.LachH7971his handיָד֔וֹya.DoH3027,and tookוַיִּקַּ֖חvai.yi.KachH3947the knifeהַֽמַּאֲכֶ֑לֶתha.ma.'a.Khe.letH3979to slayלִשְׁחֹ֖טlish.ChotH7819his sonבְּנֽוֹ׃be.NoH1121.

11And the angelמַלְאַ֤ךְmal.'AkhH4397of the Lordיְהוָה֙Yah.wehH3068calledוַיִּקְרָ֨אvai.yik.Ra'H7121unto him out of heavenהַשָּׁמַ֔יִםha.sha.Ma.yimH8064,and saidוַיֹּ֖אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559,Abrahamאַבְרָהָ֣ם׀'av.ra.HamH85,Abrahamאַבְרָהָ֑ם'av.ra.HamH85:and he saidוַיֹּ֖אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559, Here am I.

13And Abrahamאַבְרָהָ֜ם'av.ra.HamH85lifted upוַיִּשָּׂ֨אvai.yi.Sa'H5375his eyesעֵינָ֗יו'ei.NavH5869,and lookedוַיַּרְא֙vai.yaR'H7200,and behold behindאַחַ֕ר'a.CharH310hima ramאַ֔יִל'A.yilH352caughtנֶאֱחַ֥זne.'e.ChazH270in a thicketבַּסְּבַ֖ךְba.se.VakhH5442by his hornsבְּקַרְנָ֑יוbe.kar.NavH7161:and Abrahamאַבְרָהָם֙'av.ra.HamH85wentH3212and tookוַיִּקַּ֣חvai.yi.KachH3947the ramהָאַ֔יִלha.'A.yilH352,and offered him upוַיַּעֲלֵ֥הוּvai.ya.'a.Le.huH5927for a burnt offeringלְעֹלָ֖הle.'o.LahH5930in the steadתַּ֥חַתTa.chatH8478of his sonבְּנֽוֹ׃be.NoH1121.

14And Abrahamאַבְרָהָ֛ם'av.ra.HamH85calledוַיִּקְרָ֧אvai.yik.Ra'H7121the nameשֵֽׁם־shem-H8034of that placeהַמָּק֥וֹםha.ma.KomH4725Jehovah–jirehH3070:asאֲשֶׁר֙'a.SherH834it is saidיֵאָמֵ֣רye.'a.MerH559tothis dayהַיּ֔וֹםhai.YomH3117,In the mountבְּהַ֥רbe.HarH2022of the LordH3068it shall be seenH7200.

15And the angelמַלְאַ֥ךְmal.'AkhH4397of the Lordיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068calledוַיִּקְרָ֛אvai.yik.Ra'H7121unto Abrahamאַבְרָהָ֑ם'av.ra.HamH85out of heavenהַשָּׁמָֽיִם׃ha.sha.Ma.yimH8064the second timeשֵׁנִ֖יתshe.NitH8145,

16And saidוַיֹּ֕אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559,By myself have I swornנִשְׁבַּ֖עְתִּיnish.Ba'.tiH7650,saithנְאֻם־ne.'um-H5002the Lordיְהוָ֑הYah.wehH3068,for becauseיַ֚עַן אֲשֶׁ֤רYa.'an 'a.SherH834 H3282thou hast doneעָשִׂ֙יתָ֙'a.Si.taH6213this thingהַדָּבָ֣רha.da.VarH1697,and hast notוְלֹ֥אve.Lo'H3808withheldחָשַׂ֖כְתָּcha.Sakh.taH2820thy sonבִּנְךָ֥bin.KhaH1121,thine onlyיְחִידֶֽךָ׃ye.chi.De.khaH3173son:

19So Abrahamאַבְרָהָם֙'av.ra.HamH85returnedוַיָּ֤שָׁבvai.Ya.shovH7725unto his young menנְעָרָ֔יוne.'a.RavH5288,and they rose upוַיָּקֻ֛מוּvai.ya.Ku.muH6965and wentH3212togetherיַחְדָּ֖וyach.DavH3162to Beer–shebaH884;and Abrahamאַבְרָהָ֖ם'av.ra.HamH85dweltוַיֵּ֥שֶׁבvai.Ye.shevH3427at Beer–shebaH884.
