1And Godאֱלֹהִים֙'E.lo.HimH430rememberedוַיִּזְכֹּ֤רvai.yiz.KorH2142Noahנֹ֔חַNo.achH5146,and every living thingהַֽחַיָּה֙ha.chai.YahH2416,and all the cattleהַבְּהֵמָ֔הha.be.he.MahH929that waswith him in the arkבַּתֵּבָ֑הba.te.VahH8392:and Godאֱלֹהִ֥ים'E.lo.HimH430madeH5674a windר֙וּחַ֙Ru.achH7307to passוַיַּעֲבֵ֨רvai.ya.'a.VerH5674overעַל־'al-H5921the earthהָאָ֔רֶץha.'A.retzH776,and the watersהַמָּֽיִם׃ha.Ma.yimH4325asswagedוַיָּשֹׁ֖כּוּvai.ya.Sho.kuH7918;

2The fountainsמַעְיְנֹ֣תma'.ye.NotH4599also of the deepתְּה֔וֹםte.HomH8415and the windowsוַֽאֲרֻבֹּ֖תva.'a.ru.BotH699of heavenהַשָּׁמָ֑יִםha.sha.Ma.yimH8064were stoppedוַיִּסָּֽכְרוּ֙vai.yi.sa.khe.RuH5534,and the rainהַגֶּ֖שֶׁםha.Ge.shemH1653from heavenהַשָּׁמָֽיִם׃ha.sha.Ma.yimH8064was restrainedוַיִּכָּלֵ֥אvai.yi.ka.Le'H3607;

3And the watersהַמַּ֛יִםha.Ma.yimH4325returnedוַיָּשֻׁ֧בוּvai.ya.Shu.vuH7725from off the earthהָאָ֖רֶץha.'A.retzH776continuallyהָל֣וֹךְ וָשׁ֑וֹבha.Lokh va.ShovH7725 H1980:and after the endמִקְצֵ֕הmik.TzehH7097of the hundredוּמְאַ֖תu.me.'AtH3967and fiftyחֲמִשִּׁ֥יםcha.mi.ShimH2572daysיֽוֹם׃YomH3117the watersהַמַּ֔יִםha.Ma.yimH4325were abatedוַיַּחְסְר֣וּvai.yach.se.RuH2637.

4And the arkהַתֵּבָה֙ha.te.VahH8392restedוַתָּ֤נַחva.Ta.nachH5117in the seventhהַשְּׁבִיעִ֔יha.she.vi.'IH7637monthבַּחֹ֣דֶשׁba.Cho.deshH2320,on the seventeenthבְּשִׁבְעָה־ עָשָׂ֥רbe.shiv.'ah- 'a.SarH7651 H6240dayי֖וֹםYomH3117of the monthלַחֹ֑דֶשׁla.Cho.deshH2320,upon the mountainsהָרֵ֥יha.ReiH2022of Araratאֲרָרָֽט׃'a.ra.RatH780.

5And the watersוְהַמַּ֗יִםve.ha.Ma.yimH4325decreasedוְחָס֔וֹרve.cha.SorH2637continuallyהָל֣וֹךְha.LokhH1980untilעַ֖ד'adH5704the tenthהָֽעֲשִׂירִ֑יha.'a.si.RiH6224monthהַחֹ֣דֶשׁha.Cho.deshH2320:in the tenthבָּֽעֲשִׂירִי֙ba.'a.si.RiH6224month,on the firstבְּאֶחָ֣דbe.'e.ChadH259dayof the monthלַחֹ֔דֶשׁla.Cho.deshH2320,were the topsרָאשֵׁ֥יra.SheiH7218of the mountainsהֶֽהָרִֽים׃He.ha.RimH2022seenנִרְא֖וּnir.'UH7200.

6And it came to pass at the endמִקֵּ֖ץmi.KetzH7093of fortyאַרְבָּעִ֣ים'ar.ba.'ImH705daysי֑וֹםYomH3117,that Noahנֹ֔חַNo.achH5146openedוַיִּפְתַּ֣חvai.yif.TachH6605the windowחַלּ֥וֹןcha.LonH2474of the arkהַתֵּבָ֖הha.te.VahH8392which he had madeעָשָֽׂה׃'a.SahH6213:

7And he sent forthוַיְשַׁלַּ֖חvay.sha.LachH7971a ravenהָֽעֹרֵ֑בha.'o.RevH6158,which went forthוַיֵּצֵ֤אvai.ye.Tze'H3318toיָצוֹא֙ya.tzO'H3318and froוָשׁ֔וֹבva.ShovH7725,until the watersהַמַּ֖יִםha.Ma.yimH4325were dried upיְבֹ֥שֶׁתye.Vo.shetH3001from off the earthהָאָֽרֶץ׃ha.'A.retzH776.

8Also he sent forthוַיְשַׁלַּ֥חvay.sha.LachH7971a doveהַיּוֹנָ֖הhai.yo.NahH3123from him, to seeלִרְאוֹת֙lir.'OtH7200if the watersהַמַּ֔יִםha.Ma.yimH4325were abatedהֲקַ֣לּוּha.Ka.luH7043from off the faceפְּנֵ֥יpe.NeiH6440of the groundהָֽאֲדָמָֽה׃Ha.'a.da.MahH127;

9But the doveהַיּוֹנָ֨הhai.yo.NahH3123foundמָצְאָה֩ma.tze.'AhH4672no restמָנ֜וֹחַma.No.achH4494for the soleלְכַף־le.khaf-H3709of her footרַגְלָ֗הּrag.LahH7272,and she returnedוַתָּ֤שָׁבva.Ta.shovH7725unto him into the arkהַתֵּבָ֔הha.te.VahH8392,for the watersמַ֖יִםMa.yimH4325wereon the faceפְּנֵ֣יpe.NeiH6440of the whole earthהָאָ֑רֶץha.'A.retzH776:then he put forthוַיִּשְׁלַ֤חvai.yish.LachH7971his handיָדוֹ֙ya.DoH3027,and took herוַיִּקָּחֶ֔הָvai.yi.ka.Che.haH3947,and pulled her inוַיָּבֵ֥אvai.ya.Ve'H935unto him into the arkהַתֵּבָֽה׃ha.te.VahH8392.

10And he stayedוַיָּ֣חֶלvai.Ya.chelH2342yet otherאֲחֵרִ֑ים'a.che.RimH312sevenשִׁבְעַ֥תshiv.'AtH7651daysיָמִ֖יםya.MimH3117;and againוַיֹּ֛סֶףvai.Yo.sefH3254he sent forthשַׁלַּ֥חsha.LachH7971the doveהַיּוֹנָ֖הhai.yo.NahH3123out of the arkהַתֵּבָֽה׃ha.te.VahH8392;

11And the doveהַיּוֹנָה֙hai.yo.NahH3123came inוַתָּבֹ֨אva.ta.Vo'H935to him in the eveningלְעֵ֣ת עֶ֔רֶבle.'Et 'E.revH6153 H6256;and, lo, in her mouthבְּפִ֑יהָbe.Fi.haH6310wasan oliveזַ֖יִתZa.yitH2132leafעֲלֵה־'a.leh-H5929pluckt offטָרָ֣ףta.RafH2965:so Noahנֹ֔חַNo.achH5146knewוַיֵּ֣דַעvai.Ye.da'H3045that the watersהַמַּ֖יִםha.Ma.yimH4325were abatedקַ֥לּוּKa.luH7043from off the earthהָאָֽרֶץ׃ha.'A.retzH776.

12And he stayedוַיִּיָּ֣חֶלvai.yi.Ya.chelH3176yet otherאֲחֵרִ֑ים'a.che.RimH312sevenשִׁבְעַ֥תshiv.'AtH7651daysיָמִ֖יםya.MimH3117;and sent forthוַיְשַׁלַּח֙vay.sha.LachH7971the doveהַיּוֹנָ֔הhai.yo.NahH3123;which returnedשׁוּב־shuv-H7725not againיָסְפָ֥הya.se.FahH3254unto him any moreH5750.

13And it came to pass in the sixוְשֵׁשׁ־ve.shesh-H8337hundredthמֵא֜וֹתme.'otH3967and first yearשָׁנָ֗הsha.NahH8141,in the firstבָּֽרִאשׁוֹן֙ba.ri.shOnH7223month,the firstH259dayof the monthלַחֹ֔דֶשׁla.Cho.deshH2320,the watersהַמַּ֖יִםha.Ma.yimH4325were dried upחָֽרְב֥וּcha.re.VuH2717from off the earthהָאָ֑רֶץha.'A.retzH776:and Noahנֹ֙חַ֙no.achH5146removedוַיָּ֤סַרvai.Ya.sarH5493the coveringמִכְסֵ֣הmikh.SehH4372of the arkהַתֵּבָ֔הha.te.VahH8392,and lookedוַיַּ֕רְאvai.Yar'H7200,and, behold, the faceפְּנֵ֥יpe.NeiH6440of the groundהָֽאֲדָמָֽה׃Ha.'a.da.MahH127was dryחָֽרְב֖וּcha.re.VuH2717.

14And in the secondהַשֵּׁנִ֔יha.she.NiH8145monthוּבַחֹ֙דֶשׁ֙u.va.Cho.deshH2320,on the sevenבְּשִׁבְעָ֧הbe.shiv.'AhH7651and twentiethוְעֶשְׂרִ֛יםve.'es.RimH6242dayי֖וֹםYomH3117of the monthלַחֹ֑דֶשׁla.Cho.deshH2320,was the earthהָאָֽרֶץ׃ סha.'A.retzH776driedיָבְשָׁ֖הya.ve.ShahH3001.

15And Godאֱלֹהִ֖ים'E.lo.HimH430spakeוַיְדַבֵּ֥רvay.da.BerH1696unto Noahנֹ֥חַNo.achH5146,sayingלֵאמֹֽר׃le.MorH559,

16Go forthצֵ֖אtze'H3318of the arkהַתֵּבָ֑הha.te.VahH8392,thou, and thy wifeוְאִשְׁתְּךָ֛ve.'ish.te.KhaH802,and thy sonsוּבָנֶ֥יךָu.va.Nei.khaH1121,and thy sons’בָנֶ֖יךָva.Nei.khaH1121wivesוּנְשֵֽׁי־u.ne.shei-H802with thee.

17Bring forthהַיְצֵ֣אhay.tze'H3318with thee every living thingהַחַיָּ֨הha.chai.YahH2416that iswith thee, of all fleshבָּשָׂ֗רba.SarH1320, bothof fowlבָּע֧וֹףba.'ofH5775,and of cattleוּבַבְּהֵמָ֛הu.va.be.he.MahH929,and of every creeping thingהָרֶ֛מֶשׂha.Re.mesH7431that creepethהָרֹמֵ֥שׂha.ro.MesH7430upon the earthהָאָ֖רֶץha.'A.retzH776;that they may breed abundantlyוְשָֽׁרְצ֣וּve.sha.re.TzuH8317in the earthבָאָ֔רֶץva.'A.retzH776,and be fruitfulוּפָר֥וּu.fa.RuH6509,and multiplyוְרָב֖וּve.ra.VuH7235upon the earthהָאָֽרֶץ׃ha.'A.retzH776.

18And Noahנֹ֑חַNo.achH5146went forthוַיֵּ֖צֵא־vai.Ye.tze'-H3318,and his sonsוּבָנָ֛יוu.va.NavH1121,and his wifeוְאִשְׁתּ֥וֹve.'ish.ToH802,and his sons’בָנָ֖יוva.NavH1121wivesוּנְשֵֽׁי־u.ne.shei-H802with him:

19Every beastהַֽחַיָּ֗הha.chai.YahH2416,every creeping thingהָרֶ֙מֶשׂ֙ha.Re.mesH7431,and every fowlהָע֔וֹףha.'ofH5775, andwhatsoeverH3605creepethרוֹמֵ֣שׂro.MesH7430upon the earthהָאָ֑רֶץha.'A.retzH776,after their kindsלְמִשְׁפְּחֹ֣תֵיהֶ֔םle.mish.pe.Cho.tei.HemH4940,went forthיָצְא֖וּya.tze.'UH3318out of the arkהַתֵּבָֽה׃ha.te.VahH8392.

20And Noahנֹ֛חַNo.achH5146buildedוַיִּ֥בֶןvai.Yi.venH1129an altarמִזְבֵּ֖חַmiz.Be.achH4196unto the Lordלַֽיהוָ֑הla.Yah.wehH3068;and tookוַיִּקַּ֞חvai.yi.KachH3947of every cleanהַטְּהוֹרָ֗הha.te.ho.RahH2889beastהַבְּהֵמָ֣הha.be.he.MahH929,and of every cleanהַטָּהֹ֔רha.ta.HorH2889fowlהָע֣וֹףha.'ofH5775,and offeredוַיַּ֥עַלvai.Ya.'alH5927burnt offeringsעֹלֹ֖ת'o.LotH5930on the altarבַּמִּזְבֵּֽחַ׃ba.miz.Be.achH4196.
