2The sonsבְּנֵ֣יbe.NeiH1121of Japhethיֶ֔פֶתYe.fetH3315;Gomerגֹּ֣מֶרGo.merH1586,and Magogוּמָג֔וֹגu.ma.GogH4031,and Madaiוּמָדַ֖יu.ma.DaiH4074,and Javanוְיָוָ֣ןve.ya.VanH3120,and Tubalוְתֻבָ֑לve.tu.ValH8422,and Meshechוּמֶ֖שֶׁךְu.Me.shekhH4902,and Tirasוְתִירָֽס׃ve.ti.RasH8494.

3And the sonsוּבְנֵ֖יu.ve.NeiH1121of Gomerגֹּ֑מֶרGo.merH1586;Ashkenazאַשְׁכֲּנַ֥ז'ash.ka.NazH813,and Riphathוְרִיפַ֖תve.ri.FatH7384,and Togarmahוְתֹגַרְמָֽה׃ve.to.gar.MahH8425.

4And the sonsוּבְנֵ֥יu.ve.NeiH1121of Javanיָוָ֖ןya.VanH3120;Elishahאֱלִישָׁ֣ה'e.li.ShahH473,and Tarshishוְתַרְשִׁ֑ישׁve.tar.ShishH8659,Kittimכִּתִּ֖יםki.TimH3794,and Dodanimוְדֹדָנִֽים׃ve.do.da.NimH1721.

5By these were the islesאִיֵּ֤י'i.YeiH339of the Gentilesהַגּוֹיִם֙ha.go.YimH1471divided inנִפְרְד֞וּnif.re.DuH6504their landsבְּאַרְצֹתָ֔םbe.'ar.tzo.TamH776;every oneאִ֖ישׁ'ishH376after his tongueלִלְשֹׁנ֑וֹlil.sho.NoH3956,after their familiesלְמִשְׁפְּחֹתָ֖םle.mish.pe.cho.TamH4940,in their nationsבְּגוֹיֵהֶֽם׃be.go.ye.HemH1471.

9He was a mightyגִבֹּֽר־gi.bor-H1368hunterצַ֖יִדTza.yidH6718beforeלִפְנֵ֣יlif.NeiH6440the Lordיְהוָ֑הYah.wehH3068:whereforeכֵּן֙kenH3651it is saidיֵֽאָמַ֔רye.'a.MarH559,Even as Nimrodכְּנִמְרֹ֛דke.nim.RodH5248the mightyגִּבּ֥וֹרgi.BorH1368hunterצַ֖יִדTza.yidH6718beforeלִפְנֵ֥יlif.NeiH6440the Lordיְהוָֽה׃Yah.wehH3068.

21Unto Shemוּלְשֵׁ֥םul.ShemH8035also, the fatherאֲבִי֙'a.ViH1of all the childrenבְּנֵי־be.nei-H1121of Eberעֵ֔בֶר'E.verH5677,the brotherאֲחִ֖י'a.ChiH251of Japhethיֶ֥פֶתYe.fetH3315the elderהַגָּדֽוֹל׃ha.ga.DolH1419, even to him were childrenbornיֻלַּ֖דyu.LadH3205.
