2And, behold, there came upעֹלֹת֙'o.LotH5927out of the riverהַיְאֹ֗רhay.'OrH2975sevenשֶׁ֣בַעShe.va'H7651wellיְפ֥וֹתye.FotH3303favouredמַרְאֶ֖הmar.'EhH4758kineפָּר֔וֹתpa.RotH6510and fatfleshedוּבְרִיאֹ֣ת בָּשָׂ֑רu.ve.ri.'Ot ba.SarH1320 H1277;and they fedוַתִּרְעֶ֖ינָהva.tir.'Ei.nahH7462in a meadowבָּאָֽחוּ׃ba.'A.chuH260.

3And, behold, sevenשֶׁ֧בַעShe.va'H7651otherאֲחֵר֗וֹת'a.che.RotH312kineפָּר֣וֹתpa.RotH6510came upעֹל֤וֹתo.LotH5927after themאַחֲרֵיהֶן֙'a.cha.rei.HenH310out of the riverהַיְאֹ֔רhay.'OrH2975,illרָע֥וֹתra.'otH7451favouredמַרְאֶ֖הmar.'EhH4758and leanfleshedוְדַקּ֣וֹת בָּשָׂ֑רve.da.Kot ba.SarH1320 H1851;and stoodוַֽתַּעֲמֹ֛דְנָהva.ta.'a.Mo.de.nahH5975byאֵ֥צֶל'E.tzelH681the otherkineהַפָּר֖וֹתha.pa.RotH6510upon the brinkשְׂפַ֥תse.FatH8193of the riverהַיְאֹֽר׃hay.'OrH2975.

4And the illרָע֤וֹתra.'otH7451favouredהַמַּרְאֶה֙ha.mar.'EhH4758and leanfleshedוְדַקֹּ֣ת הַבָּשָׂ֔רve.da.Kot ha.ba.SarH1320 H1851kineהַפָּר֗וֹתha.pa.RotH6510did eat upוַתֹּאכַ֣לְנָהva.to.Khal.nahH398the sevenשֶׁ֣בַעShe.va'H7651wellיְפֹ֥תye.FotH3303favouredהַמַּרְאֶ֖הha.mar.'EhH4758and fatוְהַבְּרִיאֹ֑תve.ha.be.ri.'OtH1277kineהַפָּר֔וֹתha.pa.RotH6510.So Pharaohפַּרְעֹֽה׃par.'OhH6547awokeוַיִּיקַ֖ץvai.yi.KatzH3364.

5And he sleptוַיִּישָׁ֕ןvai.yi.ShanH3462and dreamedוַֽיַּחֲלֹ֖םvai.ya.cha.LomH2492the second timeשֵׁנִ֑יתshe.NitH8145:and, behold, sevenשֶׁ֣בַעShe.va'H7651ears of cornשִׁבֳּלִ֗יםshi.bo.LimH7641came upעֹל֛וֹתo.LotH5927upon oneאֶחָ֖ד'e.ChadH259stalkבְּקָנֶ֥הbe.ka.NehH7070,rankבְּרִיא֥וֹתbe.ri.'otH1277and goodוְטֹבֽוֹת׃ve.to.VotH2896.

6And, behold, sevenשֶׁ֣בַעShe.va'H7651thinדַּקּ֖וֹתda.KotH1851earsשִׁבֳּלִ֔יםshi.bo.LimH7641and blastedוּשְׁדוּפֹ֣תu.she.du.FotH7710with the east windקָדִ֑יםka.DimH6921sprung upצֹמְח֖וֹתtzo.me.ChotH6779after themאַחֲרֵיהֶֽן׃'a.cha.rei.HenH310.

7And the seven thinהַדַּקּ֔וֹתha.da.KotH1851earsהַשִּׁבֳּלִ֣יםha.shi.bo.LimH7641devouredוַתִּבְלַ֙עְנָה֙va.tiv.La'.nahH1104the sevenשֶׁ֣בַעShe.va'H7651rankהַבְּרִיא֖וֹתha.be.ri.'otH1277and fullוְהַמְּלֵא֑וֹתve.ha.me.le.'otH4392earsהַֽשִּׁבֳּלִ֔יםha.shi.bo.LimH7641.And Pharaohפַּרְעֹ֖הpar.'OhH6547awokeוַיִּיקַ֥ץvai.yi.KatzH3364, and, behold, it wasa dreamחֲלֽוֹם׃cha.LomH2472.

8And it came to pass in the morningבַבֹּ֙קֶר֙va.Bo.kerH1242that his spiritרוּח֔וֹru.ChoH7307was troubledוַתִּפָּ֣עֶםva.ti.Pa.'emH6470;and he sentוַיִּשְׁלַ֗חvai.yish.LachH7971and calledוַיִּקְרָ֛אvai.yik.Ra'H7121for all the magiciansחַרְטֻמֵּ֥יchar.tu.MeiH2748of Egyptמִצְרַ֖יִםmitz.Ra.yimH4714,and all the wise menחֲכָמֶ֑יהָcha.kha.Mei.haH2450thereof: and Pharaohפַּרְעֹ֤הpar.'OhH6547toldוַיְסַפֵּ֨רvay.sa.PerH5608them his dreamחֲלֹמ֔וֹcha.lo.MoH2472; but there wasnone that could interpretפּוֹתֵ֥רpo.TerH6622them unto Pharaohלְפַרְעֹֽה׃le.far.'OhH6547.

9Then spakeוַיְדַבֵּר֙vay.da.BerH1696the chiefשַׂ֣רsarH8269butlerH8248unto Pharaohפַּרְעֹ֖הpar.'OhH6547,sayingלֵאמֹ֑רle.MorH559,I do rememberמַזְכִּ֥ירmaz.KirH2142my faultsחֲטָאַ֕יcha.ta.'AiH2399this dayהַיּֽוֹם׃hai.YomH3117:

10Pharaohפַּרְעֹ֖הpar.'OhH6547was wrothקָצַ֣ףka.TzafH7107with his servantsעֲבָדָ֑יו'a.va.DavH5650,and putוַיִּתֵּ֨ןvai.yi.TenH5414me in wardבְּמִשְׁמַ֗רbe.mish.MarH4929in the captainשַׂ֣רsarH8269of the guard’sהַטַּבָּחִ֔יםha.ta.ba.ChimH2876houseבֵּ֚יתbeitH1004, bothme and the chiefשַׂ֥רsarH8269bakerהָאֹפִֽים׃ha.'o.FimH644:

11And we dreamedוַנַּֽחַלְמָ֥הva.na.chal.MahH2492a dreamחֲל֛וֹםcha.LomH2472in oneאֶחָ֖ד'e.ChadH259nightבְּלַ֥יְלָהbe.Lay.lahH3915,I and he; we dreamedחָלָֽמְנוּ׃cha.La.me.nuH2492each manאִ֛ישׁ'ishH376according to the interpretationכְּפִתְר֥וֹןke.fit.RonH6623of his dreamחֲלֹמ֖וֹcha.lo.MoH2472.

12And there wasthere with us a young manנַ֣עַרNa.'arH5288,an Hebrewעִבְרִ֗י'iv.RiH5680,servantעֶ֚בֶד'E.vedH5650to the captainלְשַׂ֣רle.SarH8269of the guardהַטַּבָּחִ֔יםha.ta.ba.ChimH2876;and we toldוַנְּ֨סַפֶּר־va.Ne.sa.per-H5608him, and he interpretedוַיִּפְתָּר־vai.yif.tor-H6622to us our dreamsחֲלֹמֹתֵ֑ינוּcha.lo.mo.Tei.nuH2472;to each manאִ֥ישׁ'ishH376according to his dreamכַּחֲלֹמ֖וֹka.cha.lo.MoH2472he did interpretפָּתָֽר׃pa.TarH6622.

13And it came to pass, as he interpretedפָּֽתַר־pa.tar-H6622to us, so it was; me he restoredהֵשִׁ֥יבhe.ShivH7725unto mine officeכַּנִּ֖יka.NiH3653,and him he hangedתָלָֽה׃ta.LahH8518.

14Then Pharaohפַּרְעֹה֙par.'OhH6547sentוַיִּשְׁלַ֤חvai.yish.LachH7971and calledוַיִּקְרָ֣אvai.yik.Ra'H7121Josephיוֹסֵ֔ףyo.SefH3130,and they brought him hastilyוַיְרִיצֻ֖הוּvay.ri.Tzu.huH7323out of the dungeonהַבּ֑וֹרha.BorH953:and he shavedוַיְגַלַּח֙vay.ga.LachH1548himself,and changedוַיְחַלֵּ֣ףvay.cha.LefH2498his raimentשִׂמְלֹתָ֔יוsim.lo.TavH8071,and came inוַיָּבֹ֖אvai.ya.Vo'H935unto Pharaohפַּרְעֹֽה׃par.'OhH6547.

15And Pharaohפַּרְעֹה֙par.'OhH6547saidוַיֹּ֤אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559unto Josephיוֹסֵ֔ףyo.SefH3130,I have dreamedחָלַ֔מְתִּיcha.Lam.tiH2492a dreamחֲל֣וֹםcha.LomH2472, and there isnone that can interpretוּפֹתֵ֖רu.fo.TerH6622it: and I have heardשָׁמַ֤עְתִּיsha.Ma'.tiH8085sayלֵאמֹ֔רle.MorH559of thee, thatthou canst understandתִּשְׁמַ֥עtish.Ma'H8085a dreamחֲל֖וֹםcha.LomH2472to interpretלִפְתֹּ֥רlif.TorH6622it.

16And Josephיוֹסֵ֧ףyo.SefH3130answeredוַיַּ֨עַןvai.Ya.'anH6030Pharaohפַּרְעֹ֛הpar.'OhH6547,sayingלֵאמֹ֖רle.MorH559, It isnot in meבִּלְעָדָ֑יbil.'a.DaiH1107:Godאֱלֹהִ֕ים'E.lo.HimH430shall giveH6030Pharaohפַּרְעֹֽה׃par.'OhH6547an answerיַעֲנֶ֖הya.'a.NehH6030of peaceשְׁל֥וֹםshe.LomH7965.

17And Pharaohפַּרְעֹ֖הpar.'OhH6547saidוַיְדַבֵּ֥רvay.da.BerH1696unto Josephיוֹסֵ֑ףyo.SefH3130,In my dreamבַּחֲלֹמִ֕יba.cha.lo.MiH2472,behold, I stoodעֹמֵ֖ד'o.MedH5975upon the bankשְׂפַ֥תse.FatH8193of the riverהַיְאֹֽר׃hay.'OrH2975:

18And, behold, there came upעֹלֹת֙'o.LotH5927out of the riverהַיְאֹ֗רhay.'OrH2975sevenשֶׁ֣בַעShe.va'H7651kineפָּר֔וֹתpa.RotH6510,fatfleshedבְּרִיא֥וֹת בָּשָׂ֖רbe.ri.'ot ba.SarH1320 H1277and wellוִיפֹ֣תvi.FotH3303favouredתֹּ֑אַרTo.'arH8389;and they fedוַתִּרְעֶ֖ינָהva.tir.'Ei.nahH7462in a meadowבָּאָֽחוּ׃ba.'A.chuH260:

19And, behold, sevenשֶֽׁבַע־she.va'-H7651otherאֲחֵרוֹת֙'a.che.roTH312kineפָּר֤וֹתpa.RotH6510came upעֹל֣וֹתo.LotH5927after themאַחֲרֵיהֶ֔ן'a.cha.rei.HenH310,poorדַּלּ֨וֹתda.LotH1803and veryמְאֹ֖דme.'OdH3966illוְרָע֥וֹתve.ra.'otH7451favouredתֹּ֛אַרTo.'arH8389and leanfleshedוְרַקּ֣וֹת בָּשָׂ֑רve.ra.Kot ba.SarH1320 H7534,suchH2007as I neverלֹֽא־lo'-H3808sawרָאִ֧יתִיra.'I.tiH7200in all the landאֶ֥רֶץ'E.retzH776of Egyptמִצְרַ֖יִםmitz.Ra.yimH4714for badnessלָרֹֽעַ׃la.Ro.a'H7455:

20And the leanהָרַקּ֖וֹתha.ra.KotH7534and the ill favouredוְהָרָע֑וֹתve.ha.ra.'otH7451kineהַפָּר֔וֹתha.pa.RotH6510did eat upוַתֹּאכַ֙לְנָה֙va.to.Khal.nahH398the firstהָרִאשֹׁנ֖וֹתha.ri.sho.NotH7223sevenשֶׁ֧בַעShe.va'H7651fatהַבְּרִיאֹֽת׃ha.be.ri.'OtH1277kineהַפָּר֛וֹתha.pa.RotH6510:

21And when they had eaten them upוַתָּבֹ֣אנָה קִרְבֶּ֗נָהva.ta.Vo.nah kir.Be.nahH7130 H935,it could not be knownנוֹדַע֙no.Da'H3045that they had eaten themבָ֣אוּ קִרְבֶּ֔נָהVa.'u kir.Be.nahH7130 H935; but they werestillוּמַרְאֵיהֶ֣ןu.mar.'ei.HenH4758ill favouredרַ֔עRa'H7451,as at the beginningבַּתְּחִלָּ֑הba.te.chi.LahH8462.So I awokeוָאִיקָֽץ׃va.'i.KatzH3364.

22And I sawוָאֵ֖רֶאva.'E.re'H7200in my dreamבַּחֲלֹמִ֑יba.cha.lo.MiH2472,and, behold, sevenשֶׁ֣בַעShe.va'H7651earsשִׁבֳּלִ֗יםshi.bo.LimH7641came upעֹלֹ֛ת'o.LotH5927in oneאֶחָ֖ד'e.ChadH259stalkבְּקָנֶ֥הbe.ka.NehH7070,fullמְלֵאֹ֥תme.le.'OtH4392and goodוְטֹבֽוֹת׃ve.to.VotH2896:

23And, behold, sevenשֶׁ֣בַעShe.va'H7651earsשִׁבֳּלִ֔יםshi.bo.LimH7641,witheredצְנֻמ֥וֹתtze.nu.MotH6798,thinדַּקּ֖וֹתda.KotH1851, andblastedשְׁדֻפ֣וֹתshe.du.FotH7710with the east windקָדִ֑יםka.DimH6921,sprung upצֹמְח֖וֹתtzo.me.ChotH6779after themאַחֲרֵיהֶֽם׃'a.cha.rei.HemH310:

28This isthe thingהַדָּבָ֔רha.da.VarH1697which I have spokenדִּבַּ֖רְתִּיdi.Bar.tiH1696unto Pharaohפַּרְעֹ֑הpar.'OhH6547:What Godהָאֱלֹהִ֛יםha.'E.lo.HimH430isabout to doעֹשֶׂ֖ה'o.SehH6213he shewethהֶרְאָ֥הher.'AhH7200unto Pharaohפַּרְעֹֽה׃par.'OhH6547.

29Behold, there comeבָּא֑וֹתba.'otH935sevenשֶׁ֥בַעShe.va'H7651yearsשָׁנִ֖יםsha.NimH8141of greatגָּד֖וֹלga.DolH1419plentyשָׂבָ֥עsa.Va'H7647throughout all the landאֶ֥רֶץ'E.retzH776of Egyptמִצְרָֽיִם׃mitz.Ra.yimH4714:

30And there shall ariseוְ֠קָמוּVe.ka.muH6965after themאַחֲרֵיהֶ֔ן'a.cha.rei.HenH310sevenשֶׁ֜בַעShe.va'H7651yearsשְׁנֵ֤יshe.NeiH8141of famineרָעָב֙ra.'AvH7458;and all the plentyהַשָּׂבָ֖עha.sa.Va'H7647shall be forgottenוְנִשְׁכַּ֥חve.nish.KachH7911in the landבְּאֶ֣רֶץbe.'E.retzH776of Egyptמִצְרָ֑יִםmitz.Ra.yimH4714;and the famineהָרָעָ֖בha.ra.'AvH7458shall consumeוְכִלָּ֥הve.khi.LahH3615the landהָאָֽרֶץ׃ha.'A.retzH776;

31And the plentyהַשָּׂבָע֙ha.sa.Va'H7647shall not be knownיִוָּדַ֤עyi.va.Da'H3045in the landבָּאָ֔רֶץba.'A.retzH776by reasonמִפְּנֵ֛יmi.pe.NeiH6440of that famineהָרָעָ֥בha.ra.'AvH7458followingאַחֲרֵי־ כֵ֑ן'a.cha.rei- KhenH3651 H310; for it shall beveryמְאֹֽד׃me.'OdH3966grievousכָבֵ֥דkha.VedH3515.

32And for that the dreamהַחֲל֛וֹםha.cha.LomH2472was doubledהִשָּׁנ֧וֹתhi.sha.NotH8138unto Pharaohפַּרְעֹ֖הpar.'OhH6547twiceפַּעֲמָ֑יִםpa.'a.Ma.yimH6471; it isbecause the thingהַדָּבָר֙ha.da.VarH1697isestablishedנָכ֤וֹןna.KhonH3559byמֵעִ֣םme.'ImH5973Godהָאֱלֹהִ֔יםha.'E.lo.HimH430,and Godהָאֱלֹהִ֖יםha.'E.lo.HimH430will shortlyוּמְמַהֵ֥רu.me.ma.HerH4116bring it to passלַעֲשֹׂתֽוֹ׃la.'a.so.ToH6213.

33Now therefore let Pharaohפַרְעֹ֔הfar.'OhH6547look outיֵרֶ֣אye.Re'H7200a manאִ֖ישׁ'ishH376discreetנָב֣וֹןna.VonH995and wiseוְחָכָ֑םve.cha.KhamH2450,and setוִישִׁיתֵ֖הוּvi.shi.Te.huH7896him over the landאֶ֥רֶץ'E.retzH776of Egyptמִצְרָֽיִם׃mitz.Ra.yimH4714.

34Let Pharaohפַרְעֹ֔הfar.'OhH6547doיַעֲשֶׂ֣הya.'a.SehH6213this,and let him appointוְיַפְקֵ֥דve.yaf.KedH6485officersפְּקִדִ֖יםpe.ki.DimH6496over the landהָאָ֑רֶץha.'A.retzH776,and take up the fifth partוְחִמֵּשׁ֙ve.chi.MeshH2567of the landאֶ֣רֶץ'E.retzH776of Egyptמִצְרַ֔יִםmitz.Ra.yimH4714in the sevenבְּשֶׁ֖בַעbe.She.va'H7651plenteousהַשָּׂבָֽע׃ha.sa.Va'H7647yearsשְׁנֵ֥יshe.NeiH8141.

35And let them gatherוְיִקְבְּצ֗וּve.yik.be.TzuH6908all the foodאֹ֙כֶל֙'o.khelH400of those goodהַטֹּבֹ֔תha.to.VotH2896yearsהַשָּׁנִ֣יםha.sha.NimH8141that comeהַבָּאֹ֖תha.ba.'OtH935,and lay upוְיִצְבְּרוּ־ve.yitz.be.ru-H6651cornבָ֞רvarH1250under the handיַד־yad-H3027of Pharaohפַּרְעֹ֛הpar.'OhH6547,and let them keepוְשָׁמָֽרוּ׃ve.sha.Ma.ruH8104foodאֹ֥כֶל'O.khelH400in the citiesבֶּעָרִ֖יםbe.'a.RimH5892.

36And that foodהָאֹ֤כֶלha.'O.khelH400shall be for storeלְפִקָּדוֹן֙le.fi.ka.dOnH6487to the landלָאָ֔רֶץla.'A.retzH776against the sevenלְשֶׁ֙בַע֙le.She.va'H7651yearsשְׁנֵ֣יshe.NeiH8141of famineהָרָעָ֔בha.ra.'AvH7458,which shall be in the landבְּאֶ֣רֶץbe.'E.retzH776of Egyptמִצְרָ֑יִםmitz.Ra.yimH4714;that the landהָאָ֖רֶץha.'A.retzH776perishתִכָּרֵ֥תti.ka.RetH3772not through the famineבָּרָעָֽב׃ba.ra.'AvH7458.

37And the thingהַדָּבָ֖רha.da.VarH1697was goodוַיִּיטַ֥בvai.yi.TavH3190in the eyesבְּעֵינֵ֣יbe.'ei.NeiH5869of Pharaohפַרְעֹ֑הfar.'OhH6547,and in the eyesוּבְעֵינֵ֖יu.ve.'ei.NeiH5869of all his servantsעֲבָדָֽיו׃'a.va.DavH5650.

38And Pharaohפַּרְעֹ֖הpar.'OhH6547saidוַיֹּ֥אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559unto his servantsעֲבָדָ֑יו'a.va.DavH5650,Can we findהֲנִמְצָ֣אha.nim.Tza'H4672such a oneas thisכָזֶ֔הkha.ZehH2088is,a manאִ֕ישׁ'ishH376in whomאֲשֶׁ֛ר'a.SherH834the Spiritר֥וּחַRu.achH7307of Godאֱלֹהִ֖ים'E.lo.HimH430is?
