10On the fourH702 and twentieth [day] of the ninthH8671 [month], in the second yearH8141 of DariusH1867, came the wordH1697 of Jehovah by HaggaiH2292 the prophetH5030, sayingH559,
11ThusH3541 saith Jehovah of hostsH6635: AskH7592 now the priestsH3548 [concerning] the lawH8451, sayingH559,
12If oneH376 bearH5375 holyH6944 fleshH1320 in the skirtH3671 of his garmentH899, and with his skirtH3671 do touchH5060 breadH3899, or pottage, or wineH3196, or oilH8081, or any foodH3899 — shall it become holyH6944? And the priestsH3548 answered and saidH559, No.
13And HaggaiH2292 saidH559, If one that is uncleanH2931 by a dead body touchH5060 any of these, is it becomeH2930 uncleanH2931? And the priestsH3548 answered and saidH559, It shall be uncleanH2931.
