Thusdeclaresנְאֻם־ne.'um-H5002the LORDיְהוָ֗הYah.wehH3068,who stretches outנֹטֶ֤הno.TehH5186the heavensשָׁמַ֙יִם֙sha.Ma.yimH8064and lays the foundationוְיֹסֵ֣דve.yo.SedH3245of the earthאָ֔רֶץ'A.retzH776,who formsוְיֹצֵ֥רve.yo.TzerH3335the spiritרֽוּחַ־Ru.ach-H7307of manאָדָ֖ם'a.DamH120within himבְּקִרְבּֽוֹ׃ פbe.kir.BoH7130:

2“Beholdהִנֵּ֣הhi.NehH2009,Iאָ֠נֹכִי'A.no.khiH595will makeשָׂ֣םsamH7760אֶת־'et-H853Jerusalemיְרוּשָׁלִַ֧םye.ru.sha.LimH3389a cupסַף־saf-H5592of drunkennessרַ֛עַלRa.'alH7478to allלְכָל־le.kholH3605the surroundingסָבִ֑יבsa.VivH5439peoplesהָעַמִּ֖יםha.'a.MimH5971וְגַ֧םve.GamH1571עַל־'al-H5921.Judahיְהוּדָ֛הye.hu.DahH3063will beיִֽהְיֶ֥הyih.YehH1961besiegedבַמָּצ֖וֹרva.ma.TzorH4692,as well asעַל־'al-H5921Jerusalemיְרוּשָׁלִָֽם׃ye.ru.sha.LimH3389.

3וְהָיָ֣הve.ha.YahH1961On thatהַ֠הוּאHa.hu'H1931dayבַיּוֹם־vai.yom-H3117,when allלְכָל־le.kholH3605the nationsגּוֹיֵ֥יgo.YeiH1471of the earthהָאָֽרֶץ׃ha.'A.retzH776gatherוְנֶאֶסְפ֣וּve.ne.'es.FuH622against herעָלֶ֔יהָ'a.Lei.haH5921,I will makeאָשִׂ֨ים'a.SimH7760אֶת־'et-H853Jerusalemיְרוּשָׁלִַ֜םye.ru.sha.LimH3389a heavyמַֽעֲמָסָה֙ma.'a.ma.SahH4614stoneאֶ֤בֶן'E.venH68for allכָּל־kol-H3605the peoplesהָ֣עַמִּ֔יםha.'a.MimH5971;allכֹּ֖לkolH3605who would heave it awayעֹמְסֶ֖יהָ'o.me.Sei.haH6006will be severely injuredH8295.

4On thatהַה֜וּאha.Hu'H1931dayבַּיּ֨וֹםbai.YomH3117,declaresנְאֻם־ne.'um-H5002the LORDיְהוָ֗הYah.wehH3068,I will strikeאַכֶּ֤ה'a.KehH5221everyכָל־khol-H3605horseסוּס֙susH5483with panicבַּתִּמָּה֔וֹןba.ti.ma.HonH8541,and every riderוְרֹכְב֖וֹve.ro.khe.VoH7392with madnessבַּשִּׁגָּע֑וֹןba.shi.ga.'onH7697.I will keep a watchfulאֶפְקַ֣ח'ef.KachH6491אֶת־'et-H853eyeעֵינַ֔י'ei.NaiH5869onוְעַל־ve.'al-H5921the houseבֵּ֤יתbeitH1004of Judahיְהוּדָה֙ye.hu.DahH3063,but I will strikeאַכֶּ֖ה'a.KehH5221with blindnessבַּֽעִוָּרֽוֹן׃Ba.'i.va.RonH5788allוְכֹל֙ve.KholH3605the horsesס֣וּסsusH5483of the nationsהָֽעַמִּ֔יםha.'a.MimH5971.

5Then the leadersאַלֻּפֵ֥י'a.lu.FeiH441of Judahיְהוּדָ֖הye.hu.DahH3063will sayוְאָֽמְר֛וּve.'a.me.RuH559in their heartsבְּלִבָּ֑םbe.li.BamH3820: ‘The peopleיֹשְׁבֵ֣יyo.she.VeiH3427of Jerusalemיְרוּשָׁלִַ֔םye.ru.sha.LimH3389are my strengthאַמְצָ֥ה'am.TzahH556,for the LORDבַּיהוָ֥הba.Yah.wehH3068of Hostsצְבָא֖וֹתtze.va.'otH6635istheir Godאֱלֹהֵיהֶֽם׃'e.lo.hei.HemH430.’

8On thatהַה֗וּאha.Hu'H1931dayבַּיּ֣וֹםbai.YomH3117the LORDיְהוָה֙ בְּעַד֙Yah.weh be.'AdH3068 H1157will defendיָגֵ֤ןya.GenH1598the peopleיוֹשֵׁ֣בyo.ShevH3427of Jerusalemיְרוּשָׁלִַ֔םye.ru.sha.LimH3389,so thatהַה֖וּאha.Hu'H1931בַּיּ֥וֹםbai.YomH3117the weakestהַנִּכְשָׁ֥לha.nikh.ShalH3782among themwill beוְהָיָ֞הve.ha.YahH1961like Davidכְּדָוִ֑ידke.da.VidH1732,and the houseוּבֵ֤יתu.VeitH1004of Davidדָּוִיד֙da.VidH1732will be like Godכֵּֽאלֹהִ֔יםke.lo.HimH430,like the angelכְּמַלְאַ֥ךְke.mal.'AkhH4397of the LORDיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068going before themלִפְנֵיהֶֽם׃lif.nei.HemH6440.

9Soוְהָיָ֖הve.ha.YahH1961on thatהַה֑וּאha.Hu'H1931dayבַּיּ֣וֹםbai.YomH3117I will set outאֲבַקֵּ֗שׁ'a.va.KeshH1245to destroyלְהַשְׁמִיד֙le.hash.MidH8045אֶת־'et-H853allכָּל־kol-H3605the nationsהַגּוֹיִ֔םha.go.YimH1471that comeהַבָּאִ֖יםha.ba.'ImH935againstעַל־'al-H5921Jerusalemיְרוּשָׁלִָֽם׃ye.ru.sha.LimH3389.

11On thatהַה֗וּאha.Hu'H1931dayבַּיּ֣וֹםbai.YomH3117the wailingהַמִּסְפֵּד֙ha.mis.PedH4553in Jerusalemבִּיר֣וּשָׁלִַ֔םbi.Ru.sha.LimH3389will be as greatיִגְדַּ֤לyig.DalH1431as the wailingכְּמִסְפַּ֥דke.mis.PadH4553of Hadad-rimmonH1910in the plainבְּבִקְעַ֥תbe.vik.'AtH1237of Megiddoמְגִדּֽוֹן׃me.gi.DonH4023.
