1Again the wordדְּבַר־de.var-H1697of the LORDיְהוָ֥הYah.wehH3068of Hostsצְבָא֖וֹתtze.va.'otH6635cameוַיְהִ֛יvay.HiH1961to me,sayingלֵאמֹֽר׃le.MorH559:

2This is whatכֹּ֤הkohH3541the LORDיְהוָ֣הYah.wehH3068of Hostsצְבָא֔וֹתtze.va.'otH6635saysאָמַר֙'a.MarH559: “I am jealousקִנֵּ֥אתִיki.Ne.tiH7065for Zionלְצִיּ֖וֹןle.tzi.YonH6726with greatגְדוֹלָ֑הge.do.LahH1419zealקִנְאָ֣הkin.'AhH7068;I am jealousקִנֵּ֥אתִיki.Ne.tiH7065for herwith greatגְדוֹלָ֖הge.do.LahH1419fervorוְחֵמָ֥הve.che.MahH2534.”

3This is whatכֹּ֚הkohH3541the LORDיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068saysאָמַ֣ר'a.MarH559: “I will returnשַׁ֚בְתִּיShav.tiH7725toאֶל־'el-H413Zionצִיּ֔וֹןtzi.YonH6726and dwellוְשָׁכַנְתִּ֖יve.sha.khan.TiH7931inבְּת֣וֹךְbe.TokhH8432Jerusalemיְרֽוּשָׁלִָ֑םye.ru.sha.LimH3389.Then Jerusalemיְרוּשָׁלִַ֙ם֙ye.ru.sha.LimH3389will be calledוְנִקְרְאָ֤הve.nik.re.'AhH7121the Cityעִ֣יר־'Ir-H5892of Truthהָֽאֱמֶ֔תha.'e.MetH571,and the mountainוְהַר־ve.har-H2022of the LORDיְהוָ֥הYah.wehH3068of Hostsצְבָא֖וֹתtze.va.'otH6635will be calledthe Holyהַקֹּֽדֶשׁ׃ סha.Ko.deshH6944Mountainהַ֥רharH2022.”

4This is whatכֹּ֤הkohH3541the LORDיְהוָ֣הYah.wehH3068of Hostsצְבָא֔וֹתtze.va.'otH6635saysאָמַר֙'a.MarH559: “Old menזְקֵנִ֣יםze.ke.NimH2205and old womenוּזְקֵנ֔וֹתu.ze.ke.NotH2205will againעֹ֤ד'odH5750sitיֵֽשְׁבוּ֙ye.she.VuH3427along the streetsבִּרְחֹב֖וֹתbir.cho.VotH7339of Jerusalemיְרוּשָׁלִָ֑םye.ru.sha.LimH3389,eachוְאִ֧ישׁve.'IshH376with a staffמִשְׁעַנְתּ֛וֹmish.'an.ToH4938in handבְּיָד֖וֹbe.ya.DoH3027because ofמֵרֹ֥בme.RoH7230great ageיָמִֽים׃ya.MimH3117.

5And the streetsוּרְחֹב֤וֹתu.re.cho.VotH7339of the cityהָעִיר֙ha.'IrH5892will be filledיִמָּ֣לְא֔וּyi.Mal.'UH4390with boysיְלָדִ֖יםye.la.DimH3206and girlsוִֽילָד֑וֹתvi.la.DotH3207playingמְשַׂחֲקִ֖יםme.sa.cha.KimH7832thereבִּרְחֹֽבֹתֶֽיהָ׃ סbir.Cho.o.Tei.haH7339.”

6This is whatכֹּ֤הkohH3541the LORDיְהוָ֣הYah.wehH3068of Hostsצְבָא֔וֹתtze.va.'otH6635saysאָמַר֙'a.MarH559: “Ifכִּ֣יkiH3588thisis impossibleיִפָּלֵ֗אyi.pa.Le'H6381in the eyesבְּעֵינֵי֙be.'ei.NeiH5869of the remnantשְׁאֵרִית֙she.'e.RitH7611of thisהַזֶּ֔הha.ZehH2088peopleהָעָ֣םha.'AmH5971in theseהָהֵ֑םha.HemH1992daysבַּיָּמִ֖יםbai.ya.MimH3117,should it alsoגַּם־gam-H1571be impossibleיִפָּלֵ֔אyi.pa.Le'H6381in My eyesבְּעֵינַי֙be.'ei.NaiH5869?”declaresנְאֻ֖םne.'UmH5002the LORDיְהוָ֥הYah.wehH3068of Hostsצְבָאֽוֹת׃ פtze.va.'otH6635.

8I will bring themוְהֵבֵאתִ֣יve.he.ve.TiH935backאֹתָ֔ם'o.TamH853to dwellוְשָׁכְנ֖וּve.sha.khe.NuH7931inבְּת֣וֹךְbe.TokhH8432Jerusalemיְרוּשָׁלִָ֑םye.ru.sha.LimH3389,where they will beוְהָיוּ־ve.ha.yu-H1961Mypeopleלְעָ֗םle.'AmH5971,and Iוַֽאֲנִי֙va.'a.NiH589will beאֶהְיֶ֤ה'eh.YehH1961theirfaithfulבֶּאֱמֶ֖תbe.'e.MetH571and righteousוּבִצְדָקָֽה׃ סu.vitz.da.KahH6666Godלֵֽאלֹהִ֔יםle.lo.HimH430.”

10Forכִּ֗יKiH3588beforeלִפְנֵי֙lif.NeiH6440thoseהָהֵ֔םha.HemH1992daysהַיָּמִ֣יםhai.ya.MimH3117neitherלֹ֣אlo'H3808manהָֽאָדָם֙ha.'a.DamH120norאֵינֶ֑נָּה'ei.Ne.nahH369beastהַבְּהֵמָ֖הha.be.he.MahH929receivedשְׂכַ֤ר נִֽהְיָ֔הse.Khar nih.YahH1961 H7939wagesוּשְׂכַ֥רu.se.KharH7939,nor was thereאֵין־'ein-H369safetyשָׁלוֹם֙sha.lOmH7965fromמִן־min-H4480the enemyהַצָּ֔רha.TzarH6862for anyone who cameוְלַיּוֹצֵ֨אve.lai.yo.Tze'H3318or wentוְלַבָּ֤אve.la.Ba'H935,for I had turnedוַאֲשַׁלַּ֥חva.'a.sha.LachH7971אֶת־'et-H853everyכָּל־kol-H3605manהָאָדָ֖ם אִ֥ישׁha.'a.Dam 'ishH120 H376against his neighborבְּרֵעֵֽהוּ׃be.re.'E.huH7453.

11But nowוְעַתָּ֗הve.'a.TahH6258Iאֲנִ֔י'a.NiH589will not treatלֹ֣אlo'H3808the remnantלִשְׁאֵרִ֖יתlish.'e.RitH7611of thisהַזֶּ֑הha.ZehH2088peopleהָעָ֣םha.'AmH5971as I did in the pastכַיָּמִ֤ים הָרִֽאשֹׁנִים֙khai.ya.Mim ha.ri.sho.NimH7223 H3117,”declaresנְאֻ֖םne.'UmH5002the LORDיְהוָ֥הYah.wehH3068of Hostsצְבָאֽוֹת׃tze.va.'otH6635.

12“Forכִּֽי־ki-H3588the seedזֶ֣רַעZe.ra'H2233will beprosperousהַשָּׁל֗וֹםha.sha.LomH7965,the vineהַגֶּ֜פֶןha.Ge.fenH1612will yieldתִּתֵּ֤ןti.TenH5414its fruitפִּרְיָהּ֙pir.YahH6529,the groundוְהָאָ֙רֶץ֙ve.ha.'A.retzH776will yieldתִּתֵּ֣ןti.TenH5414אֶת־'et-H853its produceיְבוּלָ֔הּye.vu.LahH2981,and the skiesוְהַשָּׁמַ֖יִםve.ha.sha.Ma.yimH8064will giveיִתְּנ֣וּyi.te.NuH5414their dewטַלָּ֑םta.LamH2919.To the remnantשְׁאֵרִ֛יתshe.'e.RitH7611of thisהַזֶּ֖הha.ZehH2088אֶת־'et-H853peopleהָעָ֥םha.'AmH5971I will give allכָּל־kol-H3605these thingsאֵֽלֶּה׃'E.lehH428as an inheritanceוְהִנְחַלְתִּ֗יve.hin.chal.TiH5157אֶת־'et-H853.

13Asכַּאֲשֶׁר֩ka.'a.SherH834you have beenH1961a curseקְלָלָ֜הke.la.LahH7045among the nationsבַּגּוֹיִ֗םba.go.YimH1471,O houseבֵּ֤יתbeitH1004of Judahיְהוּדָה֙ye.hu.DahH3063and houseוּבֵ֣יתu.VeitH1004of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֔לYis.ra.'ElH3478,soכֵּ֚ןkenH3651I will saveאוֹשִׁ֣יעַ'o.Shi.a'H3467youאֶתְכֶ֔ם'et.KhemH853,and you will beH1961a blessingבְּרָכָ֑הbe.ra.KhahH1293.Do notאַל־'al-H408be afraidתִּירָ֖אוּti.Ra.'uH3372;let your handsיְדֵיכֶֽם׃ סye.dei.KhemH3027be strongתֶּחֱזַ֥קְנָהte.che.Zak.nahH2388.”

14Forכִּ֣יkiH3588this is whatכֹ֣הkhohH3541the LORDיְהוָ֣הYah.wehH3068of Hostsצְבָאוֹת֒tze.va.'OtH6635saysאָמַר֮'a.MarH559: “Just asכַּאֲשֶׁ֨רka.'a.SherH834I resolvedזָמַמְ֜תִּיza.maM.tiH2161to bring disasterלְהָרַ֣עle.ha.Ra'H7489upon youwhen your fathersאֲבֹֽתֵיכֶם֙'a.vo.tei.KhemH1provoked Me to angerבְּהַקְצִ֤יףbe.hak.TzifH7107אֹתִ֔י'o.TiH853,and I did notוְלֹ֖אve.Lo'H3808relentנִחָֽמְתִּי׃ni.Cha.me.tiH5162,”saysאָמַ֖ר'a.MarH559the LORDיְהוָ֣הYah.wehH3068of Hostsצְבָא֑וֹתtze.va.'otH6635,
