5וַֽיְהִי֙vay.HiH1961On the fourthהָרְבִיעִ֔יha.re.vi.'IH7243dayבַּיּ֣וֹםbai.YomH3117,they got up earlyוַיַּשְׁכִּ֥ימוּvai.yash.Ki.muH7925in the morningבַבֹּ֖קֶרva.Bo.kerH1242and preparedוַיָּ֣קָםvai.Ya.komH6965to departלָלֶ֑כֶתla.Le.khetH1980,but the girl’sהַֽנַּעֲרָ֜הha.na.'a.RahH5291fatherאֲבִ֨י'a.ViH1saidוַיֹּאמֶר֩vai.yo.MerH559toאֶל־'el-H413his son-in-lawחֲתָנ֗וֹcha.ta.NoH2860, “Refreshסְעָ֧דse.'AdH5582your heartלִבְּךָ֛li.be.KhaH3820with a morselפַּת־pat-H6595of breadלֶ֖חֶםLe.chemH3899,and thenוְאַחַ֥רve.'a.CharH310you can goתֵּלֵֽכוּ׃te.Le.khuH1980.”
6So they sat downוַיֵּשְׁב֗וּvai.ye.she.VuH3427and the twoשְׁנֵיהֶ֛םshe.nei.HemH8147of them ateוַיֹּאכְל֧וּvai.yo.khe.LuH398and drankוַיִּשְׁתּ֑וּvai.yish.TuH8354togetherיַחְדָּ֖וyach.DavH3162.Then the girl’sהַֽנַּעֲרָה֙ha.na.'a.RahH5291fatherאֲבִ֤י'a.ViH1saidוַיֹּ֜אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559toאֶל־'el-H413the manהָאִ֔ישׁha.'IshH376, “Pleaseנָ֥אna'H4994agreeהֽוֹאֶל־ho.'el-H2974to stay overnightוְלִ֖יןve.LinH3885and let your heartלִבֶּֽךָ׃li.Be.khaH3820be merryוְיִטַ֥בve.yi.TavH3190.”
8On the fifthהַחֲמִישִׁי֮ha.cha.mi.ShiH2549dayבַּיּ֣וֹםbai.YomH3117,he got up earlyוַיַּשְׁכֵּ֨םvai.yash.KemH7925in the morningבַּבֹּ֜קֶרba.Bo.kerH1242to departלָלֶכֶת֒la.le.KhetH1980,but the girl’sהַֽנַּעֲרָ֗הha.na.'a.RahH5291fatherאֲבִ֣י'a.ViH1saidוַיֹּ֣אמֶר׀vai.Yo.merH559, “Pleaseנָא֙na'H4994refreshסְעָד־se.'od-H5582your heartלְבָ֣בְךָ֔le.Va.ve.khaH3824.”So they waitedוְהִֽתְמַהְמְה֖וּve.hit.mah.me.HuH4102untilעַד־'ad-H5704late afternoonנְט֣וֹת הַיּ֑וֹםne.Tot hai.YomH5186H3117and the twoשְׁנֵיהֶֽם׃she.nei.HemH8147of them ateוַיֹּאכְל֖וּvai.yo.khe.LuH398.
