1Then Josephיוֹסֵ֜ףyo.SefH3130couldיָכֹ֨לya.KholH3201no longerוְלֹֽא־ve.lo'-H3808control himselfלְהִתְאַפֵּ֗קle.hit.'a.PekH662before allלְכֹ֤לle.KholH3605his attendantsהַנִּצָּבִים֙ha.ni.tza.VimH5324,and he cried outעָלָ֔יו וַיִּקְרָ֕א'a.Lav vai.yik.Ra'H5921 H7121, “Send everyoneכָל־ אִ֖ישׁkhol- 'ishH3605 H376awayהוֹצִ֥יאוּho.Tzi.'uH3318from meמֵעָלָ֑יme.'a.LaiH5921!”So noneוְלֹא־ve.lo'-H3808of themwere withעָ֤מַד אִישׁ֙'A.mad 'ishH5975 H376Josephאִתּ֔וֹ'i.ToH854when heיוֹסֵ֖ףyo.SefH3130made himself knownבְּהִתְוַדַּ֥עbe.hit.va.Da'H3045toאֶל־'el-H413his brothersאֶחָֽיו׃'e.ChavH251.

2But he weptבִּבְכִ֑יbiv.KhiH1065so loudlyוַיִּתֵּ֥ןvai.yi.TenH5414אֶת־'et-H853קֹל֖וֹko.LoH6963that the Egyptiansמִצְרַ֔יִםmitz.Ra.yimH4713heard himוַיִּשְׁמְע֣וּvai.yish.me.'UH8085,and Pharaoh’sפַּרְעֹֽה׃par.'OhH6547householdבֵּ֥יתbeitH1004soonheard of itוַיִּשְׁמַ֖עvai.yish.Ma'H8085.

3Josephיוֹסֵ֤ףyo.SefH3130saidוַיֹּ֨אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559toאֶל־'el-H413his brothersאֶחָיו֙'e.ChavH251, “Iאֲנִ֣י'a.NiH589am Josephיוֹסֵ֔ףyo.SefH3130!Is my fatherאָבִ֖י'a.ViH1stillהַע֥וֹדha.'odH5750aliveחָ֑יChaiH2416?”But theyאֶחָיו֙'e.ChavH251were unableוְלֹֽא־ יָכְל֤וּve.lo'- ya.khe.LuH3808 H3201to answerלַעֲנ֣וֹתla.'a.NotH6030himאֹת֔וֹ'o.ToH853,becauseכִּ֥יkiH3588they were terrifiedנִבְהֲל֖וּniv.ha.LuH926in his presenceמִפָּנָֽיו׃mi.pa.NavH6440.

4Then Josephיוֹסֵ֧ףyo.SefH3130saidוַיֹּ֨אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559toאֶל־'el-H413his brothersאֶחָ֛יו'e.ChavH251, “Pleaseנָ֥א אֵלַ֖יna' 'e.LaiH4994 H413come near meגְּשׁוּ־ge.shu-H5066.”And theyוַיִּגָּ֑שׁוּvai.yi.Ga.shuH5066did so. “Iאֲנִי֙'a.NiH589am Josephיוֹסֵ֣ףyo.SefH3130,your brotherאֲחִיכֶ֔ם'a.chi.KhemH251,”he saidוַיֹּ֗אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559, “the oneאֲשֶׁר־'a.Sher-H834you soldמְכַרְתֶּ֥םme.khar.TemH4376אֹתִ֖י'o.TiH853into Egyptמִצְרָֽיְמָה׃mitz.Ra.ye.mahH4714!
