9And the LORD saidוַיֹּ֣אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559to himאֵלָ֗יו'e.LavH413, “Bringקְחָ֥הke.ChahH3947Meמְשֻׁלֶּ֔שֶׁתme.shu.Le.shetH8027a heiferעֶגְלָ֣ה'eg.LahH5697מְשֻׁלֶּ֖שֶׁתme.shu.Le.shetH8027,a goatוְעֵ֥זve.'EzH5795,and a ramוְאַ֣יִלve.'A.yilH352, eachthree years oldמְשֻׁלָּ֑שׁme.shu.LashH8027,along with a turtledoveוְתֹ֖רve.TorH8449and a young pigeonוְגוֹזָֽל׃ve.go.ZalH1469.”

10So Abram broughtוַיִּֽקַּֽח־vai.yi.kach-H3947allכָּל־kol-H3605theseאֵ֗לֶּה'E.lehH428to Himאֶת־'et-H853,splitוַיְבַתֵּ֤רvay.va.TerH1334each of themאֹתָם֙'o.TamH853down the middleבַּתָּ֔וֶךְba.Ta.vekhH8432,and laidוַיִּתֵּ֥ןvai.yi.TenH5414the halvesבִּתְר֖וֹbit.RoH1335oppositeלִקְרַ֣אתlik.RatH7122eachאִישׁ־'ish-H376otherרֵעֵ֑הוּre.'E.huH7453.The birdsהַצִפֹּ֖רha.tzi.PorH6833,howeverוְאֶת־ve.'EtH853,he did notלֹ֥אlo'H3808cut in halfבָתָֽר׃va.TarH1334.

11And the birds of preyהָעַ֖יִטha.'A.yitH5861descendedוַיֵּ֥רֶדvai.Ye.redH3381onעַל־'al-H5921the carcassesהַפְּגָרִ֑יםha.pe.ga.RimH6297,but Abramאַבְרָֽם׃'av.RamH87drove them awayוַיַּשֵּׁ֥בvai.ya.ShevH5380אֹתָ֖ם'o.TamH853.
