8Godאֱלֹהִ֛ים'E.lo.HimH430calledוַיִּקְרָ֧אvai.yik.Ra'H7121the expanseלָֽרָקִ֖יעַla.ra.Ki.a'H7549“skyשָׁמָ֑יִםsha.Ma.yimH8064.”And there wasוַֽיְהִי־vay.hi-H1961eveningעֶ֥רֶב'E.revH6153,and there wasוַֽיְהִי־vay.hi-H1961morningבֹ֖קֶרVo.kerH1242—the secondשֵׁנִֽי׃ פshe.NiH8145dayי֥וֹםYomH3117.

9And Godאֱלֹהִ֗ים'E.lo.HimH430saidוַיֹּ֣אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559, “Let the watersהַמַּ֜יִםha.Ma.yimH4325underמִתַּ֤חַתmi.Ta.chatH8478the skyהַשָּׁמַ֙יִם֙ha.sha.Ma.yimH8064be gatheredיִקָּו֨וּyi.ka.VuH6960intoאֶל־'El-H413oneאֶחָ֔ד'e.ChadH259placeמָק֣וֹםma.KomH4725,so that the dryהַיַּבָּשָׁ֑הhai.ya.ba.ShahH3004landmay appearוְתֵרָאֶ֖הve.te.ra.'EhH7200.”And it wasוַֽיְהִי־vay.hi-H1961soכֵֽן׃KhenH3651.

10Godאֱלֹהִ֤ים׀'E.lo.HimH430calledוַיִּקְרָ֨אvai.yik.Ra'H7121the dryלַיַּבָּשָׁה֙lai.ya.ba.ShahH3004land “earthאֶ֔רֶץ'E.retzH776,”and the gatheringוּלְמִקְוֵ֥הu.le.mik.VehH4723of watersהַמַּ֖יִםha.Ma.yimH4325He calledקָרָ֣אka.Ra'H7121“seasיַמִּ֑יםya.MimH3220.”And Godאֱלֹהִ֖ים'E.lo.HimH430sawוַיַּ֥רְאvai.Yar'H7200thatכִּי־ki-H3588it wasgoodH2896.

11Then Godאֱלֹהִ֗ים'E.lo.HimH430saidוַיֹּ֣אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559, “Let the earthהָאָ֙רֶץ֙ha.'A.retzH776bring forthתַּֽדְשֵׁ֤אtad.She'H1876vegetationדֶּ֔שֶׁאDe.she'H1877:seed-bearingמַזְרִ֣יעַ זֶ֔רַעmaz.Ri.a' Ze.ra'H2232 H2233plantsעֵ֚שֶׂב'E.sevH6212and fruitפְּרִ֞יpe.RiH6529treesעֵ֣ץ'etzH6086,each bearingעֹ֤שֶׂה'O.sehH6213fruitפְּרִי֙pe.RiH6529with seedזַרְעוֹ־zar.'ov-H2233according to its kindלְמִינ֔וֹle.mi.NoH4327אֲשֶׁ֥ר'a.SherH834עַל־'al-H5921הָאָ֑רֶץha.'A.retzH776.”And it wasוַֽיְהִי־vay.hi-H1961soכֵֽן׃KhenH3651.
