23וַיְהִ֗יvay.HiH1961And when you heardכְּשָׁמְעֲכֶ֤םke.sha.me.'a.KhemH8085אֶת־'et-H853the voiceהַקּוֹל֙ha.kOlH6963out ofמִתּ֣וֹךְmi.TokhH8432the darknessהַחֹ֔שֶׁךְha.Cho.shekhH2822while the mountainוְהָהָ֖רve.ha.HarH2022was blazingבֹּעֵ֣רbo.'ErH1197with fireבָּאֵ֑שׁba.'EshH784,allכָּל־kol-H3605the headsרָאשֵׁ֥יra.SheiH7218of your tribesשִׁבְטֵיכֶ֖םshiv.tei.KhemH7626and your eldersוְזִקְנֵיכֶֽם׃ve.zik.nei.KhemH2205approachedוַתִּקְרְב֣וּןva.tik.re.VunH7126meאֵלַ֔י'e.LaiH413,
24and you saidוַתֹּאמְר֗וּva.to.me.RuH559, “Beholdהֵ֣ןhenH2005,the LORDיְהוָ֤הYah.wehH3068our Godאֱלֹהֵ֙ינוּ֙'e.lo.Hei.nuH430אֶת־'et-H853has shown usהֶרְאָ֜נוּher.'A.nuH7200His gloryכְּבֹד֣וֹke.vo.DoH3519וְאֶת־ve.'EtH853and greatnessגָּדְל֔וֹga.de.LoH1433וְאֶת־ve.'EtH853,and we have heardשָׁמַ֖עְנוּsha.Ma'.nuH8085His voiceקֹל֥וֹko.LoH6963out ofמִתּ֣וֹךְmi.TokhH8432the fireהָאֵ֑שׁha.'EshH784.Todayהַיּ֤וֹם הַזֶּה֙hai.Yom ha.ZehH3117H2088we have seenרָאִ֔ינוּra.'I.nuH7200thatכִּֽי־ki-H3588a manהָֽאָדָ֖םha.'a.DamH120can liveוָחָֽי׃va.ChaiH2421even ifGodאֱלֹהִ֛ים'E.lo.HimH430speaksיְדַבֵּ֧רye.da.BerH1696withאֶת־'et-H854him.
25But nowוְעַתָּה֙ve.'a.TahH6258,whyלָ֣מָּהLa.mahH4100should we dieנָמ֔וּתna.MutH4191?Forכִּ֣יkiH3588thisהַזֹּ֑אתha.ZotH2063greatהַגְּדֹלָ֖הha.ge.do.LahH1419fireהָאֵ֥שׁha.'EshH784will consume usתֹֽאכְלֵ֔נוּto.khe.Le.nuH398,and we will dieוָמָֽתְנוּ׃va.Ma.te.nuH4191,ifאִם־'im-H518יֹסְפִ֣ים׀yo.se.FimH3254weאֲנַ֗חְנוּ'a.Nach.nuH587hearלִ֠שְׁמֹעַLish.mo.a'H8085אֶת־'et-H853the voiceק֨וֹלKolH6963of the LORDיְהוָ֧הYah.wehH3068our Godאֱלֹהֵ֛ינוּ'e.lo.Hei.nuH430any longerע֖וֹדodH5750.
26Forכִּ֣יkiH3588whoמִ֣יmiH4310of allכָל־khol-H3605fleshבָּשָׂ֡רba.SarH1320אֲשֶׁ֣ר'a.SherH834has heardשָׁמַ֣עsha.Ma'H8085the voiceקוֹל֩kOlH6963of the livingחַיִּ֜יםchai.YimH2416Godאֱלֹהִ֨ים'E.lo.HimH430speakingמְדַבֵּ֧רme.da.BerH1696out ofמִתּוֹךְ־mi.tokh-H8432the fireהָאֵ֛שׁha.'EshH784,as weכָּמֹ֖נוּka.Mo.nuH3644have,and survivedוַיֶּֽחִי׃vai.Ye.chiH2421?
27Go nearקְרַ֤בke.RavH7126אַתָּה֙'a.TahH859and listenוּֽשֲׁמָ֔עu.sha.Ma'H8085אֵ֛ת'etH853to allכָּל־kol-H3605thatאֲשֶׁ֥ר'a.SherH834the LORDיְהוָ֣הYah.wehH3068our Godאֱלֹהֵ֑ינוּ'e.lo.Hei.nuH430saysיֹאמַ֖רyo.MarH559.Then youוְאַ֣תְּ׀ve.'AtH859can tellתְּדַבֵּ֣ר אֵלֵ֗ינוּte.da.Ber 'e.Lei.nuH1696H413usאֵת֩'etH853everythingכָּל־kol-H3605אֲשֶׁ֨ר'a.SherH834the LORDיְהוָ֧הYah.wehH3068our Godאֱלֹהֵ֛ינוּ אֵלֶ֖יךָ'e.lo.Hei.nu 'e.Lei.khaH430H413tells youיְדַבֵּ֜רye.da.BerH1696;we will listenוְשָׁמַ֥עְנוּve.sha.Ma'.nuH8085and obeyוְעָשִֽׂינוּ׃ve.'a.Si.nuH6213.”
