1Then Elishaאֱלִישָׁ֔ע'e.li.Sha'H477saidוַיֹּ֣אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559, “Hearשִׁמְע֖וּshim.'UH8085the wordדְּבַר־de.var-H1697of the LORDיְהוָ֑הYah.wehH3068!This is whatכֹּ֣ה׀kohH3541the LORDיְהוָ֗הYah.wehH3068saysאָמַ֣ר'a.MarH559: ‘About this timeכָּעֵ֤ת׀ka.'EtH6256tomorrowמָחָר֙ma.CharH4279at the gateבְּשַׁ֥עַרbe.Sha.'arH8179of Samariaשֹׁמְרֽוֹן׃sho.me.RonH8111,a seahסְאָֽה־se.'ah-H5429of fine flourסֹ֣לֶתSo.letH5560will sellfor a shekelבְּשֶׁ֗קֶלbe.She.kelH8255,and two seahsוְסָאתַ֧יִםve.sa.Ta.yimH5429of barleyשְׂעֹרִ֛יםse.'o.RimH8184will sell for a shekelבְּשֶׁ֖קֶלbe.She.kelH8255.’”

2But the officerהַשָּׁלִ֡ישׁha.sha.LishH7991אֲשֶׁר־'a.Sher-H834onעַל־'al-H5921whose armיָד֜וֹya.DoH3027the kingלַמֶּלֶךְ֩la.me.leKhH4428leanedנִשְׁעָ֨ןnish.'AnH8172אֶת־'et-H853answeredוַיַּ֣עַןvai.Ya.'anH6030the manאִ֣ישׁ'ishH376of Godהָאֱלֹהִים֮ha.'E.lo.HimH430וַיֹּאמַר֒vai.yo.MarH559, “Lookהִנֵּ֣הhi.NehH2009,even if the LORDיְהוָ֗הYah.wehH3068were to makeעֹשֶׂ֤ה'o.SehH6213windowsאֲרֻבּוֹת֙'a.ru.bOtH699in heavenבַּשָּׁמַ֔יִםba.sha.Ma.yimH8064,could thisהַזֶּ֑הha.ZehH2088really happenהֲיִהְיֶ֖הha.yih.YehH1961הַדָּבָ֣רha.da.VarH1697?” “You will seeרֹאֶה֙ro.'EhH7200itwith your own eyesבְּעֵינֶ֔יךָbe.'ei.Nei.khaH5869,”repliedוַיֹּ֗אמֶר הִנְּכָ֤הvai.Yo.mer hi.ne.KhahH559 H2005Elisha, “but you will not eatלֹ֥א תֹאכֵֽל׃ סlo' to.KhelH3808 H398any of itוּמִשָּׁ֖םu.mi.ShamH8033.”
