Psalms 94:12-23
12Blessed is the manH1397 whom thou chastenest, O Jehovah,And teachest out of thy lawH8451;13That thou mayest give him rest from the daysH3117 of adversity,Until the pitH7845 be digged for the wickedH7563.14For Jehovah will not cast off his peopleH5971,Neither will he forsake his inheritanceH5159.15For judgmentH4941 shall returnH7725 unto righteousnessH6664;And all the uprightH3477 in heartH3820 shall follow it.16Who will riseH6965 up for me against the evil-doers?Who will standH6965 up for me against the workers of iniquity?17Unless Jehovah had been my helpH5833,My soulH5315 had soon dweltH7931 in silenceH1745.18When I saidH559, My footH7272 slippeth;Thy lovingkindness, O Jehovah, held me up.19In the multitudeH7230 of my thoughtsH8312 within me Thy comforts delight my soulH5315.20Shall the throneH3678 of wickedness have fellowship with thee,Which frameth mischiefH5999 by statuteH2706?21They gather themselves together against the soulH5315 of the righteousH6662,And condemnH7561 the innocentH5355 bloodH1818.22But Jehovah hath beenH1961 my high tower,And my GodH430 the rockH6697 of my refugeH4268.23And he hath broughtH7725 upon them their own iniquity,And will cut them off in their own wickednessH205;Jehovah our GodH430 will cut them off.
