Psalms 129
A Song of Ascents.
1ManyH7227 a time have they afflicted me from my youthH5271 up,Let IsraelH3478 now sayH559,2ManyH7227 a time have they afflicted me from my youthH5271 up:Yet they have not prevailedH3201 against me.3The plowers plowedH2790 upon my back; They made longH748 their furrows.4Jehovah is righteousH6662:He hath cutH7112 asunder the cordsH5688 of the wickedH7563.5Let them be putH954 to shameH954 and turnedH5472 backwardH268,All they that hateH8130 ZionH6726.6Let them beH1961 as the grassH2682 upon the housetops,Which withereth before it groweth up;7Wherewith the reaper filleth not his handH3709,Nor he that bindeth sheaves, his bosom:8Neither do they that go by sayH559,The blessingH1293 of Jehovah be upon you;We blessH1288 you in the nameH8034 of Jehovah.
