1 Kings 8:54-66
54And it wasH1961 so, that, when SolomonH8010 had made an endH3615 of prayingH6419 all this prayerH8605 and supplicationH8467 unto Jehovah, he aroseH6965 from before the altarH4196 of Jehovah, from kneelingH3766 on his knees with his handsH3709 spreadH6566 forth toward heavenH8064. 55And he stoodH5975, and blessedH1288 all the assemblyH6951 of IsraelH3478 with a loud voiceH6963, sayingH559, 56BlessedH1288 be Jehovah, that hath givenH5414 restH4496 unto his peopleH5971 IsraelH3478, according to all that he promised: there hath not failed oneH259 wordH1697 of all his goodH2896 promise, which he promised by MosesH4872 his servantH5650. 57Jehovah our GodH430 beH1961 with us, as he wasH1961 with our fathersH1: let him not leaveH5800 us, nor forsake us; 58that he may inclineH5186 our heartsH3824 unto him, to walk in all his waysH1870, and to keepH8104 his commandmentsH4687, and his statutesH2706, and his ordinancesH4941, which he commandedH6680 our fathersH1. 59And let these my wordsH1697, wherewith I have madeH6213 supplication before Jehovah, beH1961 nigh unto Jehovah our GodH430 dayH3117 and nightH3915, that he maintain the cause of his servantH5650, and the cause of his peopleH5971 IsraelH3478, as every dayH3117 shall require; 60that all the peoplesH5971 of the earthH776 may knowH3045 that Jehovah, he is GodH430; there is none else. 61Let your heartH3824 therefore beH1961 perfectH8003 with Jehovah our GodH430, to walk in his statutesH2706, and to keepH8104 his commandmentsH4687, as at this dayH3117.
62And the kingH4428, and all IsraelH3478 with him, offeredH2076 sacrificeH2077 before Jehovah. 63And SolomonH8010 offeredH2076 for the sacrificeH2077 of peace-offerings, which he offeredH2076 unto Jehovah, twoH8147 and twentyH6242 thousandH505 oxenH1241, and a hundredH3967 and twentyH6242 thousandH505 sheepH6629. So the kingH4428 and all the children of IsraelH3478 dedicated the houseH1004 of Jehovah. 64The same dayH3117 did the kingH4428 hallow the middleH8432 of the courtH2691 that was before the houseH1004 of Jehovah; for there he offered the burnt-offering, and the meal-offering, and the fatH2459 of the peace-offerings, because the brazen altarH4196 that was before Jehovah was too littleH6996 to receive the burnt-offering, and the meal-offering, and the fatH2459 of the peace-offerings. 65So SolomonH8010 held the feastH2282 at that timeH6256, and all IsraelH3478 with him, a greatH1419 assemblyH6951, from the entrance of HamathH2574 unto the brook of EgyptH4714, before Jehovah our GodH430, sevenH7651 daysH3117 and sevenH7651 daysH3117, even fourteen daysH3117. 66On the eighthH8066 dayH3117 he sentH7971 the peopleH5971 awayH7971; and they blessedH1288 the kingH4428, and went unto their tentsH168 joyfulH8056 and glad of heartH3820 for all the goodness that Jehovah had showed unto DavidH1732 his servantH5650, and to IsraelH3478 his peopleH5971.
