20AndAdamH120gaveוַיִּקְרָ֨אvai.yik.Ra'H7121namesשֵׁמ֗וֹתshe.MotH8034to allcattleהַבְּהֵמָה֙ha.be.he.MahH929, and to thefowlsוּלְע֣וֹףu.le.'ofH5775of theairהַשָּׁמַ֔יִםha.sha.Ma.yimH8064, and to everybeastחַיַּ֣תchai.YatH2416of thefieldהַשָּׂדֶ֑הha.sa.DehH7704; but forAdamH120there was notfoundמָצָ֥אma.Tza'H4672an helpmeetעֵ֖זֶר'E.zerH5828for him.

21And theLORDיְהוָ֨הYah.wehH3068Godאֱלֹהִ֧ים׀'E.lo.HimH430causedH5307a deepsleepתַּרְדֵּמָ֛הtar.de.MahH8639tofallוַיַּפֵּל֩vai.ya.PelH5307uponAdamH121, and hesleptוַיִּישָׁ֑ןvai.yi.ShanH3462: and hetookוַיִּקַּ֗חvai.yi.KachH3947oneאַחַת֙'a.ChatH259of hisribsמִצַּלְעֹתָ֔יוmi.tzal.'o.TavH6763, and closedupוַיִּסְגֹּ֥רvai.yis.GorH5462thefleshבָּשָׂ֖רba.SarH1320in its place;

22And theribהַצֵּלָ֛עha.tze.La'H6763, which theLORDיְהוָ֨הYah.wehH3068Godאֱלֹהִ֧ים׀'E.lo.HimH430hadtakenלָקַ֥חla.KachH3947frommanהָֽאָדָ֖םha.'a.DamH120, hemadeוַיִּבֶן֩vai.yi.VenH1129awomanלְאִשָּׁ֑הle.'i.ShahH802, andbroughtוַיְבִאֶ֖הָvay.vi.'E.haH935her to themanהָֽאָדָֽם׃Ha.'a.DamH120.
