23If adamselנַעֲרָ֣הna.'arH5291that is avirginבְתוּלָ֔הve.tu.LahH1330shall bebetrothedמְאֹרָשָׂ֖הme.'o.ra.SahH781to anhusbandלְאִ֑ישׁle.'IshH376, and amanאִ֛ישׁ'ishH376shallfindוּמְצָאָ֥הּu.me.tza.'AhH4672her in thecityבָּעִ֖ירba.'IrH5892, andlieוְשָׁכַ֥בve.sha.KhavH7901with her;

28If amanאִ֗ישׁ'IshH376shallfindיִמְצָ֣אyim.Tza'H4672adamselנַעֲרָ֤הna.'arH5291that is avirginבְתוּלָה֙ve.tu.LahH1330, who is notbetrothedאֹרָ֔שָׂה'o.Ra.sahH781, and layholdוּתְפָשָׂ֖הּu.te.fa.SahH8610on her, andlieוְשָׁכַ֣בve.sha.KhavH7901with her, and they befoundוְנִמְצָֽאוּ׃ve.nim.Tza.'uH4672;

29Then themanהָאִ֨ישׁha.'IshH376thatlayהַשֹּׁכֵ֥בha.sho.KhevH7901with her shallgiveוְ֠נָתַןVe.na.tanH5414to thedamsel’sהַֽנַּעֲרָ֖הha.na.'arH5291fatherלַאֲבִ֥יla.'a.ViH1fiftyחֲמִשִּׁ֣יםcha.mi.ShimH2572shekels ofsilverכָּ֑סֶףKa.sefH3701, and she shall be hiswifeלְאִשָּׁ֗הle.'i.ShahH802; because he hathhumbledעִנָּ֔הּ'i.NahH6031her, hemayיוּכַ֥לyu.KhalH3201not put herawayשַׁלְּחָ֖הsha.le.ChahH7971all hisdaysיָמָֽיו׃ סya.MavH3117.
