Deuteronomy 20:10-20

10When thou comestnearתִקְרַ֣בtik.RavH7126to acityעִ֔יר'IrH5892tofightלְהִלָּחֵ֖םle.hi.la.ChemH3898against it, thenproclaimוְקָרָ֥אתָve.ka.Ra.taH7121peaceלְשָׁלֽוֹם׃le.sha.LomH7965to it.

11And it shall be, if it shall make theeanswerתַּֽעַנְךָ֔ta.'an.KhaH6030ofpeaceשָׁל֣וֹםsha.LomH7965, andopenוּפָתְחָ֖הu.fa.te.ChahH6605to thee, then it shall be, that all thepeopleהָעָ֣םha.'AmH5971that arefoundהַנִּמְצָא־ha.nim.tza'-H4672in it shall be forcedlabourersלָמַ֖סla.MasH4522to thee, and they shallserveוַעֲבָדֽוּךָ׃va.'a.va.Du.khaH5647thee.

12And if it will make nopeaceתַשְׁלִים֙tash.LimH7999with thee, but willmakeוְעָשְׂתָ֥הve.'a.se.TahH6213warמִלְחָמָ֑הmil.cha.MahH4421against thee, then thou shaltbesiegeוְצַרְתָּ֖ve.tzar.TaH6696it:

16But of thecitiesמֵעָרֵ֤יme.'a.ReiH5892of thesepeopleהָֽעַמִּים֙ha.'a.MimH5971, which theLORDיְהוָ֣הYah.wehH3068thyGodאֱלֹהֶ֔יךָ'e.lo.Hei.khaH430dothgiveנֹתֵ֥ןno.TenH5414thee for aninheritanceנַחֲלָ֑הna.cha.LahH5159, thou shalt savealiveתְחַיֶּ֖הte.chai.YehH2421nothing thatbreathethנְשָׁמָֽה׃ne.sha.MahH5397:

18That they may notteachיְלַמְּד֤וּye.la.me.DuH3925you todoלַעֲשׂ֔וֹתla.'a.SotH6213after all theirabominationsתּֽוֹעֲבֹתָ֔םto.'a.vo.TamH8441, which they havedoneעָשׂ֖וּ'a.SuH6213to theirgodsלֵֽאלֹהֵיהֶ֑םle.lo.hei.HemH430; so should yesinוַחֲטָאתֶ֖םva.cha.ta.TemH2398against theLORDלַיהוָ֥הla.Yah.wehH3068yourGodאֱלֹהֵיכֶֽם׃ ס'e.lo.hei.KhemH430.
