Ezekiel 11
Revised Version 1895
1MoreoverH2009 the spiritH7307 liftedH5375 meH413 upH5375, and broughtH935 meH413 unto the eastH6921 gateH8179 of the LORD’SH3068 houseH1004, whichH7307 looketh eastwardH6931: and beholdH2009, at the doorH6607 of the gateH8179 fiveH2568 and twentyH6242 menH376; and I sawH7200 in the midstH8432 of them JaazaniahH2970 the sonH1121 of AzzurH5809, and PelatiahH6410 the sonH1121 of BenaiahH1141, princesH8269 of the peopleH5971. 2And he saidH559 unto meH413, SonH1121 of manH376, theseH428 are the menH376 that deviseH2803 iniquityH205, and that giveH3289 wickedH205 counselH6098 in this cityH5892. 3whichH1931 sayH559, The time is notH3808 nearH7138 to buildH1129 housesH1004: this cityH1931 is the caldron, and weH587 be the fleshH1320. 4Therefore prophesyH5012 againstH5921 them, prophesyH5012, O sonH1121 of manH120. 5And the spiritH7307 of the LORDH3068 fellH5307 uponH5921 meH413, and he saidH559 unto meH413, SpeakH559, ThusH3541 saith the LORDH3068: ThusH3541 have ye saidH559, O houseH1004 of IsraelH3478; for I knowH3045 the things that comeH5307 intoH413 your mindH7307. 6Ye have multipliedH7235 your slainH2491 in this cityH5892, and ye have filledH4390 the streetsH2351 thereof with the slainH2491. 7Therefore thusH3541 saith the LordH136 GODH136: Your slainH2491 whomH834 ye have laidH7760 in the midstH8432 of it, they are the fleshH1320, and this cityH1931 is the caldron: but ye shall be broughtH3318 forthH3318 outH3318 of the midstH8432 of it. 8Ye have fearedH3372 the swordH2719; and I will bringH935 the swordH2719 uponH5921 youH5921, saith the LordH136 GODH136. 9And I will bringH3318 youH5414 forthH3318 outH3318 of the midstH8432 thereof, and deliverH5414 youH5414 intoH8432 the handsH3027 of strangersH2114, and will executeH5414 judgmentsH8201 among youH5414. 10Ye shall fallH5307 by the swordH2719; I will judgeH8199 youH3588 in the borderH1366 of IsraelH3478; and ye shall knowH3045 that I am the LORDH3068. 11This cityH1931 shall notH3808 be your caldron, neitherH3808 shall ye be the fleshH1320 in the midstH8432 thereof; I will judgeH8199 youH859 in the borderH1366 of IsraelH3478; 12and ye shall knowH3045 that I am the LORDH3068: for ye have notH3808 walkedH1980 in my statutesH2706, neitherH3808 have ye executed my judgmentsH4941, but have doneH6213 afterH3588 the ordinancesH4941 of the nationsH1471 that are roundH5439 aboutH5439 youH834. 13And it cameH1961 to passH1961, when I prophesiedH5012, that PelatiahH6410 the sonH1121 of BenaiahH1141 diedH4191. Then fellH5307 I downH5307 uponH5921 my faceH6440, and criedH2199 with a loudH1419 voiceH6963, and saidH559, AhH162 LordH136 GODH136! wilt thou makeH6213 a fullH3617 endH3617 of the remnantH7611 of IsraelH3478? 14And the wordH1697 of the LORDH3068 cameH1961 unto meH413, sayingH559, 15SonH1121 of manH376, thy brethrenH251, evenH776 thy brethrenH251, the menH376 of thy kindred, and allH3605 the houseH1004 of IsraelH3478, allH3605 of them, are they unto whomH834 the inhabitantsH3427 of JerusalemH3389 have saidH559, Get youH834 farH7368 from the LORDH3068; unto usH5414 is this landH776 givenH5414 for a possessionH4181: 16Therefore sayH559, ThusH3541 saith the LordH136 GODH136: Whereas I have removedH7368 them farH7368 off among the nationsH1471, and whereas I have scatteredH6327 them among the countriesH776, yet will I be to them a sanctuaryH4720 for a littleH4592 whileH1961 in the countriesH776 whereH834 they are comeH935. 17Therefore sayH559, ThusH3541 saith the LordH136 GODH136: I will gatherH6908 youH834 from the peoplesH5971, and assembleH622 youH834 outH4480 of the countriesH776 whereH834 ye have been scatteredH6327, and I will giveH5414 youH834 the landH776 of IsraelH3478. 18And they shall comeH935 thither, and they shall takeH5493 awayH5493 allH3605 the detestableH8251 things thereof and allH3605 the abominationsH8441 thereof from thence. 19And I will giveH5414 them one heartH3820, and I will putH5414 a newH2319 spiritH7307 withinH7130 youH5414; and I will takeH5493 the stony heartH3820 out of their fleshH1320, and will giveH5414 them an heartH3820 of fleshH1320: 20that they may walk in my statutesH2708, and keepH8104 mine ordinancesH4941, and doH6213 them: and they shall be my peopleH5971, and I will be their GodH430. 21But as for them whose heartH3820 walketh afterH413 the heartH3820 of their detestableH8251 things and their abominationsH8441, I will bringH5414 their wayH1870 uponH413 their own headsH7218, saith the LordH136 GODH136. 22Then did the cherubimH3742 liftH5375 upH5375 their wingsH3671, and the wheelsH212 were besideH5921 them; and the gloryH3519 of the GodH430 of IsraelH3478 was over them aboveH5921. 23And the gloryH3519 of the LORDH3068 wentH5927 upH5927 from the midstH8432 of the cityH5892, and stoodH5975 uponH5921 the mountainH2022 whichH834 is on the eastH6924 side of the cityH5892. 24And the spiritH7307 liftedH5375 meH413 upH5927, and broughtH935 meH413 in the visionH4758 by the spiritH7307 of GodH430 intoH413 ChaldeaH3778, to them of the captivity. SoH5927 the visionH4758 that I had seenH7200 wentH935 upH5927 from meH413. 25Then I spake unto them of the captivity allH3605 the things that the LORDH3068 had shewed meH413.
