Ezekiel 34
Revised Version 1895
1And the wordH1697 of the LORDH3068 cameH1961 unto meH413, sayingH559, 2SonH1121 of manH120, prophesyH5012 againstH5921 the shepherdsH7462 of IsraelH3478, prophesyH5012, and sayH559 unto them, evenH3808 to the shepherdsH7462, ThusH3541 saith the LordH136 GODH136: WoeH1945 unto the shepherdsH7462 of IsraelH3478 that do feedH7462 themselvesH5921! should notH3808 the shepherdsH7462 feedH7462 the sheepH6629? 3Ye eatH398 the fatH2459, and ye clotheH3847 youH3808 with the woolH6785, ye kill the fatlings; but ye feedH398 notH3808 the sheepH6629. 4The diseased have ye notH3808 strengthenedH2388, neitherH3808 have ye healedH7495 that which was sickH2470, neitherH3808 have ye boundH2280 upH853 that which was brokenH7665, neitherH3808 have ye broughtH7725 againH7725 that which was drivenH5080 awayH7725, neitherH3808 have ye soughtH1245 that which was lostH6; but with forceH2394 and with rigour have ye ruled over them. 5And they were scatteredH6327, becauseH1097 there was noH1097 shepherdH7462: and they becameH1961 meat to allH3605 the beastsH2416 of the fieldH7704, and were scatteredH6327. 6My sheepH6629 wanderedH7686 throughH5921 allH3605 the mountainsH2022, and uponH5921 everyH3605 highH7311 hillH2022: yea, my sheepH6629 were scatteredH6327 uponH5921 allH3605 the faceH6440 of the earthH776; and there was noneH369 that did searchH1245 or seekH1245 afterH5921 them. 7Therefore, ye shepherdsH7462, hearH8085 the wordH1697 of the LORDH3068: 8As I liveH2416, saith the LordH136 GODH136, surelyH518 forasmuch as my sheepH6629 becameH1961 a preyH957, and my sheepH6629 becameH1961 meat to allH3605 the beastsH2416 of the fieldH7704, becauseH3282 there was noH3808 shepherdH7462, neitherH3808 didH3808 my shepherdsH7462 searchH1875 for my sheepH6629, but the shepherdsH7462 fed themselves, and fed notH3808 my sheepH6629; 9therefore, ye shepherdsH7462, hearH8085 the wordH1697 of the LORDH3068; 10ThusH3541 saith the LordH136 GODH136: BeholdH2005, I am againstH413 the shepherdsH7462; and I will requireH1875 my sheepH6629 at their handH3027, and causeH6310 them to ceaseH7673 from feeding the sheepH6629; neitherH3808 shall the shepherdsH7462 feedH7462 themselves anyH5750 moreH5750; and I will deliverH5337 my sheepH6629 from their mouthH6310, that they may notH3808 be meat for them. 11For thusH3541 saith the LordH136 GODH136: BeholdH2005, I myselfH589, evenH3588 I, will searchH1875 for my sheepH6629, and will seekH1875 them outH853. 12As a shepherdH7462 seeketh outH3605 his flockH6629 in the dayH3117 that he is among his sheepH6629 that are scatteredH6327 abroad, soH3651 will I seekH1239 outH3605 my sheepH6629; and I will deliverH5337 them outH3605 of allH3605 placesH4725 whither they have been scatteredH6327 in the cloudyH6051 and darkH6205 dayH3117. 13And I will bringH935 them outH3318 from the peoplesH5971, and gatherH6908 them from the countriesH776, and will bringH935 them intoH413 their own landH776; and I will feedH7462 them uponH935 the mountainsH2022 of IsraelH3478, by the watercourses, and in allH3605 the inhabitedH4186 placesH4186 of the countryH2022. 14I will feedH7462 them with goodH2896 pastureH4829, and uponH1961 the mountainsH2022 of the heightH4791 of IsraelH3478 shall their fold be: there shall they lieH7257 downH7257 in a goodH2896 fold, and on fat pastureH4829 shall they feedH7462 uponH1961 the mountainsH2022 of IsraelH3478. 15I myselfH589 will feedH7462 my sheepH6629, and I will cause them to lieH7257 downH7257, saith the LordH136 GODH136. 16I will seekH1245 that which was lostH6, and will bringH7725 againH7725 that which was drivenH5080 awayH7725, and will bindH2280 upH853 that which was brokenH7665, and will strengthenH2388 that which was sickH2470: and the fat and the strongH2388 I will destroyH8045; I will feedH7462 them in judgmentH4941. 17And as for youH859, O my flockH6629, thusH3541 saith the LordH136 GODH136: BeholdH2005, I judgeH8199 betweenH996 cattle and cattle, as well the ramsH352 as the he-goats. 18Seemeth it a smallH4592 thingH4592 unto youH853 to have fed upon the goodH2896 pastureH4829, but ye mustH853 treadH7429 downH7429 with your feetH7272 the residue of your pastureH4829? and to have drunkH8354 of the clearH4950 watersH4325, but ye mustH853 foul the residue with your feetH7272? 19And as for my sheepH6629, they eat that which ye have trodden with your feetH7272, and they drinkH8354 that which ye have fouled with your feetH7272. 20Therefore thusH3541 saith the LordH136 GODH136 unto them: BeholdH2005, I, evenH3651 I, judgeH8199 betweenH996 the fat cattle and the leanH7330 cattle. 21BecauseH3282 ye thrustH1920 with sideH3802 and with shoulderH3802, and pushH5055 allH3605 the diseased with your hornsH7161, tillH5704 ye have scatteredH6327 them abroadH2351; 22therefore will I saveH3467 my flockH6629, and they shall noH3808 moreH5750 be a preyH957; and I will judgeH8199 betweenH996 cattle and cattle. 23And I will setH6965 upH6965 one shepherdH7462 over them, and he shall feedH7462 them, evenH853 my servantH5650 DavidH1732; he shall feedH7462 them, and he shall be their shepherdH7462. 24And I the LORDH3068 will be their GodH430, and my servantH5650 DavidH1732 princeH5387 among them; I the LORDH3068 have spokenH1696 it. 25And I will makeH3772 with them a covenantH1285 of peaceH7965, and will cause evilH7451 beastsH2416 to ceaseH7673 outH4480 of the landH776: and they shall dwellH3427 securelyH983 in the wildernessH4057, and sleepH3462 in the woodsH3293. 26And I will makeH5414 them and the placesH5439 roundH5439 aboutH1961 my hillH1389 a blessingH1293; and I will causeH5414 the showerH1653 to comeH1961 downH3381 in itsH5414 seasonH6256; there shall be showersH1653 of blessingH1293. 27And the treeH6086 of the fieldH7704 shall yieldH5414 itsH5414 fruitH6529, and the earthH776 shall yieldH5414 herH5921 increaseH2981, and they shall be secureH983 in their landH776; and they shall knowH3045 that I am the LORDH3068, when I have brokenH7665 the barsH4133 of their yokeH5923, and have deliveredH5337 them outH3045 of the handH3027 of thoseH5921 that servedH5647 themselvesH5921 of them. 28And they shall noH3808 moreH5750 be a preyH957 to the heathen, neitherH3808 shall the beastH2416 of the earthH776 devourH398 them; but they shall dwellH3427 securelyH983, and noneH369 shall makeH2729 them afraidH2729. 29And I will raiseH6965 upH6965 unto them a plantation for renownH8034, and they shall be noH3808 moreH5750 consumed with famineH7458 in the landH776, neitherH3808 bearH5375 the shameH3639 of the heathen anyH5750 moreH5750. 30And they shall knowH3045 that I the LORDH3068 their GodH430 am with them, and that they, the houseH1004 of IsraelH3478, are my peopleH5971, saith the LordH3068 GODH430. 31And ye my sheepH6629, the sheepH6629 of my pastureH4830, are menH120, and I am your GodH430, saith the LordH136 GODH430.
