Deuteronomy 32:19-43

19And theLORDיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068sawוַיַּ֥רְאvai.Yar'H7200it, and abhorred them,Becauseמִכַּ֥עַסmi.Ka.'asH3708of the provocation of hissonsבָּנָ֖יוba.NavH1121and hisdaughtersוּבְנֹתָֽיו׃u.ve.no.TavH1323.

20And hesaidוַיֹּ֗אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559, I willhideאַסְתִּ֤ירָה'as.Ti.rahH5641myfaceפָנַי֙fa.NaiH6440from them, I willseeאֶרְאֶ֖ה'er.'EhH7200whatמָ֣הmahH4100theirendאַחֲרִיתָ֑ם'a.cha.ri.TamH319shall be: For they are a very frowardgenerationד֤וֹרDorH1755,Childrenבָּנִ֖יםba.NimH1121in whom isnoלֹא־lo'-H3808faith.

21They have movedmeH589tojealousyקִנְא֣וּנִיkin.'U.niH7065with thatwhichH1471isnotבְלֹא־ve.lo'-H3808Godאֵ֔ל'ElH410; They haveprovokedH3707meH589toangerכִּעֲס֖וּנִיki.'a.Su.niH3707with theirvanitiesבְּהַבְלֵיהֶ֑םbe.hav.lei.HemH1892: And I will move them tojealousyאַקְנִיאֵ֣ם'ak.ni.'EmH7065withthoseהֵ֚םhemH1992whichH1471arenotבְּלֹא־be.lo'-H3808apeopleעָ֔ם'AmH5971; I willprovokeאַכְעִיסֵֽם׃'akh.'i.SemH3707them toangerH3707with afoolishנָבָ֖לna.ValH5036nationבְּג֥וֹיbe.GoyH1471.

22For afireאֵשׁ֙'eshH784iskindledקָדְחָ֣הka.de.ChahH6919in mineangerבְאַפִּ֔יve.'a.PiH639, And burneth unto thelowestתַּחְתִּ֑יתtach.TitH8482pit, And devoureth theearthאֶ֙רֶץ֙'e.retzH776withherוַתֹּ֤אכַלva.To.khalH398increaseוִֽיבֻלָ֔הּvi.vu.LahH2981, And setteth onfireH784thefoundationsH4146of themountainsהָרִֽים׃ha.RimH2022.

23I willheapאַסְפֶּ֥ה'as.PehH5595mischiefsuponH5921them; I willspendאֲכַלֶּה־'a.kha.leh-H3615minearrowsחִצַּ֖יchi.TzaiH2671uponH5921them:

24They shall bewastedמְזֵ֥יme.ZeiH4198withhungerרָעָ֛בra.'AvH7458, and devoured withburningH2534heatH2534Andbitterמְרִירִ֑יme.ri.RiH4815destructionוְקֶ֣טֶבve.Ke.tevH6986; And theteethוְשֶׁן־ve.shen-H8127ofbeastsבְּהֵמוֹת֙be.he.mOtH929will Isendאֲשַׁלַּח־'a.sha.lach-H7971upon them, With thepoisonH2534of crawling things of thedustעָפָֽר׃'a.FarH6083.

25Without shall theswordחֶ֔רֶבChe.revH2719bereaveתְּשַׁכֶּל־te.sha.kel-H7921, And in thechambersוּמֵחֲדָרִ֖יםu.me.cha.da.RimH2315terrorאֵימָ֑ה'ei.MahH367; It shalldestroyH2719bothH1571youngבָּחוּר֙ba.ChurH970manH376andvirginבְּתוּלָ֔הbe.tu.LahH1330, The suckling with themanH376ofgrayשֵׂיבָֽה׃sei.VahH7872hairsH7872.

26Isaidאָמַ֖רְתִּי'a.Mar.tiH559, I would scatter them afar, I would make theremembranceזִכְרָֽם׃zikh.RamH2143of them toceaseאַשְׁבִּ֥יתָה'ash.Bi.tahH7673from amongmenמֵאֱנ֖וֹשׁme.'e.No.oshH582:

27Were itnotH3808that I feared the provocation of theenemyאוֹיֵב֙'o.YevH341,Lestפֶּֽן־pen-H6435their adversaries should misdeem,Lestפֶּן־pen-H6435they shouldsayיֹֽאמְרוּ֙yo.me.RuH559, Ourhandיָדֵ֣ינוּya.Dei.nuH3027isexaltedרָ֔מָהRa.mahH7311, And theLORDיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068hathnotH3808doneפָּעַ֥לpa.'AlH6466allכָּל־kol-H3605this.

28For they are anationג֛וֹיGoyH1471void ofcounselעֵצ֖וֹתe.TzotH6098, And there isnoוְאֵ֥יןve.'EinH369understandingתְּבוּנָֽה׃te.vu.NahH8394in them.

29Ohל֥וּluH3863that they werewiseחָכְמ֖וּcha.khe.MuH2449, that theyunderstoodיָבִ֖ינוּya.Vi.nuH995this, That they wouldconsiderH995theirlatterH319endלְאַחֲרִיתָֽם׃le.'a.cha.ri.TamH319!

30Howאֵיכָ֞ה'ei.KhahH349should onechaseיִרְדֹּ֤ףyir.DofH7291athousandאֶ֔לֶף'E.lefH505, Andtwoוּשְׁנַ֖יִםu.she.Na.yimH8147putH5127tenרְבָבָ֑הre.va.VahH7233thousandH505toflightH5127,Exceptאִם־'im-H518theirRockצוּרָ֣םtzu.RamH6697hadsoldמְכָרָ֔םme.kha.RamH4376them, And theLORDוַֽיהוָ֖הva.Yah.wehH3068haddeliveredהִסְגִּירָֽם׃his.gi.RamH5462themupH5462?

31For theirrockכְצוּרֵ֖נוּkhe.tzu.Re.nuH6697isnotלֹ֥אlo'H3808as ourRockצוּרָ֑םtzu.RamH6697,Evenכִּ֛יkiH3588ourenemiesוְאֹיְבֵ֖ינוּve.'o.ye.Vei.nuH341themselves beingjudgesפְּלִילִֽים׃pe.li.LimH6414.

32For theirvineמִגֶּ֤פֶןmi.Ge.fenH1612is of thevineגַּפְנָ֔םgaf.NamH1612ofSodomסְדֹם֙se.DomH5467, And of thefieldsוּמִשַּׁדְמֹ֖תu.mi.shad.MotH7709ofGomorrahעֲמֹרָ֑ה'a.mo.RahH6017: Theirgrapesעֲנָבֵ֙מוֹ֙'a.na.Ve.movH6025aregrapesעִנְּבֵי־'i.ne.vei-H6025ofgallר֔וֹשׁRo.oshH7219, Theirclustersאַשְׁכְּלֹ֥ת'ash.ke.LotH811arebitterמְרֹרֹ֖תme.ro.RotH4846:

33Theirwineיֵינָ֑םyei.NamH3196is thepoisonוְרֹ֥אשׁve.RoshH7219of dragons, And thecruelאַכְזָֽר׃'akh.ZarH393venomחֲמַ֥תcha.MatH2534of asps.

34Isnotהֲלֹא־ha.lo'-H3808thislaidH3647upH2856instoreH3647withmeH5978,Sealedחָתֻ֖םcha.TumH2856upH2856among mytreasuresבְּאוֹצְרֹתָֽי׃be.'otz.ro.TaiH214?

35Vengeanceנָקָם֙na.KamH5359is mine, and recompence, At the time when theirfootרַגְלָ֑םrag.LamH7272shall slide: For thedayי֣וֹםYomH3117of theircalamityאֵידָ֔ם'ei.DamH343is athandקָרוֹב֙ka.rOvH7138, And the things that are to come upon them shallmakeכִּ֤יkiH3588haste.

36For theLORDיְהוָה֙Yah.wehH3068shalljudgeיָדִ֤יןya.DinH1777hispeopleעַמּ֔וֹa.MoH5971, Andrepentיִתְנֶחָ֑םyit.ne.ChamH5162himselfH3027for hisservantsעֲבָדָ֖יו'a.va.DavH5650; When he seeth that theirpowerH3027isgoneאָ֣זְלַת'A.ze.latH235, And there isnoneוְאֶ֖פֶסve.'E.fesH657remaining,shutעָצ֥וּר'a.TzurH6113upיִרְאֶה֙yir.'EhH7200orleftוְעָזֽוּב׃ve.'a.ZuvH5800at large.

37And he shallsayוְאָמַ֖רve.'a.MarH559,Whereאֵ֣י'eiH335are theirgodsאֱלֹהֵ֑ימוֹ'e.lo.Hei.movH430, Therockצ֖וּרtzurH6697in which they trusted;

38WhichH834didH834eatיֹאכֵ֔לוּyo.Khe.luH398thefatחֵ֤לֶבChe.levH2459of theirsacrificesזְבָחֵ֙ימוֹ֙ze.va.Chei.movH2077, Anddrankיִשְׁתּ֖וּyish.TuH8354thewineיֵ֣יןyeinH3196of theirdrinkH8354offering?LetH1961themriseH6965upH6965andhelpוְיַעְזְרֻכֶ֔םve.ya'.ze.ru.KhemH5826youH834,LetH1961them be your protection.

39Seeרְא֣וּ׀re.'UH7200nowעַתָּ֗ה'a.TahH6258that I,evenכִּ֣יkiH3588I, am he, And there isnoH369godאֱלֹהִ֖ים'E.lo.HimH430withmeH7200: Ikillאָמִ֣ית'a.MitH4191, and ImakeH7200aliveוַאֲחַיֶּ֗הva.'a.chai.YehH2421; I havewoundedמָחַ֙צְתִּי֙ma.Chatz.tiH4272, and Ihealאֶרְפָּ֔א'er.Pa'H7495: And there isnoneH369thatcanH369deliverמַצִּֽיל׃ma.TzilH5337outH7200of myhandמִיָּדִ֖יmi.ya.DiH3027.

41Ifאִם־'im-H518I whet myglitteringבְּרַ֣קbe.RakH1300swordחַרְבִּ֔יchar.BiH2719, And minehandיָדִ֑יya.DiH3027takeH7725holdוְתֹאחֵ֥זve.to.ChezH270onjudgmentבְּמִשְׁפָּ֖טbe.mish.PatH4941; I willrenderH7725vengeanceנָקָם֙na.KamH5359to mine adversaries, And willrecompenseH7725them thathateוְלִמְשַׂנְאַ֖יve.lim.san.'AiH8130meH7725.

42I willmakeאַשְׁכִּ֤יר'ash.KirH7937minearrowsחִצַּי֙chi.TzaiH2671drunkH7937withbloodמִדָּ֔םmi.DamH1818, And myswordוְחַרְבִּ֖יve.char.BiH2719shalldevourתֹּאכַ֣לto.KhalH398fleshבָּשָׂ֑רba.SarH1320; With thebloodמִדַּ֤םmi.DamH1818of theslainחָלָל֙cha.LalH2491and thecaptivesוְשִׁבְיָ֔הve.shiv.YahH7633, From theheadמֵרֹ֖אשׁme.RoshH7218of theleadersH7218of theenemyאוֹיֵֽב׃'o.YevH341.
