19For theLORDיְהוָה֙Yah.wehH3068broughtJudahיְהוּדָ֔הye.hu.DahH3063lowbecauseH3588ofAhazאָחָ֣ז'a.ChazH271kingמֶֽלֶךְ־Me.lekh-H4428ofIsraelיִשְׂרָאֵ֑לYis.ra.'ElH3478; for he had dealt wantonly inJudahבִּֽיהוּדָ֔הbi.hu.DahH3063, and trespassed soreagainstH4604theLORDבַּיהוָֽה׃ba.Yah.wehH3068.

21ForAhazאָחָז֙'a.ChazH271tookH853away a portionoutH853of thehouseבֵּ֣יתbeitH1004of theLORDיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068, andoutH853of thehouseבֵּ֥יתbeitH1004of thekingהַמֶּ֖לֶךְha.Me.lekhH4428and of theprincesוְהַשָּׂרִ֑יםve.ha.sa.RimH8269, andgaveוַיִּתֵּן֙vai.yi.TenH5414it unto thekingלְמֶ֣לֶךְle.Me.lekhH4428ofAssyriaאַשּׁ֔וּר'a.ShurH804: but it helped himnotוְלֹ֥אve.Lo'H3808.

22And in the time of his distressdidH3254he trespass yetmoreH3254against theLORDבַּיהוָ֑הba.Yah.wehH3068, thissameה֖וּאhu'H1931kingהַמֶּ֥לֶךְha.Me.lekhH4428Ahazאָחָֽז׃'a.ChazH271.

23For hesacrificedוַיִּזְבַּ֗חvai.yiz.BachH2076unto thegodsלֵֽאלֹהֵ֣יle.lo.HeiH430ofDamascusדַרְמֶשֶׂק֮dar.me.SekH1834, whichsmoteH5221him: and hesaidוַיֹּ֗אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559,Becauseכִּ֠יkiH3588thegodsאֱלֹהֵ֤י'e.lo.HeiH430of thekingsמַלְכֵֽי־mal.khei-H4428ofSyriaאֲרָם֙'a.RamH758helpמַעְזְרִ֣יםma'.ze.RimH5826them, therefore will Isacrificeאֲזַבֵּ֖חַ'a.za.Be.achH2076to them, that they mayhelpוְיַעְזְר֑וּנִיve.ya'.ze.Ru.niH5826meH5221.
