2And Mosesמֹשֶׁ֛הmo.ShehH4872calledוַיִּקְרָ֥אvai.yik.Ra'H7121unto all Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֖לYis.ra.'ElH3478,and saidוַיֹּ֣אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559unto them, Ye have seenH7200all that Yhwhיְהוָ֤הYah.wehH3068didעָשָׂ֨ה'a.SahH6213before your eyesH5869in the landבְּאֶ֣רֶץbe.'E.retzH776of Egyptמִצְרַ֔יִםmitz.Ra.yimH4714unto Pharaohלְפַרְעֹ֥הle.far.'OhH6547,and unto all his servantsעֲבָדָ֖יו'a.va.DavH5650,and unto all his landאַרְצֽוֹ׃'ar.TzoH776;

3The greatהַגְּדֹלֹ֔תha.ge.do.LotH1419temptationsהַמַּסּוֹת֙ha.ma.sOtH4531which thine eyesH5869have seenH7200,the signsהָאֹתֹ֧תha.'o.TotH226,and those greatהַגְּדֹלִ֖יםha.ge.do.LimH1419miraclesוְהַמֹּפְתִ֛יםve.ha.mo.fe.TimH4159:

4Yet Yhwhיְהוָ֨הYah.wehH3068hath not givenנָתַן֩na.TanH5414you an heartלֵב֙levH3820to perceiveלָדַ֔עַתla.Da.'atH3045,and eyesוְעֵינַ֥יִםve.'ei.Na.yimH5869to seeלִרְא֖וֹתlir.'otH7200,and earsוְאָזְנַ֣יִםve.'a.ze.Na.yimH241to hearלִשְׁמֹ֑עַlish.Mo.a'H8085,unto this dayהַיּ֥וֹםhai.YomH3117.

5And I have ledH3212you fortyאַרְבָּעִ֥ים'ar.ba.'ImH705yearsשָׁנָ֖הsha.NahH8141in the wildernessבַּמִּדְבָּ֑רba.mid.BarH4057:your clothesשַׂלְמֹֽתֵיכֶם֙sal.mo.tei.KhemH8008are not waxen oldבָל֤וּva.LuH1086upon you, and thy shoeוְנַֽעַלְךָ֥ve.na.'al.KhaH5275is not waxen oldבָלְתָ֖הval.TahH1086upon thy footרַגְלֶֽךָ׃rag.Le.khaH7272.

6Ye have not eatenאֲכַלְתֶּ֔ם'a.khal.TemH398breadלֶ֚חֶםLe.chemH3899,neither have ye drunkשְׁתִיתֶ֑םshe.ti.TemH8354wineוְיַ֥יִןve.Ya.yinH3196or strong drinkוְשֵׁכָ֖רve.she.KharH7941:that ye might knowתֵּֽדְע֔וּte.de.'UH3045that I amYhwhיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068your Godאֱלֹהֵיכֶֽם׃'e.lo.hei.KhemH430.

7And when ye cameוַתָּבֹ֖אוּva.ta.Vo.'uH935unto this placeהַמָּק֣וֹםha.ma.KomH4725,Sihonסִיחֹ֣ןsi.ChonH5511the kingמֶֽלֶךְ־Me.lekh-H4428of Heshbonחֶ֠שְׁבּוֹןChesh.bonH2809,and Ogוְע֨וֹגve.'ogH5747the kingמֶֽלֶךְ־Me.lekh-H4428of Bashanהַבָּשָׁ֧ןha.ba.ShanH1316,came outוַיֵּצֵ֣אvai.ye.Tze'H3318againstH7125us unto battleלַמִּלְחָמָ֖הla.mil.cha.MahH4421,and we smoteוַנַּכֵּֽם׃va.na.KemH5221them:

8And we tookוַנִּקַּח֙va.ni.KachH3947their landאַרְצָ֔ם'ar.TzamH776,and gaveוַנִּתְּנָ֣הּva.ni.te.NahH5414it for an inheritanceלְנַחֲלָ֔הle.na.cha.LahH5159unto the Reubenitesלָרֽאוּבֵנִ֖יlo.r.'u.ve.NiH7206,and to the Gaditesוְלַגָּדִ֑יve.la.ga.DiH1425,and to the halfוְלַחֲצִ֖יve.la.cha.TziH2677tribeשֵׁ֥בֶטShe.vetH7626of Manassehהַֽמְנַשִּֽׁי׃Ham.na.ShiH4520.

9Keepוּשְׁמַרְתֶּ֗םu.she.mar.TemH8104therefore the wordsדִּבְרֵי֙div.ReiH1697of this covenantהַבְּרִ֣יתha.be.RitH1285,and doוַעֲשִׂיתֶ֖םva.'a.si.TemH6213them, that ye may prosperתַּשְׂכִּ֔ילוּtas.Ki.luH7919in all that ye doתַּעֲשֽׂוּן׃ פta.'a.SunH6213.

10Ye standנִצָּבִ֤יםni.tza.VimH5324this dayהַיּוֹם֙hai.yOmH3117all of you beforeלִפְנֵ֖יlif.NeiH6440Yhwhיְהוָ֣הYah.wehH3068your Godאֱלֹהֵיכֶ֑ם'e.lo.hei.KhemH430;your captainsרָאשֵׁיכֶ֣םra.shei.KhemH7218of your tribesשִׁבְטֵיכֶ֗םshiv.tei.KhemH7626,your eldersזִקְנֵיכֶם֙zik.nei.KhemH2205,and your officersוְשֹׁ֣טְרֵיכֶ֔םve.Sho.te.rei.KhemH7860, withall the menאִ֥ישׁ'ishH376of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃Yis.ra.'ElH3478,

11Your little onesטַפְּכֶ֣םta.pe.KhemH2945,your wivesנְשֵׁיכֶ֔םne.shei.KhemH802,and thy strangerוְגֵ֣רְךָ֔ve.Ge.re.khaH1616that isinבְּקֶ֣רֶבbe.Ke.revH7130thy campמַחֲנֶ֑יךָma.cha.Nei.khaH4264,from the hewerמֵחֹטֵ֣בme.cho.TevH2404of thy woodעֵצֶ֔יךָ'e.Tzei.khaH6086unto the drawerשֹׁאֵ֥בsho.'EvH7579of thy waterמֵימֶֽיךָ׃mei.Mei.khaH4325:

12That thou shouldest enterלְעָבְרְךָ֗le.'a.ve.re.KhaH5674into covenantבִּבְרִ֛יתbiv.RitH1285with Yhwhיְהוָ֥הYah.wehH3068thy GodH430,and into his oathוּבְאָלָת֑וֹu.ve.'a.la.ToH423,which Yhwhיְהוָ֣הYah.wehH3068thy GodH430makethכֹּרֵ֥תko.RetH3772with thee this dayH3117:

13That he may establishהָקִֽים־ha.kim-H6965thee to dayהַיּ֨וֹם׀hai.YomH3117for a peopleלְעָ֗םle.'AmH5971unto himself, and thathe may be unto thee a Godלֵֽאלֹהִ֔יםle.lo.HimH430,as he hath saidדִּבֶּר־di.ber-H1696unto thee, and as he hath swornנִשְׁבַּע֙nish.Ba'H7650unto thy fathersלַאֲבֹתֶ֔יךָla.'a.vo.Tei.khaH1,to Abrahamלְאַבְרָהָ֥םle.'av.ra.HamH85,to Isaacלְיִצְחָ֖קle.yitz.ChakH3327,and to Jacobוּֽלְיַעֲקֹֽב׃u.le.ya.'a.koH3290.

14Neither with you only do I makeכֹּרֵת֙ko.RetH3772this covenantהַבְּרִ֣יתha.be.RitH1285and this oathהָאָלָ֖הha.'a.LahH423;

15But with himthat standethעֹמֵ֣ד'o.MedH5975here with us thisיֶשְׁנ֜וֹyesh.NoH3426dayהַיּ֔וֹםhai.YomH3117beforeלִפְנֵ֖יlif.NeiH6440Yhwhיְהוָ֣הYah.wehH3068our Godאֱלֹהֵ֑ינוּ'e.lo.Hei.nuH430, and also with him that isnot here with us this dayהַיּֽוֹם׃hai.YomH3117:

16(For ye knowיְדַעְתֶּ֔םye.da'.TemH3045how we have dweltיָשַׁ֖בְנוּya.Shav.nuH3427in the landבְּאֶ֣רֶץbe.'E.retzH776of Egyptמִצְרָ֑יִםmitz.Ra.yimH4714;and how we cameעָבַ֛רְנוּ'a.Var.nuH5674throughבְּקֶ֥רֶבbe.Ke.revH7130the nationsהַגּוֹיִ֖םha.go.YimH1471which ye passed byעֲבַרְתֶּֽם׃'a.var.TemH5674;

17And ye have seenוַתִּרְאוּ֙va.tir.'UH7200their abominationsשִׁקּ֣וּצֵיהֶ֔םshi.Ku.tzei.HemH8251,and their idolsגִּלֻּלֵיהֶ֑םgi.lu.lei.HemH1544,woodעֵ֣ץ'etzH6086and stoneוָאֶ֔בֶןva.'E.venH68,silverכֶּ֥סֶףKe.sefH3701and goldוְזָהָ֖בve.za.HavH2091, which were among them:)

18Lest there should beיֵ֣שׁyeshH3426among you manאִ֣ישׁ'ishH376,or womanאִשָּׁ֞ה'i.ShahH802,or familyמִשְׁפָּחָ֣הmish.pa.ChahH4940,or tribeשֵׁ֗בֶטShe.vetH7626,whose heartH3824turneth awayפֹנֶ֤הfo.NehH6437this dayהַיּוֹם֙hai.yOmH3117from Yhwhיְהוָ֣הYah.wehH3068our Godאֱלֹהֵ֔ינוּ'e.lo.Hei.nuH430,to goH3212andserveלַעֲבֹ֔דla.'a.VodH5647the godsאֱלֹהֵ֖י'e.lo.HeiH430of these nationsהַגּוֹיִ֣םha.go.YimH1471;lest there should beיֵ֣שׁyeshH3426among you a rootשֹׁ֛רֶשׁSho.reshH8328that bearethפֹּרֶ֥הpo.RehH6509gallרֹ֖אשׁroshH7219and wormwoodוְלַעֲנָֽה׃ve.la.'a.NahH3939;
