Job 2:3-9
3The LordH3068 saidH559 to SatanH7854, “Have you 1consideredH7760H3820H5921 My servantH5650 JobH347? For thereH369 isH369 noH369 oneH369 likeH3644 him on the earthH776, a blamelessH8535 and uprightH3477 manH376 2fearingH3372 GodH430 and turningH5493 awayH5493 from evilH7451. And he stillH5750 3holdsH2388 firmH2388 to his integrityH8538, although you incitedH5496 Me against him to 4ruinH1104 him withoutH2600 causeH2600.” 4SatanH7854 answeredH6030 the LordH3068 and saidH559, “SkinH5785 for skinH5785! Yes, allH3605 that a manH376 has, he will giveH5414 for his lifeH5315. 55HoweverH199, reachH7971 outH7971 with Your handH3027 nowH4994, and 6touchH5060 his boneH6106 and his fleshH1320; he will curseH1288 You to Your faceH6440!” 6So the LordH3068 saidH559 to SatanH7854, “BeholdH2009, he is in your 7powerH3027, onlyH389 spareH8104 his lifeH5315.”
7Then SatanH7854 wentH3318 outH3318 from the presenceH6440 of the LordH3068 and struckH5221 JobH347 with 8severeH7451 boilsH7822 from the soleH3709 of his footH7272 to the topH6936 ofH6936 his headH6936. 8And Job tookH3947 a pieceH2789 ofH2789 potteryH2789 to scrapeH1623 himself while 9he was sittingH3427 inH8432 the ashesH665.
9Then his wifeH802 saidH559 to him, “Do you stillH5750 holdH2388 firmH2388 your integrityH8538? CurseH1288 GodH430 and dieH4191!”
