Job 2:3-9
3And Jehovah saidH559 unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servantH5650 JobH347? for there is none like him in the earthH776, a perfectH8535 and an uprightH3477 manH376, oneH376 that feareth GodH430, and turneth awayH5493 from evilH7451: and he stillH5750 holdeth fast his integrityH8538, although thou movedst me against him, to destroy him without causeH2600. 4And Satan answered Jehovah, and saidH559, SkinH5785 for skinH5785, yea, all that a manH376 hath will he giveH5414 for his lifeH5315. 5But put forthH7971 thy handH3027 now, and touchH5060 his boneH6106 and his fleshH1320, and he will renounce thee to thy faceH6440. 6And Jehovah saidH559 unto Satan, Behold, he is in thy handH3027; onlyH389 spare his lifeH5315.
7So Satan wentH3318 forthH3318 from the presenceH6440 of Jehovah, and smote JobH347 with sore boilsH7822 from the soleH3709 of his footH7272 unto his crown. 8And he tookH3947 him a potsherdH2789 to scrape himself therewith; and he satH3427 among the ashesH665. 9Then saidH559 his wifeH802 unto him, Dost thou stillH5750 holdH2388 fast thine integrityH8538? renounce GodH430, and dieH4191.
