Jeremiah 35:5-10
5Then I setH5414 beforeH6440 the 1menH1121 of the houseH1004 of the RechabitesH7397 pitchersH1375 fullH4392 of wineH3196, and cupsH3563; and I saidH559 to them, “2DrinkH8354 wineH3196!”
6But they saidH559, “We will not drinkH8354 wineH3196, for 3JonadabH3082 the sonH1121 of 4RechabH7394, our fatherH1, commandedH6680 us, sayingH559, ‘You shall 5not drinkH8354 wineH3196, you or your sonsH1121, foreverH5704H5769.
7You shall not buildH1129 a houseH1004, and you shall not sowH2232 seedH2233 nor plantH5193 a vineyardH3754, nor 6ownH1961 one; but you shall liveH3427 in 7tentsH168 allH3605 your daysH3117, soH4616 thatH4616 you may liveH2421 8manyH7227 daysH3117 9in the landH127 whereH834H8033 you 10liveH1481 asH1481 strangersH1481.’
8And we have 11obeyedH8085 the voiceH6963 of JonadabH3082 the sonH1121 of RechabH7394, our fatherH1, in allH3605 that he commandedH6680 us, not to drinkH8354 wineH3196 allH3605 our daysH3117, we, our wivesH802, our sonsH1121, or our daughtersH1323,
9norH1115 to buildH1129 ourselves housesH1004 to liveH3427 in; and we 12do not haveH1961 a vineyardH3754, a fieldH7704, or seedH2233.
10But we have 13livedH3427 only in tentsH168, and have obeyedH8085 and have doneH6213 according to allH3605 that our fatherH1 14JonadabH3082 commandedH6680 us.
