Genesis 3:7-24
7Then the eyesH5869 of bothH8147 of them were openedH6491, and they 1knewH3045 that they were nakedH5903; and they sewedH8609 figH8384 leavesH5929 togetherH8609 and madeH6213 themselvesH1992 waistH2290 coveringsH2290.
8Now they heardH8085 the soundH6963 of 2the LordH3068 GodH430 walkingH1980 in the gardenH1588 in the 3coolH7307 of the dayH3117, 4and the manH120 and his wifeH802 hidH2244 themselves from the presenceH6440 of the LordH3068 GodH430 amongH8432 the treesH6086 of the gardenH1588. 9Then the LordH3068 GodH430 calledH7121 to the manH120, and saidH559 to him, “5WhereH335 are you?” 10He saidH559, “6I heardH8085 the soundH6963 of You in the gardenH1588, and I wasH3372 afraidH3372 becauseH3588 I was nakedH5903; so I hidH2244 myself.” 11And He saidH559, “WhoH4310 toldH5046 you that you were nakedH5903? Have you eatenH398 from the treeH6086 from whichH834 I commandedH6680 you not to eatH398?” 127The manH120 saidH559, “The womanH802 whomH834 You gaveH5414 to be with me, she gaveH5414 me someH4480 of the fruit of the treeH6086, and I ateH398.” 13Then the LordH3068 GodH430 saidH559 to the womanH802, “WhatH4100 is thisH2088 that you have doneH6213?” And the womanH802 saidH559, “8The serpentH5175 deceivedH5378 me, and I ateH398.” 14Then the LordH3068 GodH430 saidH559 to the serpentH5175, “9BecauseH3588 you have doneH6213 thisH2088, CursedH779 are you moreH4480 thanH4480 allH3605 the livestockH929, And moreH4480 thanH4480 anyH3605 animalH2421 of the fieldH7704; On your bellyH1512 you shall goH1980, And 10dustH6083 you shall eatH398 AllH3605 the daysH3117 of your lifeH2425;15And I will 1112makeH7896 enemiesH342 Of you and the womanH802, And of your 13offspringH2233 and her 14DescendantH2233; 15He shall 16bruiseH7779 you on the headH7218, And you shall bruiseH7779 Him on the heelH6119.” 16To the womanH802 He saidH559, “I will greatlyH7235 multiplyH7235 Your painH6093 17in childbirthH2032, In painH6089 you shall 18deliverH3205 childrenH1121; Yet your desireH8669 will be for your husbandH376, And 19he shall ruleH4910 over you.” 17Then to AdamH121 He saidH559, “BecauseH3588 you have listenedH8085 to the voiceH6963 of your wifeH802, and have eatenH398 from the treeH6086 about whichH834 I commandedH6680 you, sayingH559, ‘You shall not eatH398 from it’; 20CursedH779 is the groundH127 becauseH5668 of you; 21With 22hardH6093 laborH6093 you shall eatH398 from it AllH3605 the daysH3117 of your lifeH2425.18Both thornsH6975 and thistlesH1863 it shall growH6779 for you; Yet you shall eatH398 the 23plantsH6212 of the fieldH7704;19By the sweatH2188 of your faceH639 You shall eatH398 breadH3899, UntilH5704 you 24returnH7725 to the groundH127, BecauseH3588 25from it you were takenH3947; For you are dustH6083, And to dustH6083 you shall returnH7725.”
20Now the manH120 namedH7121H8034 his wifeH802 2627EveH2332, becauseH3588 she was the motherH517 of allH3605 the livingH2416. 21And the LordH3068 GodH430 madeH6213 garmentsH3801 of skinH5785 for AdamH121 and his wifeH802, and clothedH3847 them.
22Then the LordH3068 GodH430 saidH559, “BeholdH2005, the manH120 has becomeH1961 like oneH259 of 28Us, knowingH3045 goodH2896 and evilH7451; and nowH6258, he mightH6435 reachH7971 outH7971 with his handH3027, and takeH3947 fruit alsoH1571 from 29the treeH6086 of lifeH2425, and eatH398, and liveH2421 foreverH5769”-- 23therefore the LordH3068 GodH430 sentH7971 him outH7971 of the GardenH1588 of EdenH5731, to cultivateH5647 the groundH127 from whichH834 he was takenH3947. 24So 30He droveH1644 the manH120 outH1644; and at the 31eastH6924 of the GardenH1588 of EdenH5731 He stationedH7931 the 32cherubimH3742 and the flamingH3858 swordH2719 which turnedH2015 every direction to guardH8104 the wayH1870 to 33the treeH6086 of lifeH2425.
