221WivesG1135, 2subject yourselves to your ownG2398 husbandsG435, 3as to the LordG2962. 23For 4the husbandG435 is the headG2776 of the wifeG1135, as ChristG5547 alsoG2532 is the 5headG2776 of the churchG1577, He HimselfG846 6being the SaviorG4990 of the bodyG4983. 24But as the churchG1577 isG5293 subjectG5293 to ChristG5547, soG3779 alsoG2532 the wivesG1135 ought to be to their husbandsG435 in everythingG3956.
